But that’s the thing about bad boys; they always make it way too easy to forget who they really are underneath.
He’s loud, cocky, infuriating, and somehow, the only boy who has ever made me feel seen.
Until I overheard the truth.
Two hundred dollars that he could get me into his bed before the year ends. A bet. That’s all I am to him.
So I tried to ignore him, but Reece Wilson always finds a way, and now he’s everywhere—smirking in the hallways, showing up unexpectedly, acting like the bet never existed.
Reece has always played to win, and this time, I’m the prize he refuses to lose.
Loved it. I was so looking forward to this book. Loved the first one, but I feel this one is better than the first one. Love Reece and Sam. Can't wait for Lola and Jace.
Book 2 focuses on Reece and Sam. Reece was once a football star but now is one of the bad boys of the school while Sam is a good student and perfect daughter crumbling under those expectations. When they are paired up for a project they uncover the deeper meaning behind the surface. However a bet that was made threatens to drive them apart.
It was a great book but sometimes a lot of the internal dialogue is heavy for high school age students.
Thank you to Eve Campbell for the ARC Copy in exchange for my honest review.
Except for the drama bit that broke them up - that one somehow made no sense. Kind of similar to Jace and Lola's story- the breakup thing was weak and made no sense at that point.
Shes a slow burn but a raging inferno... Red has no idea just how much she ruins him. Sam and Reece's story is full of angst, spice, burning emotions, what starts off as a bet becomes so much more with the girl he has never been able to get out of his head since that first kiss.
