Wow, this audiobook was such a fun experience! I blushed more times than I can count and laughed in unexpected & questionable moments lol but it was so worth it.

This mafia romance feels like walking into a room you had no business being in, yet somehow having the time of your life. Mafia vibes and baking in one story? Didn’t expect that at all, but I’m here for it 😂 Ruby you’ve got me as a forever fangirl I’m truly obsessed with this! And your storytelling

It’s an easy 5 stars from me. The plot, twists, character development, and narration everything worked together perfectly. The audio especially is a masterpiece, I still can’t believe I got to experience it as an ALC 🤯

Ruby gives you everything from spice, found family, banter and more!. The characters MMC & FMC especially will win you over, Joe and Amy’s narration brings it all to life beautifully.

Sabrina is thrust into an arranged marriage that her dad setup because he owed Maksim $3.3M. Yep you read that right. Even though Sabrina had a career as an attorney her father knew that if he arranged her to be married, he could satisfy the debt and offer something that Maksim wouldn't get unnless he married Sabrina. 

What Sabrina doesn't want is for Parker to leave her side anytime soon. He has been by her side from the worst time in her life. She has some trauma from her past that she tries to so hard to navigate but barely scrapes by. With the way that she tries to do everything to keep her mental health on the precipace is a huge undertaking. She has gloves and certain fabrics she can't touch. Throughout the book you see how this affects her. When she gets overwhelmed she breaks out in hives and shuts down. I felt sooo much while reading this part of her life. She had been through something so traumatic that it was decimating her bit by bit. 

Parker, or Savage, as he is referred to freuqently is the one that has been by her side in order to keep her not only safe but also help her navigate the world that she walks. I love that there is a relationship like theirs, because you are able to see a love that so many people will never experience. It wasn't an out loud love. Parker didn't require that of Sabrina.

Once Sabrina and Maksim are married it becomes a terrain that she hasn't treversed. But once they are all able to see that they could make their triangle work, it is on and popping!! I loved seeing their dynamic work and how happy she was! They were able to help her bring her true self out with the help of her therapist! I love that she went to therapy in order to help her mental health and embrace the woman that she is. Like so many women she struggles to loook at herself and love what she sees! Her trauma threatens her daily but she refuses to let it win!

I loved this dark and enticing romance that brings soo much more to the table! This does end in a cliffhanger, but will continue in book 2! I cannot wait to get my ears and eyes the conclusion!

Sabrina, Maksim and Parker were a trio that truly worshipped each other! They were so willing to bend and try everything they could together. These were some of the hottest group scenes I have ever read! I loved hearing them together and the banter that they kept going. I didn't think the spice could be this spicy, but it was soooo good!

Scream by THE, Ruby M Darling, is one of the best books I’ve devoured this year. I must say, Ruby, you know how to write the perfect man… or in the case, ‘men.’ Holy hell ma’am! The suspense, sass, entertainment, plot, and character development… this book had it all. Dare I forget the spice. If I could rate higher than a five-star, I would! Oh, and the audiobook! H-E-L-L-O… Did you see the voice actors? Yep… Amy Hall and Joe Arden. All the YES’s for these two! Their acting was next level. The immense talent… and passion they portrayed. At certain times, I felt I was intruding on our little trio. They went above and beyond with this one.

SABRINA is the type of person I would be friends with. She is loyal, fierce and loves big. She’s protective and cares about others. Her friendship with Raven is pure and carefree. Her disorders and fears only make her stronger, as she pushes to be better and overcome them. Plus, all that sassiness… she’s my kind of girl. Ruby wrote Sabrina with so much thought and care… she’s relatable and likable. I knew her story was going to fire from the little bits we got in Raven’s books (Speak and Stutter) … what I didn’t know, was how much I was going to adore her. Out of all the FMC’s I’ve read about; she is my absolute favorite.

Scream is entertaining, funny, full of angst and surprises and spicy. This may be one of the spiciest books I’ve read this year. And that’s OK. I am all for it, especially when you have MMC’s like Parker and Maksim 😮‍💨🔥 For crying out loud, these men are the definition of perfection. One is beautiful and gentle with a seductive southern drawl while the other is tall, dark, and deadly, just the way we like them *hums deep in thought. *

I cannot recommend this book enough. There were times I literally could not stop listening. The story is entertaining and somewhat addictive. That ending though! I should have known. And now, I sit here… waiting (not so patiently) for the next book.

This book was already such a great ride. All this audio did was take it to the next level. When you already have great material, the audiobook is bound to be amazing. But with these 2 narrators you get a masterpiece! @therealjoearden and @amyhallnarrates did absolutely amazing as Sabrina and her guys.

Parker has my whole heart. Not to say Maksim isn’t amazing as well. And Sabrina is such a strong powerful character. She went through something absolutely atrocious and fights EVERYDAY to be alive. Parker sees her, helps her, loves her silently. But Maksim falls fast. He is determined to make her love him as well. I think this is for everyone. It’s Mafia, bodyguard, why choose, forced marriage, everything you could want. If you read Speak and Stutter you won’t want to miss this! It will give you a peek at Raven and her guys as well.

Guys RUN!! Don’t walk!! Audio is out today and these 2 narrators absolutely nailed it. They did absolutely amazing jobs!! I am continually impressed with the quality of Joe and I’m not sure if I’ve listened to Amy before but she was brilliant as Sabrina. Highly recommend this audiobook!!

5 ⭐️ Wow!! I 👀 eyeball read this book earlier this year and had the incredible opportunity of listening to the audiobook performance as an ALC.

To start, I’m obsessed with this story. The MFM tension that Ruby built in the story is genius. The spice is hot and heavy but it’s not undeserved. These three characters are so hot together and it’s written in a way where you never feel like any character is getting the short end of the stick. Sharing is literally caring, and it’s sexy.

Since I already knew I’d love this story, the only thing that would elevate it further is HEARING IT come to life by Blue Nose Audio’s production team. They NEVER disappoint. In this instance, Joe Arden is a total chameleon giving us an incredibly vast and creative array of characters’ voices and when Maksim and Parker are speaking to Sabrina…. You feel like these characters are speaking directly to you. Impeccable. Let’s not forget Amy Hall’s amazing performance. When I first read Scream, Sabrina sounded a little less refined in my head than Amy voices her. But as soon as I began this AB, Amy’s interpretation of this character was EVERYTHING I didn’t know this character needed. Amy’s performance of the guarded and poised heiress while also wanting to be a spicy girl closed doors for her boys hit spectacularly. I felt all her emotions. Literal *chef’s kiss*

Absolutely freaking loved it! Ruby M. Darling has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Each book I’ve listened to, I’ve loved more than the last. The way her stories pull you in from start to finish and leave you dying for the next book is great. I loved the story of Sabrina and her guys. The way Parker and Maxsim stepped up to care for and help Sabrina through the horrible that happened to her had my heart. The chemistry and tensions between them was great. The dirty talk and spice that was defiantly spicin… so good! 🥵🔥 I loved that the characters from Speak and Stutter were in this some. Those characters along with the ones in this story are some of the best. If you don’t want to scream at times during this you will by the end. The cliffhanger this ends on… OMG! 😳😮😬

The narration performed by Joe Arden and Amy Hall was so good! They way they can capture characters and their personalities is amazing and definitely showcased in this book. Listening to the audio you definitely get the feel of the story and the depth of emotions the characters have. They brought the characters and this story to life so well!

This is a solid start to (what I assume will be) another duet in the Rayne-Moore world. Plot-wise, it's completely separate from Speak and Stutter, so it can be read by itself.

Our main characters are Sabrina, Maksim, and Parker. Sabrina has heavy, fairly recent trauma and Parker (her bodyguard) has been in love with her for years but kind of powerless to help her. She's arranged to marry Maksim and Parker goes with her when she moves in with him, creating a trio.

I will say the organized crime aspect felt a little weird to me; maybe it's because it wasn't a central component of the story like it is in most organized crime books, but it felt kind of like an afterthought. Not a big deal, though, because it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story.

Characters from Speak and Stutter get pretty substantial "screen time" in this installment, and we even get a bit of an epilogue for them in the background of the story.

This world is so underrated, I really hope it gets more attention in the future.

How these books get even better in audio is beyond me? I mean, HEARING Sabrina, Parker, and Maks come to life is unreal, but the spice? The FEELINGS?? I die. FULL RTC



After alpha, beta, and ARC reading Sabrina and her men, I was sure there was no way I could love these three more than I already did, I was wrong. Because HEARING it in audio? Hearing it com to life? Brought this story to a whole new level.

Listening to Joe Arden bring a growly, grumpy Maks, and a sweet, tender, caring Parker to life was something truly special.

I couldn’t have asked for a better voice for Sabrina than Amy Hall. Hands down, my favorite narrator, and the way she brought my pretty in pink but sad girl to my ears? Was everything. Absolutely everything.

Both of them had me laughing out loud for most of this book, in my feels for some, and GAGGED over the spice for the entirety of this audiobook. If you know, you know. Piercings. That’s all I’ll say 😅

This was a wonderful story with very intriguing plot and amazing characters.

Sabrina is a very interesting character and Amy Hall was fantastic in this role. Her performance was true to Sabrina's effort to control everything, including her own emotions. Even though the performance was measured, and controlled, Amy Hall made me connect with the character and care about her.

Maksim is the confident, used to getting things his way mafia boss - but he is a lot more complex than that. He has insecurities and fears. It was fascinating to watch him fall in love and discover his own feelings.
Parker is the bodyguard and is an amazing character with his absolute devotion and loyalty to Sabrina, and the way he put her needs first every single time, so he could care for her and protect her in the best possible way.

Joe Arden was amazing as both Maksim and Parker. He did an incredible job at portraying the strong mafia boss and seamlessly weaving into that the bits of vulnerability and emotions in a way that quickly made me fall in love with the character. As for Parker - he gave him a sweet accent and wonderfully showed his feelings for Sabrina. The scene with the most powerful performance in the whole book is Parker's (in chapter 11). Both characters sound different, each of them with his own voice and personality, as if the performance is not from one actor.

The combination of the amazing writing and fantastic performance made this audiobook an incredible experience

I seriously am not ok with the ending. I am in literal Literary distress. Ruby, you really ripped my heart out several times in this one. At the end, I had 3 minutes left, thinking it was just the chapter, but it was the whole book and I am devastated book 2 isn't available yet. I need it like I need coffee every day. Like humans need water to survive. This RH was EVERYTHING. I mean EVERYTHING. A hot body guard? Check. A Mafia Boss, also check. A smart, capable, morally gray FMC, who is looking to eradicate her past. This book hit me so hard I didn't see it coming. I can't wait for book 2 so I can continue on with this extremely hot storyline.

This one had me sucked in from the very beginning! The deep trauma in Verity and the way she had to cope was written so well...so relatable. She also had such tremendous growth thanks to Parker and Maksim. All the characters were great by themselves...but together?! Ugh I am just so obsessed with them together. All the feels with this one. So much love, so much spice, so much growth. Loved it so much!

I only finished this the first time less than 2 weeks ago and yet hearing a few clips of the audio book sucked me right back in for a re listen already, easily in my top 5 books of this year if it isn't hands down my favourite (and I'm on over 200 books so far) Sabrina, Parker and Maksim are just 💗I love the story, hate the cliffhanger (just because I'm far too impatient to know what happens next in this series) and the audio book narration is perfection!

Ruby does it again!! She has become one of my favorite authors! Sabrina's struggles regarding her past assault (leaving her feeling dirty) her with coping mechanisms- wearing gloves to avoid physical touch, baking, reading as an escape. due to her fathers debts she is entered into a marriage of convenience with Maksim who is "Th Devil of New York" - her only stipulation- she retains her bodyguard Parker (who cares for her deeply)! Ill make this short but you can imagine Maksim did not anticipate a love triangle (MFM) but he and Parker work together to make the relationship to help Sabrina heal past traumas. This book does end with a cliffhanger and I cannot wait for the next book!
