The Chambers family are still ruling Blackpool with an iron fist on behalf of the Maguire-Laws, a powerful criminal family in the north of England. When the Maguires do a deal with the Petrovs, the Chambers siblings find themselves working for the Bulgarian Mafia instead and the leadership is thrust back onto Faith Chambers, a role she'd been glad to relinquish to her older brother, Vance.

However, there is a much more sinister plot in motion to take down Faith and her brothers and she soon discovers that her family is rotting from the inside out.

This book is part of a series and is not a stand alone novel.

Author of over seventy books so far. Living on the beautiful west coast of Scotland with my husband, twin daughters and a cat called Mavis, although I am originally from Lancashire in the north of England.

My tastes in all things are eclectic, which extends to my writing. Although I primarily write crime books - especially gangland thrillers - I also write gothic historical romance and fantasy. I publish on Amazon Kindle and some of my novels are available in paperback too. I also have a traditional publishing contract with Boldwood Books.

When I'm not writing - which isn't very often - I enjoy reading Daphne Du Maurier, Edgar Allan Poe, Shirley Jackson, MR James and the Brontes, among many others. I also enjoy swimming, walking and spending time with my family.

This series is brilliant and they leave the reader wanting more. I have now read 70 Heather Atkinson novels in several series. After leaving a story it's possible to pick up where I left off in just a few paragraphs. There's not enough days in the week to read. Loved them all.

Not that good

Not as good as she used to be , I find her books very slow and not as exciting Sergey were.
