Keep in mind that I gave this book four stars and I mean every one of those four stars.
This book reads like something written on Wattpad late 2000s. It’s a good Wattpad story and would’ve been one of my favorite on the site but it’s important to set your expectations for this book like it was written on a fanfiction site. Go in with low expectations and you’ll have a good time.
There are so many spelling mistakes - just absolutely everywhere. I would just have to autocorrect the word to something that made more sense in my head. Like when instead of hen and mine instead mind. Once I saw two spelling mistakes in one sentence.
Especially in the beginning there is too much fluff. The scene where Piper says goodbye to her Mom - I could’ve easily cut out 5,000 words and maybe more.
Plot doesn’t really exist in this book.
But the MAGIC HOCKEY in this book earned a whole star by itself. A vampire playing MAGIC HOCKEY against their rival hellhound so just so iconic.
Silas was great - loved his deviant art picture in the beginning of the book.
And the chapter titles made me laugh a couple times.
I had fun reading this book and would recommend for anyone looking for an angsty vampire/witch sapphic romance. With plenty of sex in graveyards.
