I didn't think this one could live up to Book 1 with the werewolf, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I was expecting a very commanding BDSM alpha bear character, which frankly would have been a fine thing in this book, but Blake wrote this one differently and I liked how it deviated from the expected stereotype I had in my head.

I would love to see some of these small short stories expanded out later either with the same duo or with the monster. I think the characters overall are pretty good for short stories.

This is tagged as romance, but it is not. It is a simple steamy meet-up. So if you are up for a short, steamy quickie, this is the right choice for you.

I feel like this book is very similar to the other previous three. I don't really feel that there is a difference in writing. The characters are different but the descriptions of the spicy scenes are the same or very similar. I don't think I will continue with the rest of the series but I may return to it later on.
