Now Juno is reopening the case, interviewing suspects both living and dead (ghost interrogations are surprisingly tricky), dodging shadow creatures in the cemetery, and teaming up with a skeletal cat who knows where all the bones are buried!
But the deeper Juno digs, the more she uncovers something far more terrifying than the dark secret that destroyed Badger's Haze itself is about to be revealed.
Can one magical cat and her bony sidekick solve a century-old conspiracy before the shadows strike again?
A spooky, funny, thrilling paranormal mystery with a quirky skeletal cat, ghostly interviews, cemetery battles, and secrets that refuse to stay buried.

Juno is working hard solving cases the angels were not able to solve. This day we find poor Juno trapped by boxes that have toppled over. It is funny how she tries to have the ghosts help her. All in all, they free her, ectoplasm and dust covered. This case is the most sensitive to the angels because it is the unsolved murder of an angel. Angels can fly, but this one did not. Angels heal fast, this one did not. No one knows anything but Juno is determined to solve it all with hopes of being freed. She is able to get a demon to come to town to help. He was in the rehabilitation program Cherish was running. Does he have a secret that will unlock this case? To add more to Juno's plans the angel who banned her to Badgers Haze has come to town. A place no angels come to any more. Cythera is acting grumpier and stranger than ever, including going thru files and visiting the Cemetery keeper. What is she up to? Determination is one word that describes Juno.
Great story and good to see Cythera again, but I do miss Crimson Cove and all the rest of the misfits. Can't wait to see more of Tansy though as already I adore her. Secrets at the end were written smashingly well as it was entirely despicable. Can't wait to see if there will be more repercussions in the next book.
