I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record when it comes to this series and these authors but once more this was an incredibly cute and sweet book. This dystopia is not the dark and grim dystopia we're all used to. This dystopia offers hope. In this book there is a lot of hope to be found and although the novella mostly focusses on the romance and the special connection both characters have with the Cherry Blossom trees there is secretly also some world building hidden in there. We're once more getting a little more info on the magic of the teawitches, we're learning about Dryad's and their place in this world and we also learn a little more about Mother Nature and what life is like when living in her oasis. I can't wait to discover more about the world in the next installment.
Adventures await! As do new friends, a new atmosphere, a new life. And love…? Our environment has a huge impact on our wellbeing…cognitively, emotionally, physically. People need to connect with each other, but we cannot do that if we’re stifled like Lila and Eloise were at Grower’s Cove. I’m so happy that they found their safe space at Purple Oak Oasis.
This describes the entire series perfectly! ‘So, this was what kind of place Purple Oak was. A place where people gave.’
May we all find our place in the world where we can bloom and prosper.
I received a free copy from the author and voluntarily reviewed it.
I really like this reworked series Purple Oak Oasis, I liked the original version of this series, but this new one which changed the genre to cozy fantasy is even better. The Cherry Dryad's Blossoms is the fourth book in this series. I hadn't read this book yet back in the old version of this series, so this story was completely new to me.
I really enjoyed The Cherry Dryad's Blossom. In book 2 Purple Oak Oasis and Grower's Cove signed a treaty and it was nice to see how this book continued that plot line with Lila being a worker from Grower's Cove send to Purple Oak Oasis to help create the tea plantations there. And she falls for Grey Steeper who is family of Hana from The Tea Witch's Secret. This one also had mentions of the couple of book 1. I quite like the continuity in this series and how previous couples make appearances and some plot line continue throughout the series, but each book still works as a standalone.
I felt bad for Lila and her best friend as they didn't seem to have had a good life in Grower's Cove, but I was excited as I knew Purple Oak Oasis is a nice place and they would probably have a better life there. I enjoyed seeing Lila discover what Purple Oak Oasis has to offer and see the town from the point of view of someone who didn't grow up there, which makes the whole town and community feel even more cozy and supportive. I liked reading more about her being a dryad as well and how she connects with the cherry trees in Purple Oak Oasis.
Lila's romance with Grey was lovely to see. I liked how they meet under the cherry trees and how they both care for the trees. I liked seeing them grow closer and fall in love. I would've loved an epilogue and see whether Lila gets to stay here, but with the way this series works the endings seem all slightly open and hopefully we see more of them in future books. I thought these two were very cute together and I liked their romance.
Grey's family came from outside Purple Oak Oasis too and I liked how this connected them and gave them an unique perspective on living there. I did wish the authors made up their own culture and language as I always find that more interesting in fantasy worlds than when they just reuse real life ones.
To summarize: I really enjoy this series and this was another great read. It is a fun and cozy read and I read in just a few sittings. I liked reading about Lila who comes to Purple Oak Oasis from Grower's Cove, where she didn't have a good life and things improve for her now. I liked reading about her being a dryad and how she connects with the cherry trees. I liked her romance with Grey and how both care about these trees and that's how they meet at first. They were sweet together and I enjoyed reading about them. I did wish for a few more scenes at the end, but I hope we see more of them in future books. I also would've liked actual made up cultures and languages instead of the way real life ones got used for this fantasy world now. I look forward to the next book.
Lila is a cherry tree dryad without a home tree due to the politics of her hometown who goes as a part of a delegation to an allied town to work on their tea garden. There, she meets Grey, a healer who is part of the noble families of Purple Oak and must face her past of being abandoned by her rich father if she wishes for her relationship with the nobleman to work out.
This was a sweet character-driven fantasy romance novella with a satisfying ending. The dystopia that Lila comes from was inventive, and I loved reading about the heartwarming culture of Purple Oak Oasis. Lila and Grey are both wonderful characters, and the side characters of the novel (Lila's best friend and Oak's aunts) are diverse, with all of them being sapphic. The friendship between Lila and her best friend and fellow dryad is sweet and supportive, and I enjoyed reading about the inventive tea-based magic system in this book. The contrast between the dystopian town of Grower's Cove and the cozy interconnected town of Purple Oak was well-done, and the way Lila had to overcome her fear that everyone in Purple Oak would treat her poorly was initially sad but overall sweet and well done.
Thank you to Ariana Jade and Laura Greenwood for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
Nature is meant to be wild and free and accessible Remember when watching clouds move was fascinating? When, in ‘Grandma's old wisdom’, we were told to take ‘time to appreciate the beautiful things in life’? So... tomorrow, I'm gonna take the authors' advice and stop at one of our many local places on the way home from a doctor’s appointment. The beautiful drive through the hills has many archeological sites, memorials, overlooks, parks, reserves, springs, trails – which should I choose?
I appreciate how the author used one of the male characters to point out the importance of males being sensitive to trust issues. In this case, he is mindful that females need to feel safe around men with whom they are barely acquainted. Most importantly, that it is HIS responsibility to provide that environment by making good choices.
When people start sharing food, there’s hope for the present. When they start dating and committing to each other, there’s hope for a future.
May we all have abundance to share, people with whom to share it, and the wisdom to know that special occasions happen in the ordinary.
I loved reading The Cherry Dryad 's Blossom. I really loved the direction this novel went in and the introduction of new characters and following their move to Purple Oak made for a fantastic read. I loved Lila as soon as we met her, there was something about her that I instantly liked. I thought her interactions were all really sweet especially when she was looking for a cherry blossom of her own. I loved her interactions with the other characters too. I love Grey, again just something about him grabbed me. I think it must be how sweet he is and I loved his interactions with Lila. I love POO series so much, I always look forward to reading the next one in the series. No matter what's going on they're so cosy and they give you a sense of wholesomeness with a pinch of spice. If you need a series to easily get lost in, with fantastic writing that grips you from start to finish then this series is for you.
This is a story of a cherry tree dryad who was forbidden to even touch a cherry tree in her town because of her father. After her mother died she and her good friend applied and were sent to Purple Oak as laborers. There much to her surprise and delight she finds two cherry trees that aren’t claimed and a tea witch who tells her it’s okay to bond with them. She does and one tree that hasn’t bloomed in years starts to bud along with the other one.
It’s a story of shared love of the trees and a romance that sparks because of their shared love.
I really enjoyed this sweet story of an outcast from her own village who found love and two home trees she could call home after being denied that opportunity where she came from due to societal prejudice.
I heartily recommend this book as one I think you’ll enjoy!
This was a great book with a plot and story line that was full of thought and creative ideas. I quickly became fully invested in both MCs (Grey & Lila) as they cared for the Cherry Blossom trees. The development of these two, and their independent reasons for wanting to see the trees revitalized, was conveyed with wonderful clarity and description. It left me feeling as if I was there witnessing the progression of their relationship (with eachother and the tree).
This is one book in a series, and while I encourage you to read the entire series (it is fabulous), you can read this as a stand-alone and be perfectly happy. I did receive an ARC, but I intend to purchase it for my library for rereading at a later time.
Past and future bring our hero and heroine together under the cherry blossoms, but this might just be the start of something more. Perhaps a future together.
This book is part of a series, but it is written as a standalone. No issues there.
This is a paranormal romance with a post-apocalypse setting. As I expect from these authors, the story is well written and easy to read. The setting is well done, if a bit grim (see post-apocalypse). The characters are also well done and very enjoyable. I really enjoyed watching our characters find common interests. Overall, I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading others in the series.
Highly recommended.

Lila is a Dryad who finds herself on loan to the Purple Oasis from Grower’s Cove. Lila is at Grower’s Cove in the hopes that her magic will help the trees blossom. Cherry Blossom trees are her favorite of which she hasn’t seen in some time and she finds them at Grower’s Grove. Grey is a Tea Witch. When Grey sees Lila he is very much interested. These two are great together. Hopefully Lila’s magic will work on the trees and they will blossom just as things are blossoming between herself and Grey. This is the final book in the “Purple Oasis Series.” This was entertaining series that I enjoyed reading.
I received an ARC via Booksprout and I am leaving my review voluntarily.
I liked this story cus of the series. It has love, friendships & more in all of them. I like how this story was told in both of the characters thoughts & feelings. It's a very sweet story & I am loving each & every one of them. Lila came to the Oasis to find her tree. This tree is a cherry blossom. Grey has been at the Oasis for a few years helping out wherever he could until Lila came & they fell in love with each other. Between both of them, the trees will live alot longer with their magic combined.
Thanks to Laura, Ariana & Booksprout for the opportunity to read & review this story.

‘The Cherry Dryad’s Blossom’ is quite possibly the gentlest love story I have ever read. Grey and Lila are two incredibly kind, thoughtful beings around Purple Oak Oasis. This is a story that is more character than plot driven—and I don’t mind even a little. Still a great book.

These are two authors that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. I enjoy their creative plots and characters that pop off the pages. I also enjoy their attention to details that make the story realistic. This is a well written story about one meeting under a cherry blossom tree. A story about looking for memories and a search for home. I found this story to be cute and I loved the characters and what they add to the story. There is great growth of the plot throughout that made the story hard to put down. I also found this story fast paced and easy to read. I look forward to seeing what is next for this author. I highly recommend this must read paranormal story.
Lila is on loan to Purple Oasis from Grower’s Cove. As a dryad, her magic can help the tree orchard at the Oasis flourish but her real love is cherry blossom trees. They only have blossoms, no fruit, so it is unlikely she will ever see one again. When she hears of one in the Oasis, she needs to see it for herself. It turns out that dryads aren’t the only ones who appreciate them.
This is a short, sweet novella. I received a free copy of this book but my review is honest and voluntary.

Grey is a tea witch and also loves the cherry blossom trees. Together they find skyrocket igniting and similar causes. Loved the characters, their entertaining situations, personalities, hopes and dreams. Totally enjoyed the story and it is a perfect addition to a wonderful series.

Lila is a dryad who feels her magic when she is beside a cherry blossom tree, and she can’t believe it when she finds out that there are some in Purple Oasis. Grey is a tea witch who has been dreaming about having some Sakura blossoms to make the special tea his Grandmother, who was Japanese, taught him how to make. The story is short but very sweet. I just loved this series as the books are short but very entertaining. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lila comes to The Purple Oasis in search of a home - and cant beleive that they have cherry trees there! Grey has looked after the trees and tried to get them to blood - when these two meet, it really is a meeting of more than the minds. I love these stories - short and easy to read, gorgeous characters - and story lines that always bring a smile to my face!.

A sweet cute short romance story. Sometimes even in post apocalyptic times you have to stop and appreciate the beauty of the world around you. The importance of this is not lost on our two main characters both looking for something that’s been missing and who work together towards restoring some Cherry Blossom trees and in the process find love.

Sweet story about finding your place in the world... apocalypse or not everyone likes to feel like they belong somewhere in life. Cherry blossoms are beautiful when they blossom, too bad they weren't fruit bearing, Lila and Grey make a good couple. The Purple Oasis has a wonderful affect on people. Love sneaks up on Lila and Grey. Looking forward to more Purple Oasis! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lila is a dryad who has come to Purple Oasis from Grower’s Cove. Although her purpose for being sent here is to let her magic influence the tree orchard there, her passion is cherry blossom trees. There is little likelihood of finding one here. But at the Oasis, Lila finds her beloved cherry blossom tree and something else very special. Tea witch Grey meets Lila and the two of them are drawn to each other. What will the future bring for them?
Lila is a dryad and Grey is a tea witch and they meet over Cherry blossom trees. Lila is sent to Purple Oasis to help the orchard with her magic and ends up finding love too. I always enjoy reading books in this series. Watching everyone come together to rebid their world after the apocalypse that took most of it away.
The main characters in this one is a tea witch and a dryad. Through the love of cherry blossom trees, we see that the tree isn't the only thing that is allowed to bloom. Warm and fuzzy feelings all throughout this one, happiness for many is guaranteed.

This is a quick, easy read. I liked Lila’s description of the Purple Oasis, “Vibrant”, that does describe it in one word. This story made me think, what if we were at a time when ornamental trees were deemed unnecessary, what a shame it would be to lose the cherry blossom trees. I did enjoy this story and all the other purple oasis stories. I would recommend reading this book.

Peaceful and sweet Not what you would typically expect from a post-apocalyptic book! But that’s just what this story is. Grey and Lila meet and bond over a shared love for cherry blossom trees. This is s light and easy read with lots of sweetness and no conflict. Just right for an afternoon read!.

Searching for a place to call home after the apocalypse is not easy. But being at the oasis might be the right spot. Reading about the pain and rebuilding after an apocalypse is sad but gives us hope. Shows that there are people still in this world that are good.

Lila is a dryad and has come to the purple oasis to help them with her magic in the orchard. Grey is a tea witch and has been waiting for the trees to bloom and when they do he finds Lila his perfect match with the trees. It’s a sweet romance and they make a wonderful couple and in a dystopian style world, love brings us all hope!
