The last thing I expected when I moved to a small town was to be taken out by a cupcake stand… or for my dog to drag me straight into the arms of the town’s most charming contractor.

I moved here for quiet and the chance to figure out my life. What I got was a Great Dane who sows chaos everywhere he goes, a town full of meddling matchmakers, and cowboy Gray Hale -- stubborn, grounded, and impossibly kissable. He should be off-limits; after all, I’ve never fallen for a man before. But the more we hike, trade trivia-night trash talk, and steal kisses that leave me dizzy, the harder it becomes to stay away.

This doesn’t feel like a mistake. It feels like home.

Leashed Hearts is a steamy, laugh-out-loud opposites attract MM romance with lots of banter, rich boy/poor boy sparks, a slow burn bisexual awakening, and a happily ever after that’s sweeter than cupcake frosting.

When a gay man and a straight man met and feel something, that's the recipe for a wonderful, sexy tale. Gay Gray is instantly taken by the newcomer, straight Adrian is truly thrown into mental chaos by these new feelings. It's a shortish but angsty tale. I didn't realize that this was part of a series, one of which I had already read, discovering this had me wanting even more of these brothers and their love lives. Also we must not forget the Beast.

Not as strong as the other books so far and there’s an entire part that creates an “issue” that is missing from the story - even though it’s a huge plot line (it gets briefly discussed which is the only reason you know that it happened)

It did feel like a very copy and paste formula with no real huge differences other than there was a gorgeous pet dog.

I didn’t hate the story - just not as strong. I’m in love with the family dynamic though. So wholesome and country.

Again, the time lines and details don't match the events mentioned in the previous books. Also, there's a scene mentioned during the third act breakup, that I don't remember reading, that is the reason for the breakup. Maybe the author planned on adding it but didn't, I don't know. It's chaotic at best.
