At mud consistency....
The first installment presented a few revelations but still left me anticipating more. The plot has thickened so much that it is at mud consistency. Ciara is still torn between two men but not like you would think. She is learning just how low down Kairo is. His closet full of skeletons is falling out at a rapid pace. Hov is learning more about his immediate family and childhood. Crew is stuck between a rock and a hard place with an ex. Cashmier true colors are shining through more and more each day. Hov informed her that he would like a DNA test. Emoney is flossing and spending bundles on Pernelle with her latest get rich scheme. Unfortunately, Princeton got caught in the crossfire and was shot. His life is literally hanging by a thread. Oh, and councilman Davis, brother, the pastor is just as crooked as councilman Davis was. I am currently hanging on a dliff anticipating the next and final installment.
Ladies and gents, if you have not had the opportunity to get into this series, I advise you to do so. You will love the spins the author puts on the storyline. I am hoping that the finale will be released sooner rather than later. I am ready to witness how everything and everybody situation folds out. I surely hope Princeton lives to tell his story.

Okay part two ends with another freaking cliffhanger. I already knew who HOVs brother was going to be in this story. It was obvious. Crew isn't a real friend to HOV. Three needs to be the end... Otherwise, I will never know.

Weak Aim, Straight Chaos, & Condoms 😂
I ain’t gonna lie, I wanted to hit Ciara for that weak-ass aim. Kairo was aggravating asf and straight delusional — how you cheat over and over, then blackmail somebody and still call it love? Boy, be for real. Cashmere’s entitled ass had me rolling my eyes every single time her name came up.
Hov was giving Ciara and Pernelle full princess treatment, and I loved every bit of it. But baby, Crew was the wild card — the way that lil situation went down between him and Pernelle? Yeah, I was here for it. Ciara trusting Kairo raw was beyond dumb, but I’m glad Hov pulled up when she went ghost.
I was happy Ciara told him everything because secrets only lead to chaos. Still wish Hov had told her about that kidnapping and Cashmere being pregnant — now both of them sitting on secrets waiting to blow. And Crew? He messed me up with that whole Cashmere mess. I’m giving him major side eye, hoping “bros before hoes” don’t backfire.
That mystery sibling reveal had me anxious — messy asf but I loved it. Hov peeping some shit had me clutching my pearls, and I need to know what’s up with Ciara’s missing baby. Could it be Princeton?? And Cashmere hiding condoms in a house where they don’t even use them? Girl, stop. When Hov said he wanted a DNA test, I said “clock it!”

This book was soooo good!!!…That ending made my heart drop!!!…Hov likely recognized Emoney voice and putting the pieces of that puzzle together!!!…
I hope Princeton makes it back from this tragedy!!!…That area is about to be real hot!!!…

Definitely can’t wait for part 3. I’m glad that she doesn’t usually make us wait too long! I would like to say that I have been following this author since she came out and I really appreciate her stories for being entertaining, interesting, and innovative. Even if the storyline seems recycled she always uses that pen to slip in the twist the only she can give. My only gripe is that with every release my fingers are crossed that she has gotten a better team of editors. Whoever is being used now is doing her a disservice. There are way too many errors that are hard to overlook being that this happens in every book. It’s especially frustrating when those errors interrupt the continuity of the story. I will continue to support, but a word of advice is to get a better team of editors, proofreaders, even beta readers bc the current team is not cutting it and giving you a bad look.

Now, now, now, I hate to get started on a series and it’s this good and it’s not complete🤦🏾♀️ dang it!!! I’m too invested right now, I wonder if Hov has finally figured out that Emoney was the one he talked to on the phone? I hope the sir/ma’am get what she/he deserves. Oh and wait, I hope Pernelle gets the same treatment because her old confused tail knew what Emoney was up to and never said a word. I pray that Princeton makes it, because he was just a kid and didn’t deserve that. As far as Kairo is concerned, I hope Hov looks past the information that he found out and wipe Kairo clean off the earth. I hope and pray that Ciara and Hov works through their differences because I’m rooting for them to make it. Both Ciara and Hov deserves a happy ending. As far as Crew and Hov’s “baby mother,” I hope the baby is Crews so Hov can’t get rid of both them nasty booty people.

Sometimes I roll my eye when Ciara talks because what do you meaaaaan you going to sit down and have a steak dinner with your ex husband who just blackmailed you!? Anyways this quick read didn’t disappoint at all. You’ll read a softer side to HOV and more crazy drama because 50/50’chance whooo is the daddy!?! Yeah a the plot thickensssssss. Of course if you want a street love story with the messiest drama , betrayal, setups, dna test, a lick that went bad! And sometimes an airhead female lead lol pick this series up because the next book we are about to get so much blood shed …. That ringtone was a bit familiarrrrrr wasn’t it HOV?

I knew Kairo was going to be the long lost brother of Hov. I can’t wait to see how that works out. Crew is dirty for the secret he’s keeping. I pray it’s not his baby either. Cash has condoms hidden so she might have been sneaking with someone else also. Emoney is about to get it. Hov heard that voice and has figured it out. I want to know who did this to Princeton. I know he has to make it. Ciara has been through a struggle, but I know she’ll prevail. Hopefully, P doesn’t get caught up in that mess with Emoney. I need the finale asap!!!

Omg this series is gonna be so lit. Ok, my girl is catching hell from her soon to be ex-husband. Hov finding out the snitch that made a deal is his stepbrother. I'm praying my baby Princeton doesn't die on us. Cash is gonna get what's coming to her. I'm praying Hov and Crew don't have blowout. U did good on yet another book and I'm looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read

So I just read both books back to back.. I didn’t know it was a 3 part book or i definitely would’ve waited for the 3rd book to come out before I read. But it’s a page turner definitely keeps you hooked! A lot of things are coming to light, and I love that. I knew who Hov brother was going to be as soon as it was mentioned!! Also Pernelle isn’t really a good friend… Hov definitely figured it out, I can’t wait to see what he does once everything comes out. Crew should’ve been told Hov about Cashmere too! But can’t wait to see what happens next!

However, the deception, betrayal & carnage was still palpable in Castle Hill section in NY. But the skeletons are being exposed. This looks more like jealousy & revenge of desired legacy 💭🤔⁉️Hov’s criminal enterprise & or the specific origin of the compromise was/is obvious, but what’s next🫣.⁉️We shall see 🍿🫖🍪📖🤓…

Oh my! This keeps getting better and better wow. I just knew Ciara had took Kairo’s ass out. I’m glad she came clean with Hov he deserved to know what was up. I wanted him to handle Kairo so bad but then the author dropped a bomb and I’m left wondering how this will unfold now that he has that information. I don’t like Emoney for dragging P into her BS but P looking at the money, I just hope it doesn’t end badly for her. WOW
The first book took me by suprise with the many twists and turns and things happening so fast that book 2 made it all worth while and worth the wait. i ate this book up in less then 3 hours it was so good. everybody is just lying to everyone and secrets all over the place . it's a lot going on but the story is slowly unfolding . only one thing this far has been predictable but everything else has come as a total surprise and i can't wait to see how the story unfolds

Okayyyyyyyyyy!!!! What I learned in this book is crazyyyyyyy. Cash and Crew, Kiaro and Jessica having a baby together this is too much. I think Hov probably figured out about Emoney I just wished Nelle would've said something since she knows the truth. Oh and Kiaro being Hov little brother is CRAZYYYYYY. I'm about to get into part 3 to see how this ends.

Read in one setting which was a couple of hour!
This second book in this series was so well written with so of the most thrilling plot twist that I read it in one setting which was couple of hours! I literally could not stop reading until the story ended in a suspenseful cliff hanger ! I can not wait to read the third book of this enjoyable series!🌋

They finally got Princeton. I wonder what he knew. It’s not like he was selling drugs. He was just a kid riding his bike. I already know book 3 bout to get so messy. I feel like Hov can’t trust nobody but Ciara at this point.

I picked this up because I was waiting on another book to come out and let’s say now I’m waiting on part 3 of this book. Great twists and story line. Weak MFC but hey they’re out there in real life. Really enjoyed this book

Why did Ciara keep getting disrespected ?Kairo main goal was to hurt her at all cost.
Hov had to get away from Cashmier who constantly tormented his spirit. The stuff that surfaced I did not see it coming.

Really good.
I just had to go ahead and start this book after reading the first one. I couldn't put it down. The twists and turns that went on had me talking to the characters. On to the next part.
