This was a great book, I always enjoy a Lisa Cullen book I love her take on mafia dark romance because there not always drama every page she manages to have a dramatic build up without it being to over the top, sometimes with this genre it's fire fights all the time but Lisa version is intricate, lots of moving parts that don't add up to what you anticipated you get a surprise, I love the way that she writes, it's easy to follow and always enjoyable.
The mmc in this one is called Dante, he is the youngest salvatore, the play boy, unreliable, non committal he has a "relationship" with gianna Rossi but when gianna ends up pregnant Dante admits he doesn't want to be a father so she leaves hides the fact she had twins. When she's found they return they end up married. Dante falls in love with his children and gianna and you see page by page him growing up and becoming the man he should have been for Gianna and his family. Gianna has to contend with all the drama surrounding her family and her brother who seemingly betrays her in a bid to enact a legacy her father planned where gianna is the unknowing key. There's so much she doesn't know a whole network trying to take down her new husband and his family and she has to choose loyalty to her brother or loyalty to her new family.
There's love, lies and betrayal in this book. I loved it.
Thanks for another epic read Lisa.

What better way to kick off the beginning of the month than with my favorite type of romance—mafia, even better with the pregnancy trope. Double Trouble for the Mafia Prince is the first book I’ve read by Lisa Cullen and Book 4 in the Underworld Heirs Series. No, I did not read Books 1-3. As I mentioned, Book 4 is my first Lisa Cullen book; however, each is a standalone. After reading Double Trouble, I will read the others and work through the rest of the back list.
Double Trouble has all the makings of the mafia romance I enjoy. Having said that, let me preface that I don’t mind that Dante is a man wh0re. He did what he did before Gianna. He did not stay innocent after Gianna left him either. It is what it is, and it is fiction. Dante gets his ish together when he is forced to marry Gianna after his family finds out she has twins, and they are his. I liked the bond he was creating with his girls. Those moments were special. The spice scenes were hot. And I enjoyed the mafia plot too.
Gianna walked away from the only man who ever got close, and she did it carrying a secret that changed everything. Dante said no to fatherhood, so she disappeared, raised their daughters, Arietta and Alessia, in silence, and built a life far from the mafia politics of their families. But five years later, the truth won't stay buried.
To protect their girls, Gianna and Dante are forced into a marriage neither of them wants but both of them need. What starts as survival slowly cracks open old wounds, buried tension, and feelings they never dealt with. Loyalty fractures. Power shifts. And a legacy built on control comes knocking.
As danger closes in, Gianna and Dante are tested as partners, parents, and people who still carry pieces of each other. Trust isn’t easy. Love isn’t simple. But when the walls fall, they’re left with a choice they never thought they’d get to make.
Gianna and Dante evolve from survivors of their past into architects of something new. She finds strength in claiming her voice. He learns to lead with heart, not fear. Together, they move from forced alliance to something real, built on respect, shared scars, and a love neither of them saw coming.
A dark, steamy, intense, second chance, forced marriage mafia romance with secret twins, enemies to lovers tension, and a slow burn that hits deep. It explores love, loyalty, identity, power, legacy, trust, betrayal, redemption, survival, and found family. It’s about breaking the patterns that built you, choosing something better, and building a future strong enough to hold everything you never thought you’d have.
Lisa Cullen does it again with another gripping mafia romance full of suspense, betrayal, and heart!
This time we follow Dante Salvatore, the youngest Salvatore prince, a notorious ladies’ man suddenly forced to grow up when he discovers he’s a father to secret twin daughters. Gianna Rossi, the woman he once pushed away, has been raising their children in secret until fate and family duty pulls them back together in the most dramatic way possible: marriage of convenience, mafia-style.
The secret baby twist is one of my favorite tropes and it was perfectly executed here. Dante’s transformation from reckless playboy to protective father and husband is heartfelt and addictive to watch unfold. The suspenseful mafia worldbuilding adds incredible depth to the story; it doesn’t just revolve around the romance, but also around loyalty, power struggles, and betrayals that cut close to home. The pacing is fast for a 340-page book, full of tension, twists, and cinematic moments that keep you hooked.
While Gianna felt a little too passive at times, her torn loyalties between her birth family and her new one with Dante and their girls gave her character layers I appreciated. The chemistry between them never fades, and the emotional stakes kept me invested until the last page.
If you love mafia romance with secrets, betrayals, suspense, sizzling passion, and a hero who finally steps up, this book is definitely for you. Recommended!.

I devoured this book in one sitting because I simply could not look away. Double Trouble for the Mafia Prince is everything I want in a dark mafia romance—danger, obsession, family secrets, and a hero who’s as ruthless as he is protective. From the moment Dante Salvatore strode into that conference room, I knew I was done for. He’s the youngest Salvatore prince, untamed, dangerous, and impossible to resist. The way Lisa Cullen writes him—charcoal suits, lethal eyes, a man who doesn’t ask, he takes—made my heart skip in the best way. And the heroine? I loved her. She’s smart, driven, and still vulnerable in a way that makes you ache for her. Watching her stand her ground while also falling for the very man she swore off was just delicious. And then there are the twins. Oh my heart. The secret babies trope is one of my catnip favorites, but Cullen took it up a notch with real emotional stakes. When Dante finds out, his reaction is everything—fierce, possessive, and surprisingly tender. The danger surrounding their family adds a whole other layer of suspense, especially when it becomes clear the true villain isn’t Dante at all but her own father. This book gave me a perfect mix of steam, action, and heart. The tension between love and loyalty, the high stakes of mafia life, and the way Dante becomes both her undoing and her protector had me absolutely glued to the page. If you’re a sucker for second chances, secret babies, and a ruthless antihero who will burn the world to protect his family, Double Trouble for the Mafia Prince will wreck you in the best way possible.
Dante Salvatore is a ladies man, and being the youngest son, doesn't have to worry about much in the business; his older brothers handle all that. Gianna is a Rossi, and they're looking to reconnect with the Salvatore family to make them both stronger against an unknown rising faction. Dante and Gianna meet to discuss the business and takeovers. One thing leads to another, and Gianna finds herself pregnant. She asks him one crucial question, which he doesn't answer to her satisfaction. So she gets his mother Valentina, to send her on a mission overseas, far away from everyone. She is safe for five years until, while on a video call with Valentina, one of her twins enters the room and gets seen. Gianna is summoned back home to answer questions. Dante's family and her brother Rafe tell her she has to marry Dante to keep the children safe. Despite their initial misgivings, being married was not as bad as they thought when they rekindled old feelings. Lisa keeps you turning the pages with all the twists and turns that you dont see coming. I received an arc from Booksprout for my voluntary honest review for NN Book Blog. If you love a dark, steamy mafia romance with some mystery and intrigue, then you will love this book.
Gianna Rossi and Dante Salvatore have fun, nothing serious, just a hook-up when they want to scratch that itch. But sometimes life has other plans, and when Gianna finds herself in a situation, Dante lets her know how he feels. She knows she has to walk away to protect herself.
But nothing ever says secret forever, and when the family finds out, she gets pulled back into the fold. Her life is then not her own, decisions are made for 'the good of the family' and 'protection'.
Dante, the youngest, has always had a freer lifestyle, but that soon changes when Luca, the head of the family, tells him he must now step up. Dante has never forgotten Gianna; she left her mark, no other woman has compared to her. This union will be in name only, or that is what he tells himself, because once her sees her again, those old feelings soon come to the fore.
Dante and Gianna must navigate their personal feelings, as well as those of their children, while also balancing loyalty to their families. But loyalties are tested, plans are in motion to disturb the status quo, and when the evidence comes to light, can all of those involved make the right decisions about which side they are on?.

The writing is detached; it lacks emotional warmth. The author uses 1 or 2-sentence paragraphs, which is choppy. I skimmed all the book. Early on Gianna says that "The soulless in me matches that in him." That's exactly why I never connected to either character. I never felt any real connection between them. The Mafia problem is a worldwide conspiracy plot, something James Bond like.
I've lost interest in Mafia stories because they are all so predictable. Dante has many women, before and after Gianna. She is the brains that keeps her family business running but of course isn't appreciated in this world. He wants her, she wants him. The first few chapters are very graphic sex. Things progress until she learns something that changes her world and not his. (I'm always surprised when these women discover themselves pregnant after so much unprotected sex.) So she leaves.
He has never forgotten her; no other woman compares to her etc. She and the twins are found and forced home; forced to marry him. He says the union will be in name only. Oh sure, like we believe that. Then he steps up to be a father (to the babies he told her to abort). Mafia drama ensues including the predictable kidnapping.

Steamy Mafia Romance with Heart Lisa Cullen delivers another addictive read with Double Trouble for the Mafia Prince. This story has everything—danger, passion, and the emotional punch of hidden secrets coming to light. The mafia prince is the perfect mix of dark, powerful, and protective, and the twin twist adds an extra layer of excitement and drama. The chemistry between the leads is off the charts, but what really stands out is the emotional connection that builds alongside the steam. I loved the balance of suspense and romance—it kept me flipping pages late into the night. If you enjoy mafia romance with high stakes, sizzling heat, and a strong dose of heart, this one is definitely worth reading.

Double Trouble for the Mafia Prince is a story that has everything lovers of mafia romance could ask for. It's an emotional rollercoaster ride from start to finish, full of secrets, passion, chemistry and danger.
Dante Salvatore, the youngest of the Salvatore princes, is all alpha male, dark, powerful, and protective. The chemistry between him and Gianna Rossi, a woman he once rejected, is palpable and off the charts. But what I loved most was the emotional connection that built between them. There's a good balance of suspense and romance in their story and it kept me turning the pages of my Kindle long after I should have retired for the night.

Gianna and Dante's story keeps you glued to the book from the very beginning. They connect when Gianna's family loses everything, leaving her with no choice but to work for the Salvatore family. There, she meets Dante, and it doesn't take long for them to develop feelings for each other and begin their relationship. Everything changes when something happens, and she decides to leave the town, him, and later her secret. When they reunite after years, the sparks are still there, and the sparks are still burning between them—not just because of the reunion, but also because her secret has now been revealed. Highly recommended reading.

Dante refuses to have anything to do with the Gianna's pregnancy and irresponsibly chooses to remain a player. Their well written and complicated romance has drama, danger, steamy chemistry, rejection, Mafia action, and forgiveness.

This is the 4th and final book in the series and it is very good. This is Dante’s story, he is the youngest brother and is considered a playboy who is not serious about the family business. He is a womanizer and causes problems. The h is does logistics and other errands for the family because her family was wiped out by his family. They start an affair and when she discovers that she is pregnant, she leaves. Her daughters are accidentally discovered and she is brought back to marry the H. The plot is well written with betrayal, attempted murders, kidnappings and lots of hot sex and cute girls. They got their HEA. Great ending.
Come read the perfect Mafia romance where danger, betrayal and the struggle to survive occur in the pages of this book. Gianna and Dante are two lovers who come together but don't stay together. Gianna leaves after finding she is pregnant, now years later her secret is revealed, and she will do anything to protect her daughters. Happy ever after pending if these two can figure out how to survive what is coming their way together.

I'm fast becoming a Lisa Cullen fan. This is the fourth book in the Underworld Heirs series and this may be my favorite so far. This book is the story between Dante and Gianna. Dante starts out as the dangerous fckboyish man who revels in chaos and violence. Gianna is smart, focused and strong. There's plenty of twists and turns in the story and a ton of action. All that is mixed in with some really great spice. Overall, this was a very fun read. I really liked it.

I like Dante and Gianna, but this story was weaker than the rest. It started out strong. I loved the battle between the two, it brought great chemistry. But then it all just became weaker. As Dante grew into himself, Gianna seemed to have lost her spark. As a mom, she made tough choices and did what was best for her family, but the fire she started with didn’t last. The ending was a bit anticlimactic. It was often spicy though.

Gianna and Dante were lovers but when he reveals he doesnt want to be a father, Gianna leaves after getting a positive pregnancy test, she raises her twin girls alone until Dante finds out and forces her to marry him but can he be the father he didnt think he wanted to be? Can he protect his family from deeper betrayals? Well written engaging steamy desires second chances, secret pregnancy, twins and more
The story immediately pulled me in with its fast pace. I was able to keep up and rooted for their happy ending. I enjoyed the building of relationship between the twins and their dad. The support our couple provided each other was beautiful. As always Ms.Cullen has top tier writing and world building. I def would recommend. I look forward to going back to reread the series.

Dante and Giana keep you turning the pages in this exciting story. When Giana's family loses everything, she goes to work for the Salvatore's which is where she connects with Danter and starts their path but when a fallout has her leaving town they only reconnect when her secret comes out. Their story kept me glued to the pages.

I love a good mafia romance and this one was great! I received this as an advanced read and voluntarily leaving a review. Great characters, great story!!
Gianna gets pregnant with Dante’s twins but hides them from him as she deals with her own family drama. But he finds out and marries her making them a family. He’s a reformed playboy that’s become a fierce protector of his family. Gianna has still torn between him and her own family. Great chemistry and great story!!.
I loved Gianna and Dante. They are both strong characters from opposing mafia families, but they don't let that interfere with their passion.
This book is builtaround many strong characters and has the violence and villains which usually show up in a mafia book. It also has a lot of heat between the MC's.

What a great read! The plot was so well developed and tantalizingly steamy. World building was expertly handled and described. The characters really drove the story. They were complicated and angsty and hawt together. A really great time reading. Highly recommend.

Dante Salvatore, the youngest Salvatore prince, embodies raw alpha energy—dark, commanding, and fiercely protective. The chemistry with Gianna Rossi, a woman he once turned away, crackles with undeniable intensity. Yet, it’s their deepening emotional bond that truly captivates. This story masterfully blends suspense and romance, delivering a gripping read from beginning to end.

A mafia romance, this is the fourth book in the Underground series; however, they can be read as standalones. I love anything Lisa writes and these books keep getting better. What makes this a good book it also has the pregnancy trope and the plot and characters are written beautifully. I love the writing style and attention to detail that Lisa puts into her books. Anyone who loves mafia romance with a pregnancy trope - then this book is for you!!
Gianna and Dante have a passionate time together but when he indicates he doesn't want children she goes into hiding with their unborn children. When they are reunited things take a dangerous turn ans their lives are in danger despite the protection given. It was an interesting and intense read. I could not put this book down.

Double Trouble For The Mafia Prince is book four of the Underworld Heirs Series.
Gianna and Dante have a bit of an interesting relationship together. They meet and have a spicy time together, but then separate for a few years. When they reunite, Dante realizes he left Gianna with a little gift and now has come to claim what is his. Dante was intense and determined.
The 4th and final book of the series once again seems like information is missing as the storyline isn't a smooth read. Dante and Gianna are likable and have an intense hate-to-love dynamic.

Gianna had a lot of choices she had to make, for her, her children, the man that she loves, and whether or not to choose to side with her brother. I couldn't put it down because I wanted to see how well and strong she continued to be through it all.
