What a lovely book for me to complete for my very first ARC read. 🥹
Falling Again is the embodiment of a cozy fall morning, complete with pumpkin spice lattes and waffles. It is a beautiful start to this fall season 🍁
Lorelai and Rhett are both achingly sweet, but in their respective black cat and golden retriever ways. I thoroughly enjoyed them as characters.
But for real though, I’m off to find pumpkins spice waffles.

This is a pretty short one. You can finish it in a one go.
I just loved the book so much. Omg I can't say the narration was simple yet heart touching. After reading the book, I felt I needed RHETT as my partner / boyfriend 🧡.
Grandma gives advice to granddaughter Lorelai:
"Don’t let your brain dictate your life. Sometimes, you need to let your heart take control.” I love the advice and really want to think with heart sometimes.
For someone who likes to enjoy a simple heart touching book, this is a perfect one.

Falling Again is the first novella in a soon-to-be four-book series, each installment focusing on different couples navigating love through the changing seasons in the town of Fox Hollow. Being a novella, it’s a quick, immersive read—ideal for curling up with a warm drink on a crisp fall day.
This particular book follows Lorelai and Rhett, who instantly capture your heart. They share a history—once dating, now finding their way back to each other after Lorelai returns to town after a breakup. What really stood out to me was how Lorelai’s vulnerability was handled with such care. She comes back broken and seeking help, and Rhett is the embodiment of kindness and patience, offering her the space and support she needs to heal in her own time. Their dynamic felt genuine and heartfelt, which really grounded the story.
That said, as much as I enjoyed the narrative, I did find myself wanting a little more depth and clarity around some aspects of their backstory. The reasons behind Rhett and Lorelai’s initial breakup were somewhat vague—it seemed tied to her moving away, but hints suggested there was more beneath the surface. This book had all the feels. It was raw, heartbreaking, yet so, so beautiful. By the end of the prologue, I was already bawling my eyes out! So much thought was put into this story. There was a lot of depth, emotion and character development.
I just wanted to give Lorelai the world's biggest hug, but at the same time, shake some sense into her! She was such a relatable character, and I could resonate with her and her thought process.
Rhett was a carpenter. The local handyman. He was so sweet, patient, and understanding! If you ever need any work doing around the house, he's your guy! Seriously, is there anything he can't fix?!!
These two were the most adorable couple ever!! Total black cat x golden retriever energy and I was loving it!! The way Lorelai made Rhett's favourite blueberry pancakes, and how they cooked for each other, taking turns using the waffle iron.
I loved the tropes, the setting, and the characters. How they were shy and a little awkward at first, after spending so many years apart. Then they rekindled their flame and grew together, stronger. Slowly, but surely. They had their moments, but they made each other feel safe and secure.

Set against the cozy backdrop of fall, it follows a younger couple as they rediscover and rekindle their love. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. It felt like wrapping yourself in a soft blanket with a cup of tea while watching the leaves change.

The coziest read perfect for Autumn! a small town Romance jam packed with sweet and tender moments, family, and the beauty of falling in love all over again. Lorelai is returning to Fox Hollow with a bruised heart, looking to start over again after her break up. She runs into her ex, a love from childhood that never really faded. Rhett is a breath of fresh air, but also a flame that threatens to burn her resolve.
She definitely had her ups and downs as she navigated what to do with her feelings. Things were comfortable and cozy, and it took Lorelai a minute to figure out what she wanted. However, Rhett was perfect in being patient with her and allowing her to make the choice on her own. Elle and A.J. did a wonderful job with this cozy story!

I absolutely loved this cozy fall read. This was a quick novella placed in a small town with a Second Chance romance.
After a heartbreak of the lifetime, Lorelei comes back to Fox Hollow and runs into her ex boyfriend Rhett. In a short time they go through a whirlwind of emotions.
They aren’t the same people they were 10 years ago when Lore left Fox Hollow. But the memories remain. I lived for the yearning and the cozy feeling that this story left behind. I cannot wait to read more and fall again. Thank you AJ and Elle for this cozy, warm and refreshing read!! I loved it!!

This was such a cosy autumn read 🥰 definitely will have you craving pumpkin spice even if you’ve not had it much or not enjoy it because of how often it’s said 😂😂
I need to move to fox hollow immediately 😍 the cutest, cosiest small town ever.
The only thing that can be improved on is the pace - if this book were longer I think it would be an easy 5 star. Unfortunately it seems like our main character fights off and on about kissing or not kissing or not thinking about the MC and I don’t enjoy not really seeing the proper character growth they deserve.
But the absolute cutest book otherwise 🥰🥰🥰

This book is going to give you all the feels! I laughed and fought tears but the end I had no choice but to shed a few!
Rhett is such a good boy lover and he was perfect. However I prefer my psycho that gives me chaos and everything, he’s still a good one.
Chapter 20.. the last half.. Que the water works!! His proposal was everything! And the wedding was perfect for them!
I loved every minute and devoured!

The perfect way to welcome in the season of pumpkin spice and everything nice is with an FMC with just enough snark to label her with "black cat energy", but she has valid reasons for sure. Lorelei is the kind of character that makes you identify with her, especially when the inner dialogue and assumptions keep her from seeing what is right in front of her...and wishing you could meet her for a latte at the coffee shop downtown.

I love love love this. By the end of it I was an emotional mess..
I can totally relate to the Female Character is this story, the feeling of not being able to love right fighting for what we really want . Fighting the inevitable Ugh this is such a beautiful novel. Makes me want to find my own Rhett .

It’s a cute fall romance that had me all in my feels! I was able to sit down and devour it in one sitting. I’m a vibes girlie and the vibes here were wonderful.
The spice level is very low, but I liked it in between the feral dark romances I’ve been reading!
They definitely did a great job with describing the settings and even with the characters’ personalities. I definitely can relate to Lorelai!

Aj Knight and Elle have portrayed such a such a powerful couple dynamic. My favorite season is Fall, and this is a great book to cozy up to with a pumpkin spice hot coffee, getting ready for the colder days. I absolutely love the way how Rhett adores Lorelai. Its a must read that will get you wanting a Rhett of your own! Happy reading!

The title could not be more fitting for this book, both literally and figuratively. This was such a cutesy and cozy fall romance book that’s both heart breaking, and endearing.
Our girl Lorelai was really going through it, from the get go. My heart was breaking for her😭 Because like, who deserves that?? NO ONE! And Rhett omggggg, he waited a literal DECADE for her. And she finally came back😭

There is kind of smut? Like.. one scene not at all detailed. So 1/5 on the spice scale. It’s also a HEA in what will be a series of interconnected standalones!
This is all the autumn vibes I was after!! Cozy, sweet, heartearming, with the cheesy side of it being a 100% hallmark-esque autumn romance story and I’m here for it!

Falling Again by A.J. Knight and Elle Violet was such a cozy fall read! 🍂 This story gave me all the warm and fuzzy Gilmore Girl vibes—small-town charm, autumn leaves, and the kind of community that makes you want to curl up with a latte and stay awhile.
I really loved the reverse grumpy/sunshine dynamic. Instead of the usual broody hero, we get the sunshiney guy paired with a heroine who’s a little prickly and guarded. Their banter felt natural, and watching their relationship unfold against the backdrop of a perfect fall setting made the romance even sweeter.
This one had me smiling, laughing, and completely wrapped up in the season. The pacing was steady, the chemistry was undeniable, and the fall feels were absolutely nailed. If you’re looking for a heartwarming romance to kick off your autumn TBR, this is the one.

I'd been looking for a good, cozy fall book for a while, and this was the perfect one! I loved the characters, the town, and the whole feel of the book. It's one that I can read again and again for years and never get tired of it! I can't wait for the official release date and get a new copy for my bookshelf! if you're looking for fall and cozy.. look no further! A.J. and Elle absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one. I instantly fell in love with the setting and all the characters. This book made me feel warm and fuzzy inside and put me in the mindset for fall. Definitely a must-read this season!
