My Favorite Sinners

Rate this book
Tyler and I have spent eight painful years trying to get Felix back. Felix has moved on with his life and barely talks to me. He hates Tyler. But I’m not giving up on us and will do anything Felix asks of me. I no longer care about reputation or living by the law. I’ll embrace the seductive darkness of Felix’s underworld if it means he’ll call me his girl. These men belong to me and the three of us will be together again.

My Favorite Sinners is part 2 of Felix, Tyler, and Harper's Duet. Part 1, My Favorite Secret, should be read first. This is an MFM romance.

Firstly you must read part one, My Favourite Secret as it is part of a duet. There are some sensitive topics so please check if you may have some concerns. This had me invested from the beginning and yes as the name suggests it is a spicer read and I found this time a little darker than the others in the series. This MFM romance featuring two morally grey brothers, Tyler and Felix and ballerina Harper. There are plenty of group spice scenes, the tension instant and emotions are felt while we follow their story. We also get a small glimpse of the next book in the series which I can’t wait to read.
Between a 4 & 4 1/2 🌟

My Favorite Sinners (Playing Favorites #3)
by Skyla Summers

Saying I’m obsessed with this series is honestly an understatement.
I started my journey with Dan and Ally’s story and I could not stop. I have been waiting for this final duet in Harper, Tyler, and Felix’s story like there was no tomorrow, and somehow… I’m even more obsessed now that I’ve read it.
This one is darker, spicier, and more unhinged than the previous books. There is so much heartbreak surrounding all three of them, and at times I truly didn’t see how they could fix what was broken in the first part of the duet… but let me tell you, when it does happen, you are NOT ready.
The chemistry between these characters is unmatched. Even through the gritty, darker moments, their love still shines through in such a powerful way.
And the spice?? TOP tier. Some of the filthiest and yummiest scenes I’ve read… and I read quite a bit of romance lol.

If you like forbidden/taboo romance, two brothers sharing a girlfriend, group scenes, dark romance, and high spice… I highly recommend this duet.

I cannot wait for this to come out in audio because I already know it’s going to be absolute fire 🔥

Quotes that live rent free in my head:

“It’s always been you, Harper. I tried to move on but you’ve never left my mind, not even for one second.”
“I promise you, Harper, you’re going to have everything in this lifetime you’ve ever wanted. Tyler and I will make sure of it.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Felix, Harper and Tyler are thriving when it comes to their business/professional lives. However the personal is not so good. These three miss each other. Harper wants her men she wants them to all be happy together. Felix is fighting his feelings because he is still hurt from the past and I don’t blame him. We’re happy we’re giggling along and then plot twist. I was waiting on it but this was not what I was expecting. I can’t wait to see how it plays out. And may I just say Harper doesn’t play about hers, true definition of F around and find out. Skyla had me scared for a moment and I can’t say why just know I was scared. We’re happy now, we’re singing we’re dancing and all the thinkable but I’m just waiting for the other shoe drop. I know something is coming. And it came. And baby it was good I wasn’t expecting it. I wasn’t expecting the story to play out the way it did in general. It was so much better than I imagined it to be. And we can’t forget the spice, they were going at it like rabbits. This was some top tier spice. This book was amazing and the perfect ending for their story. Now Skyla let’s talk about that last chapter. I peeped it in the story but I’m going to need that tomorrow. I loved this book so much.

ARC Review
wow! I’d already been dying for this after My Favorite Secret, and it definitely delivered. The tension was insance, the emotions were Messy in the best way, and harper embracing her violent possessive side was everything. I read this in one sitting because I was so obsessed I couldn’t put it down.
the dynamic between all three of them was so addictive. Everything just feels bigger in this one, the emotions, the tension, the drama. Harper is fully unhinged in the best way, and I loved how far she’s willing to go for her men. Like, she’s done playing it safe and I was here for it. Felix is still frustrating and closed off, but that just makes every moment with him hit harder. he starts off as cold, calculated but really he’s just a man still heartbroken and feeling betrayed but even all these years later he loves Harper. Tyler, is still trying to make amends for the mistakes he made when he was younger, and prove his loyalty to them both. All harper wants is the three of them together again. One night becomes a catalyst that binds the three of them together and it is everything.
Also… this book is spicy. Definitely brings the heat while still keeping all that angst and longing that makes their dynamic so addictive. The whole vibe is steamy, taboo, messy, and a little chaotic, but that’s exactly what makes it work.
And that ending has left me so excited (and a little desperate) for what’s coming next in the Forbidden Love series.

My Favorite Sinner absolutely delivered. The tension was intense, the emotions messy and raw, and the chemistry was off the charts. Skyla’s writing really pulls you in. The dynamic between the three was completely addictive, and the spice… that was dialled all the way up. At its core though, this story is about forgiveness, redemption, and a love that refuses to let go.

Felix is a deeply broken man, isolated and carrying years of pain he has never truly let go of. Beneath his cold, calculated exterior is someone still haunted by betrayal, heartbreak, and a love he cannot forget. Watching him avoid Harper and Tyler while still unravelling every time they were near was heartbreaking, and it made every moment of vulnerability hit even harder.

Tyler is just as emotionally complex, desperate to have his brother back and fix what was broken between the trio. All he wants is to rebuild what they had. He gives Harper completely up in the hope that it would bring Felix back to him, with the possibility that all three of them would then find their way back together again.

That said, there were moments where the characters' behaviour felt a bit immature for their ages. However, the Blackwood men still bring that intense, morally grey, over-protective energy that makes for a fun read.

Harper completely unravels in this book, and while some scenes were shocking and not in theme were her personality, I could not ignore how fiercely she loved her men. The lengths she goes to for them are (stabbingly) intense.

I also loved every scene with Dan and Ally. Their devotion to each other was everything I wanted, and I was honestly just cheering every time they appeared on the page.

Overall, this was an emotional, messy, addictive read full of angst, longing, and complicated love.

This series has had me in an absolute chokehold and this book was no different!

Felix, Harper and Tyler didn’t have it easy but their love and promise of forever stood against all odds. I love the way Felix and Tyler are so devoted to Harper and her happiness no matter what obstacles they face and I love how territorial Harper is of HER men.

There were tough moments and I was nervous how things would play out but it ended just how I hoped it would! Harper took back her power and my favorite trio gets to live happily ever after, getting everything they always dreamed they’d have together.

I am so thankful I received this as an ARC read! This series now holds a very special place in my heart. 🖤

(Fingers crossed we get another story to see how things go for Killian, the last Blackwood brother 🤭)

I've absolutely loved this series so far! Especially Harper! A ballerina who is stabby 😘 chefs Kiss! And you could see the little hints for killian. I went into My Favorite Sinners already obsessed after My Favorite Secret, but this book completely took over my brain in a way I wasn’t prepared for. I devoured it in one sitting because putting it down simply wasn’t an option. The intensity? Off the charts. The emotions? Wild, chaotic, and absolutely addictive 🔥

Harper has truly stepped into her power here, and honestly, it’s everything. She’s no longer holding herself back or trying to fit into anyone else’s expectations. She wants Felix and Tyler—both of them—and she’s done pretending otherwise. Watching her embrace that fierce, possessive, slightly unhinged side of herself was so satisfying. She’s been through so much, and in this story, she finally claims what she’s always deserved, no matter the consequences 💔✨

Felix is still that cold, guarded force—distant, sharp, and difficult to reach—but that only makes his moments of vulnerability hit even harder. Beneath all that control is a man who never really moved on, still carrying heartbreak and betrayal years later. And Tyler… his journey hit me in a different way. He’s trying so hard to atone for the past, to prove he belongs with them again, to show that loyalty and love can outweigh old mistakes. The growth in him feels real, and it adds so much depth to the trio.

And that’s the thing—this isn’t just romance. It’s complicated, messy, and deeply emotional. The connection between Harper and Tyler is layered with history and longing, while her dynamic with Felix carries a completely different weight—more restrained, more fragile, but just as powerful. When the three of them come together? It’s explosive in every sense of the word. The tension, the chemistry, the emotional pull—it all collides into something unforgettable 💥

One pivotal night shifts everything, pulling them back into each other’s orbit, and from that moment on, it’s impossible to look away. The story only escalates—bigger emotions, higher stakes, deeper drama. Even knowing there was a HEA, I still found myself wondering how they’d possibly make it work.

And yes… this book is hot🌶️ Like, seriously hot. But the spice never feels empty—it’s always tied to the characters, their history, their need for each other. That balance between heat and heartbreak is what makes it so addictive.

The Blackwood men bring that signature intensity too—protective, ruthless, morally gray in the best way. They’d destroy anything in their path for the people they love, and that energy adds another layer to an already gripping story. Seeing familiar faces again, especially Dan and Ally, made everything feel even more connected 🖤 And those little hints about Killian??? I’m already desperate for what’s coming next.

What really stood out is how this story isn’t just about passion—it’s about forgiveness, redemption, and the kind of love that refuses to break, no matter how much it’s tested. Harper, Felix, and Tyler don’t just belong together—they only make sense when they’re whole.

By the time I reached the end, I felt both completely satisfied and ridiculously impatient for more. That final tease? Yeah I’m not okay. I need the next book immediately 😩📚

ARC review

“Maybe if I repeat those words enough, I’ll start to believe them” ……... to be continued.

This is where Skyla left us in the 3rd book from her series ‘Playing favourites’, rude right? Just leave us with multiple questions. Where is Harper? Where is Tyler? What the hell is going on? We all had to patiently wait till the 2nd of May for the release of ‘My Favourite Sinner’, I mean I didn’t have to wait, I was fortunate enough to be sent an ARC and got to read it ahead of you all, sucks to be you. No, no I’m kidding!! It doesn’t suck to be you because now, the book is available to purchase!!

“Rule one: Never trust Harper and Tyler”. Why Felix, why? Tell us how they hurt you? Tell us you are, ok? Cant you tell Felix is my favourite, I mean who wouldn’t want a tall, gorgeous, broad man with tattoos and blonde hair? I mean, I have that so I’m happy but you guys, you need Felix in your life. Anyways, on with the book review.

Felix, Tyler and Harper, The taboo MFM romance between lifelong friends who become loveeeeerrrss. They had a rough trot in the last book ‘My Favourite Secret’, so many people wanted to ruin them and get in-between them to be with Harper, but they were always unsuccessful, as the three of them loved each other like no one has ever loved another. The three of them were so deep in love, protective and just down right obsessed with one another to the point that they would kill for Harper.

But something did eventually tear them apart. Whatever torn them apart, it took them 8 years, 8 years to find each other again. Which is sad because the three of them are the perfect team. Even though Felix and Tyler are brothers, they still had the same love for Harper as each other, they had the same protective nature and the sheer obsession to be touching her, caressing her and f***ing the damn life out of her every second they could.

This book has so much spice, you will have to take a quickeze to stop the reflux/heartburn. In the shower, in bed, in the ocean and the maze and its not individually, its all three of them together… yes double trouble, bang bang. Some days I wish I was Haper, oops. Did I say that out loud, shhhhhhhh.

I don’t think I can put to much more into this review because I will just spoil it for you. All I can say is, Skyla you did fantastic in this 4th book. You write fantastically and your imagination is wild, what do you get up to when you are not reading hey ha-ha.

Oooooooo, I had been waiting for this one! My Favorite Sinners by Skyla Summers is book three in the Playing Favorites series and part two of Felix, Tyler and Harper’s duet. This series is taboo and so spicy and left us in a HUGE cliffhanger! If you love the perfect, forbidden, why choose with two brothers and their best friend… So much tension, angst and every emotion, you need to read this book and series. It’s one of my very favorites!

Harper, the beautiful ballerina, is struggling deeply. Her heart has always been for her two men and she refuses to choose. She’s been through so much and is trying to move forward. I loved in this book how she grew into her true self. Reputation be damned. People be damned. Standing up for who she is and what she wants. I loved how she fully embraced her violent and possessive side with her men! This girl can no longer be pushed around! Felix, this man. So alpha and broody, closed off and unwilling to forgive, but deep down so devastated and heartbroken over all that has happened between them. Tyler, this man has allowed the hurt and pain to change that sweetness underneath. Realizing family and especially Harper and Felix are all that matters, he begins trying to make up for his past and prove his loyalty. The push and pull between these three, knowing that they are soul deep and are meant to be and they truly only work when they ALL are together breaks your heart! One night changes everything and pulls them back together in the best way. It’s pure fire between these three. Skyla will have you overheating multiple times. This book is so hot!

I loved seeing all of the family, Dan and Ally will always have my heart! And Killian………👀

Skyla Summers writes the perfect taboo. Yes there is delicious steam, BUT there is also a beautiful story of redemption, forgiveness, the true love of a family and soul deep love. I am telling you, you NEED to read this whole series now! And I CANNOT WAIT FOR KILLIAN!!! Skyla, the hints you dropped, we need it now!!!

"All throughout her childhood, she tried to resist temptation and be a girl with pure values. But she shines brightest when giving in to sin. It's when she's most truthfully herself."

Yup. Yup. Yup. She did it again. This series is one of my fav taboo romances. The smut we receive is so filthy I love it.

I have been dying to know how these three would end up ever since the way Skyla left us hanging in My Favorite Secret!?! And let's just say she delivered. I devoured it, just like I devoured every other book in this series.

The beginning of this book was torture to read because I was just dying for the three of them to get back together and get it onnnnnnnn. Although, the time that Harper gets with just Felix is some hot af sht but it just doesn't compare to when the three of them are together. Between the office scene after finally being reunited and their wedding ceremony.... are we joking!!!???! Filthy, filthy things happen and I was here for it.

I love the dynamic the three of them have with each other. Harper, Felix and Tyler's story is so intense and emotional you cannot put it down. Harper is definitely one lucky gal. The chemistry the three of them have with each other is insane. After everything that happens between them, the ending is everything they deserve and more.

But I do have to say Felix is by far my favourite. This man has such a strong protective nature over the people he loves. Everything about this man is just a yes for me. He can do no wrong in my eyes. I'd be feral for that man. I would follow him like a lost puppy.

Also, Killian... !!!!???!! I feel like I need to touch on this becuase every time this man was mentioned in the book I just kept saying “I need to know what is going on there!!?”. and then skyla blesses us with that last chapter and i am unwell!!!!? i need his book asap.

Lastly, I would just like to thank Skyla Summers for the arc!!

I have never been so ready to be back with Felix, Tyler and Harper, and this book did not waste any time throwing me straight back in.

My Favorite Sinners picks up with all the tension, secrets, messy feelings and spice that were already building in the first part of their story.

This book. I mean. When people say smut has no depth, they are so wrong. Not every spicy book is just spice, and while this one definitely had a lot of DP and blowies lol, it was also so much more than that.

I was only about 10 pages in and already wet in the eyes. Straight away, Skyla writes so much emotion into Felix. He is still hurting so badly from everything that happened in book one, and now he is not speaking to Tyler or Harper. You can feel how broken and guarded he is, and it made the start of this book hit so much harder than I expected.

Skyla is such a great writer, and she does such a good job of making you feel the emotion throughout the book. Not just between them as a trio, but between each of them individually too. Skyla has said before that she believes spice is better when there are strong emotions behind it, and I fully agree because that is exactly what this book did.

The relationship between the three of them is not just spice and drama, even though there is plenty of both. There is hurt, trust being tested, old wounds being opened, and everyone trying to navigate this new dynamic after the split. Felix, Tyler and Harper all bring something different to the relationship, and watching them try to find their way back to each other was messy, emotional and so good.

As with any book, make sure you check your trigger warnings before jumping in. There are some heavier topics and moments that might not be for everyone, but if you like messy, emotional darker romance with possessive men, tension, spice and a relationship that has to fight its way through a lot, this is one to add to your TBR.

Thank you, Skyla, for this ARC — I devoured it the moment it hit my Kindle. This second instalment in the Harper, Tyler, and Felix saga had me feral from page one. I went in fully prepared for more possessive, morally grey men and the girl who loves them with equal ferocity… and yes, the stabbing energy is still very much alive.

The story picks up right after the trio’s split, and honestly? Felix wrecked me.
He’s a broken man — betrayed, isolated, trying so hard to pretend he doesn’t care. But beneath all that bitterness, he’s still the down‑bad, ride‑or‑die Felix we know. Watching him avoid Harper and Tyler while simultaneously crumbling every time they breathe in his direction had me clutching my chest. His loneliness is palpable, and it makes every tiny moment of softening hit ten times harder.

Harper, meanwhile, is determined to stitch their trio back together. She’s confident, relentless, and feels everything with her whole chest — love, regret, longing, fury. She’s always been a character who makes the most sense when she’s with both her boys, and that still rings true here.
But I’ll be honest: I felt a little disconnected from her this time. Some of her spark dimmed, and she spent a lot of the book chasing after the men instead of standing in her own power. She still had her badass moments (and they were so satisfying), but a few scenes that followed didn’t sit quite right with me.

Now, the danger and tension?
Skyla had me thinking it fizzled out too quickly… only to whip it back around for one final, jaw‑dropping hit. I was shook. That last burst of chaos was everything I wanted and more.

And the spice?
Listen. Skyla did not come to play. It’s hot, it’s intense, it’s emotional, and it had me blushing like a teenager in all the right moments.

One of my absolute highlights, though, was seeing Dan and Allie again. They’re still disgustingly in love, still devoted, still the grounding force this universe needs. Every time they appeared, I was grinning like an idiot. And then… Killian’s chapter.
Skyla, be serious.
Are we getting an age‑gap, forbidden romance next? Because I live for that energy and I am already perched on the edge of my seat.

In the end, My Favorite Sinners is a solid, emotional, spicy conclusion to Harper, Tyler, and Felix’s story — messy, tender, chaotic, and full of the devotion that makes this trio unforgettable.

This book’s dedication is actually a really good indicator of whether or not you’re going to vibe with it…

“For every girl who has a breeding kink and is desperate to be fucked pregnant by two brothers.”

(Pure poetry.)

Skyla Summers writes the most deliciously spicy taboo romances, and My Favorite Sinners was no exception. I mean, one Blackwood brother is great, but two? Two is better. I love that our once sheltered, chastised prima ballerina FMC decides, fuck it, I’m not settling until I have them both… at the same time. Get it, girl.

But on a more serious note, I genuinely get a kick out of reading about characters and relationship dynamics that exist outside “acceptable” societal norms, especially when they refuse to give in to societal pressures and expectations and instead choose to go against the grain and chase their happiness, society be damned. It makes me want to fist-pump the air every time.

Harper’s morally grey side came out to play in this book, and I don’t know what that says about me, but it was thoroughly enjoyable. Be prepared for some mercurial behaviour from Felix, along with some serious reverse people-pleasing from Tyler. The characters definitely evolved as the story progressed, some more abruptly than others.

Despite this being a continuation of an already very spicy story, the yearning between Harper, Tyler, and Felix was still palpable throughout. Watching three people who so clearly belong together remain separated by hurt, grief, and emotional baggage was honestly heartbreaking at times. It was an emotional rollercoaster in the best way.

My Favorite Sinners is the second and final book in this duet, bringing a HEA to Harper, Tyler, and Felix. I listened to the prequel, My Favorite Secret, on audio, but enjoyed eyeball reading this instalment just as much. I honestly don’t think I lost or gained anything by switching formats, so either option works depending on your reading preference.

It was short, satisfying, and hella spicy. It’s a yes from me.

A big thank you to Skyla Summers for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Oh How I loved this book!

Discovering Skyla Summers earlier this year was one of the highlights of my reading experience so far for 2026. The first duet of Playing Favorites (Ally and Dan) was awesome and this second duet is arguably even better!

Definitely worth reading if you're into taboo, forbidden romance with A LOT of spice and heat!

My Favourite Sinners starts a year after the end of My Favourite Secret and then jumps 8 years to catch up with the timeline of the ending of My Favourite Sin.

It's hard to review this one without spoiling Book 3 dramatically but let's just say that the heartache and pain that ended Secret are not only back, they're exacerbated for all three characters.

I had no idea how Felix could recover from the end of the previous book and how Tyler and Harper could gain his trust -and their happiness- back. There didn't seem to be any hope of it happening and I really enjoyed how Skyla made it happen in the end. Some of it was pretty and mean, but very much human and understandable. Some of it was beautiful and selfless and so in keeping with the characters.

And then, then everyone was happy, all the problems were solved and there were so many pages left ... The plot twist was great after that false sense of security. And the way it was resolved... So so perfectly on point! I won't say more but the who who did the what and with the what was exactly what was needed to end the story full circle! Loved it !

And Killian... Oh how I am looking forward to his story! There's going to be fire and butterflies in that one!!

ARC REVIEW✨♥️

This book picks up 8 years after the events of book one, and that time jump added so much emotional depth to the story right from the beginning.
After Felix disappeared, Tyler and Harper both made choices they weren’t truly happy about, and you can clearly feel how those years shaped them. The weight of their past decisions still follows them into the present, which makes their reunion even more intense and complicated.
One thing I especially loved in this book was seeing how much all three characters had grown over time. There are still misunderstandings, unresolved emotions, and lingering tension between them, but their development made everything feel realistic and meaningful.
Felix returning after all those years, while still carrying the hurt from what happened between him, Tyler, and Harper, added such a strong emotional layer to the story. His pain still feels raw despite the time that has passed, which made his arc especially compelling to follow.
And Harper?? I loved her energy in this book.
She’s a little unhinged, she knows exactly what she wants, and she goes after it without hesitation, and honestly, that confidence made the dynamic between the three of them even stronger.
The relationship between Harper × Tyler × Felix is still full of unresolved history, misunderstandings, and emotional tension, which kept me hooked the entire time.
I also really loved the overall vibe of the story and seeing how much they all changed over the years. Their growth felt natural, and the happy ending felt truly earned after everything they went through together 🖤

Omg I have been as patiently as I can wait for this book to come out! You must read My Favorite Secret first as that book leaves off on a cliffhanger and this one picks up right where it left off.

Here we follow Harper, she has put so much energy into her career with the hopes that her trio will get back together. She never gives up even after 8 years! Harper is confident and feels everything with her whole heart! She loves both men and she needs both men physically as well as mentally. We saw some possessiveness in the first book but it really comes out in this one.

Enter Felix! Oh this man broke my heart! He was completely broken, he has been betrayed beyond words which have turned him cold. But deep deep down he never stop caring. Every time he had to be near Harper and Tyler a little piece of him longed but he wouldn’t give in which not only tortured himself but everyone else.

Oh Tyler, the sweetheart! He only wants to do what’s right by everyone, even if he doesn’t agree. He tried to protect Harper and Felix but what he thought was being helpful was hurting them.

When the past comes back after 8 years will it continue to tear them apart or will they finally come together?

And the very end.. Killian killian KILLIAN….. I’m screaming

ARC Review

***SOME SPOILERS***

Okay, so I just finished My Favorite Sinners by Skyla Summers, and first—definitely read My Favorite Secret before this one. You can follow along, but it hits so much better if you already know what happened before.

This book switches between Felix, Harper, and Tyler’s points of view, which I personally love because you really get inside everyone’s head. It makes all the tension and history between them feel way more real.

I’ll be honest, it had been a while since I read the first book, so I really appreciated the little flashbacks and reminders. It helped me piece everything back together without feeling lost.
Nothing in this book was super shocking, but that didn’t really matter to me. It was more about seeing how everything plays out between the three of them and watching them work through all the complicated stuff from their past.

But honestly, I just really liked getting to see their full story continue—and especially seeing them find some happiness after everything they’ve been through. That part made it worth it for me.
If you like character-driven stories with messy relationships and multiple perspectives, you’d probably enjoy this one! Oh, & it's VERY spicy! 🌶️

Check TW list before reading!!! According to Skyla Summers, “My Favorite Sinners is a taboo adult romance. There are elements that cross into dark romance but the story is on the lighter side of dark.”

My Favorite Sinners By Skyla Summers ARC Review

After the emotional rollercoaster ride that was book 1 that left me hanging after the betrayal and the huge cliffhanger that left me wanting more by the end I can say that this was a great satisfying conclusion to their duet! It was so great to be back in their world that made fall back into love with them again!

Felix, was my favourite main character as he was the the most heartbreaking and most misunderstood character but he was the one who was the most possessive and it was so healing to see him repair the damage that was done to their relationship after that cliffhanger.

The drama and the spice once again got packed with loads of energy that kept me hooked and engaged this was one of my most exciting reads I’ve been waiting for this was a great conclusion to their relationship but it was just so good!

Harper, was a great character there was part sometimes where I related to her character and she went through so much trauma with the guys to get where she is now and I really enjoyed them creating something new and healing from their pasts and focusing on the future!

Tyler, was another amazing character who was always there for Harper, when she was going through tough times and it was great to see them all lose control together and repairing the emotional damage they all went through for them to get their happily ever after!

Seriously...I think the blackwood Brothers took birth and all of them voted for going taboo....😆
But hey no complaints ts there!!
I enjoyed the story...
It was not at all disappointing...
Story was great.

One thing I mostly liked about the story is...there was flow....the characters having concern about being the relationship taboo and Harper treading carefully...them accepting it step by step...and then altogether not caring at all...
I likes that instead of just having fuck it moment...it was slowly accepting one...

I really liked when Felix called out on the behavior of Harper...like yes he finally said it...which made the starting of the story more real....
And of course we have to say nothing about the smut...bcz its always juicy😋

But...there are moments where I thought...

What if Harper would have chosen herself for once instead of being a dice between Felix and Tyler?

What if Tyler would have finally put his point, of how was he pressurized from all the direction?

and ...most of the times I felt like Tyler was the third wheel between the Felix and Harper.
If he would have been given smwht more recognition in the story...it would have been more great.

Overall I liked the story...
But I think my favorite in blackwood brother stories is still Dan and Ally.

And I can't wait for Killian's story!!!

I got ARC form the author
But I am leaving my honest reviews here....

Must read My Favorite Secret before reading

This was one of those books where I struggled with the rating again - and please remember, to me, 3 stars is still a positive.

I really enjoyed diving back into the chaotic mess that is Felix, Tyler and Harper's relationship - cause let's face it, that's what it is. The way MFSe was left, you just knew there would be a lot of work needed to bring these three back together.

This book is messy - it's dealing with emotions and the fallout from years of miscommunication. It's dealing with character growth that has happened or still needs to happen but the characters are too stubborn to realise - and this is also, imo, it's downfall. So much work needed to be done for the three MCs to get back together, and I feel everything just happened so... suddenly. Yes, elements were at play (trying to keep this as spoiler free as possible) that would lead to some quick, rash decisions, but for me a lot of it was very sudden, and a lot of plot points were almost too coincidental.

This doesn't mean it was a bad read in the slightest for me - I still enjoyed it, and just meant for me, personally, I had to suspend my beliefs a little bit for it all to happen the way it did. I just felt the forgiveness wasn't as hard earned as it could have been, seeing how broken our players were post MFSe, and that things were almost too quick to heat up; almost like sex was being used as a weapon in the beginning.

I will definitely re-enforce the need to check the triggers with this one. There are lots of heavy moments, some of which made me pause a lot. Remember, mental health always comes first.

I have to hand it to Summers, I did love the confidence of the change in relationship near the end of the book (AGAIN, so hard to write spoiler free reviews!!!) and how a certain scene panned out; that was really well written and I love the strength and the delivery of that particular moment.

Loved the connection back to Dan and Ally with this one, too, and the teaser of who the next couple will be? SOLD.

Overall, a fun read, and I loved that our trio did get their happily ever after in the end.

Thank you to the author for the eARC opportunity. These are my honest thoughts that I have provided voluntarily.

I’ve been desperate to know how Tyler, Felix, and Harper’s story would end ever since I finished My Favourite Secret, and My Favourite Sinners was everything I hoped for and so much more. Skyla Summers delivered the perfect conclusion to their intense, emotional, and addictive love story.

Felix is still as dark and dangerous as ever, carrying grudges like no one else, but underneath it all his fierce protectiveness for the people he loves makes him impossible not to adore. Tyler continues to prove why he’s the ultimate book boyfriend — willing to give Harper absolutely anything she needs while still keeping that deliciously twisted, possessive side that makes him so unforgettable. And Harper balances them perfectly; she’s sweet and loving, but when it comes to protecting the people she cares about, her vicious side comes out in the best way.

The chemistry between all three of them is electric from beginning to end, with plenty of scorching spice that completely melts you while still giving space for the emotional depth of their relationship to shine through. Every moment felt intense, passionate, and so deserved after everything they’ve been through.

This was the perfect ending to their story — emotional, spicy, protective, chaotic, and full of the love they fought so hard for. A truly satisfying happily ever after for Tyler, Felix, and Harper.

I could not wait to read this after how My Favourite Secret ended. It did NOT disappoint. The drama, the characters, the plot, just yes. The character development was on point, and I love how they finally realised what made them all happy and did not shy away from it, even it did take a catastrophe to make one MMC realise he was being a *little bit* silly.

The FMC really comes into her own and is a bad ass in her own right, her possessiveness comes back ten-fold and ugh it is sooo good. I like reading a book when its not just the MMC that is touch-her-and-die, but the FMC is ALSO touch-him-and-die!

After the first twist at about 50% I was suspicious as they were all happy and together at 70% and I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and when I got to 80~85 % I thought we were in the clear but nope, Skyla decided to lull us into a false sense of security and boom, at 90% hits us with the biggest twist, but wow did it read well, and gees was it hot to read.

This has got to be one of my favourite Dark Romances I’ve read and definitely had to take a few days to be able to gather my thoughts for this review.

10/10 recommend but definitely check your trigger warnings

Felix, Tyler and Harper were CHEF’S KISS!!

Skyla definitely put these 3 through a ringer and their HEA was hard fought but it was so perfectly deserved!!

Felix, truly crushed me in the beginning…He has suffered through so much and lost the two people who mean the most to him in the entire world…While his business was successful, he was just honestly going through the motions of living

Harper, that girl just honestly needed a hug and to have life give her a break…She suffered so much heartbreak and loss in her life

Tyler, this poor boy…He was just in complete turmoil over everything that happened and it was eating him alive and he never thought he would ever be free…He just wanted his happiness back in his life

The twists and turns this story took had me completely hooked!!

It pained me to see Tyler get hurt the way he did but I loved that it brought him, Harper and Felix back together!!

I loved how sexy these three are together and how pretty much nothing is off limits…The kinkier the better for them!!

Harper didn’t play when it came to her men and had no issues unleashing her rage and relishing in it which Felix and Tyler absolutely loved!!

I don’t even know where to start—I’m just so happy that Harper, Felix, and Tyler finally got their HEA. It feels like this has been a long time coming, especially after how the last book ended.
My Little Sinner by Skyla Summers was full of twists and turns that kept me hooked the entire time. All three characters have complicated pasts, and the way those experiences pulled them apart made their journey back to each other even more emotional.
One of my favorite parts was how Skyla built and developed the relationships between them. You could really feel how incomplete and miserable Tyler and Harper were without Felix—it added so much depth to their connection and made the reunion that much more satisfying.
There were definitely moments I didn’t see coming, but I loved how everything unfolded. In the end, everything came together in such a rewarding way, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better ending.
I also really enjoyed getting little updates on characters from the previous books—it made the world feel more connected. And that teaser at the end? I’m already excited to see where this series goes next.

“She’s unrestrained, vicious and sexy as fuck. I love this side of Harper. My perfect, violent Little Sinner.”

I have been waiting for this half of their story and I was so freaking hooked! I jumped by it. He is back to me in the favorite series the part two for the character. At 100% my favorite secret before reading my favorite sinners to understand their store as we pick up right where we left off.
I was impatiently waiting in jump right in. The The tension was instant and emotions were chaotic and messy, but I devoured this. I was instantly hooked and it was so addictive. The spicy scenes were spicing! 🥵 their connection between the three were intense raw and emotional. Their story has emotional depth and the longing and with the crime aspects. All that tension had me on the edge of my seat! I couldn’t get enough of their story and lived the HEA!
I’d 1000% recommend this read! ❤️‍🔥🥵

This is book three of the Playing Favorites series! You get to follow Tyler, Harper and Felix! This is a part two for these characters so I recommend reading the book “My Favorite Secret” first! We left off with our main characters torn and broken. This was the PERFECT follow up to part one! I couldn’t wait for the part to come out because part one left me wanting so much more. I devoured this book! The drama, suspense and the spice!!!! Skyla knows how to write a hot/ spicy novel because this was jam packed with it! Miss Harper didn’t play around this book and I’m so here for it! I think out of all the characters her growth was my favorite because you pretty much was like you don’t get to eff with what’s mine anymore. Their story was definitely a journey but it was so entertaining!

I need more Killian! ASAP, please 😬😅

What an amazing continuation of the Blackwood family lives!!

You need to read My Favorite Secret before this book. To really enjoy the whole story you should start with My Favorite Girl & My Favorite Sin to get Dan & Ally’s story.

My Favorite Sinners is the second book of Felix, Tyler & Harper’s story. These three have been part of each others lives since they were kids. They have a secret scar they all share that binds them together until the events of My Favorite Secret unfold. Now Felix won’t talk to either of them. My heart broke for Felix. Seeing his life years later was a special kind of anguish to read. Tyler & Harper have their own issues that will break your heart. But don’t worry.. we go through being broken to be put back together in the best way. The healing is emotional and spicy!

I loved getting to see Dan & Ally’s wedding preparations and how the family adjusted to the different situations that keep happening to them.

Felix is my favorite but the three are perfect together “It’s the three of us. Always.”

I cannot wait for Killian’s story!

Review- Advanced copy received from Author.

First, I’d like to say Thank you to Skyla , for giving me the chance to leave an ARC review. I was dying to finish this story.

Woah… Let’s start off with that Dedication!

This is book # 4 in the Playing Favorites series and the second book for Tyler, Felix and Harper. You’ll definitely want to read “My Favorite Secret” First. You need- WaNT all the back story.

This book picks ip right where it left off. It was kinda shocking at first, that Tyler let Harper were broken up and that he lets her go so easily.
You quickly dive in to Felix”a life and where he is and how everything has affected him. Truth be told they all aren’t doing so well without each other.

I loved the atmosphere of the Scarlet Mirage. It just added an extra layer of world building that’s consumes you. It’s the atmosphere that is Felix. His world, in depth.

I love that we get to see more of Dan and Allie! Their wedding and their world being intertwined. Harper and Allie needed a strong female bond.

This book has everything! Tension, love, spice… all the spice. There is a lot of emotion that happens. Trust and loyalty, forgiveness. Being hurt by people you care about but also being open minded enough to see truth behind actions.

Second Chance, morally gray men, taboo relationship…. The Blackwood men are 🔥. They prove the bond between brothers is unlike no other. Both strong, protective and wild.

Harper is one lucky lady and completely unhinged herself.

Dan was my favorite, but Felix….

A wild ride that will definitely stay with you.
