I’m still reading Homefirst, but wow, this book already has me checking myself. It’s such a real reminder of how easy it is to fall into routine, like praying, reading, and doing all the “right” things, without really sitting with God to connect. Dr. Shenica Nelson’s words challenge me to slow down, breathe, and make space for God to meet me where I am. It’s helping me remember to stop striving and start truly living a Christ-centered life.
