The fourth hint Willowbark is teetering on the edge of magical disaster? Graves in the cemetery carved with the names of the living. It seems like the worst prank ever… until one of those people turns up dead.
I’m Aurora Hart. Cat-dragon owner. Reluctant spell-caster. Unwilling magnet for every supernatural mess this town coughs up. And now my best friend’s name is carved into one of those stones, which means the clock is ticking.
The Muskberry witches are rallying the covens, the town is reeling from the loss of a cherished community member, and the Glimmerfen Gazette has already splashed the murder across the front page.
With vampires prowling at the edges, cult whispers rising, and a centuries-old pact clawing its way back into the present, one thing is someone in Willowbark is willing to kill to see their ends met.
And If I don’t untangle this mess soon, the next freshly dug grave could belong to Maeve. The town may look quaint, but in Willowbark, the dead don’t rest easy and neither will I.

Life in Willowbark is hectic for Rory and her friends, the Muskberry family especially when they find newly installed graves. These graves contain names of living witches and vampires. Then a witch is found dead and Rory has to find a way to save the others. An entertaining page turner with well defined characters especially Floofs, the cat dragon who is an enigma. I like the blend of romance, suspense and humour.
This chapter in the Willowbark saga is very exciting and moves the story into further intrigue. Gravestones appear and then bodies are found inside. The Muskberries take the lead in the investigations, Conner moves out from Aurora' shop. The covens are all involved as well as the vampires rallying around. An excellent follow-up to the story. Received a copy for an honest review and recommended read.
The fourth in the series and the excitement continues to build! I'm very glad that definite steps are being taken to resolve the pact issue as well as the love interest.
Strongly recommend that you read this series in order. While there is a plot that resolves in each book, the overall story arc continues through each book.
Wow! This was the best one yet! There was so much going on, it was hard to put down. As Rory gets more familiar with her magic, she becomes more and more involved in keeping her town safe. She’s on a time-crunch in this one. She has to figure out who the evil one is before another innocent person is killed.
Graves and Grimoires was a really fun, cozy paranormal read. I loved the witchy vibes, grimoires, and overall atmosphere. The story pulled me in quickly, and i love the characters, especially Floofs. It was an enjoyable read and I’d happily pick up more from this world. Perfect if you’re in the mood for something magical with a slightly dark edge.
I have just fallen in love with this series. The storyline is complicated and involves quite a few characters and back stories. This all weaves together to create a powerful and entertaining and interesting book. I just love it!!
Things are getting too close for comfort for Rory and her coven. I have a sneaking suspicion about what order her magic falls under. I can’t wait for her to figure it out. I also think she is much more powerful than anyone thinks. I love reading this series! It is awesome!
