Louie ~
Have you ever felt that there was something inside of you that you couldn't control? You just hit an imaginary limit and then it's like something takes hold of you to the point you don't even recognize yourself? Ever since I could remember, I've had a short fuse, hot temper, and was always quick to violence. But could you expect anything less? Ever since I could remember, people were always voicing their opinion of me, which was pretty much that I'd never amount to anything. I wasn't smart enough to get into college, I wasn't tough enough to be a Marine, and I would never make anything out of my life. I'd either die young or be in prison - that was my future.

My dad was all I had in my life, my only constant. He always told me to turn the other cheek, that people would say or think what they wanted, but that didn't mean that it was true. My dad taught me how to fight and how to be a man. He always said in order to find out what you live for, you have to find what you'd die for. He was the only person who ever truly believed in me…until I met Harlow. But is she my reason to live and what I'd die for?

Harlow ~
My whole life has been a battle. I grew up in the system, bouncing from one foster home to the other. Most weren't that bad, but some of the places I was sent to was like walking through the gates of Hades. The one thing that stayed the same was that never was there a family who took me in because they actually wanted me there. It was always because they got something out of deal, which was usually money, but sometimes it was other things. They got sympathy points from the community and brownie points from the state.

The only good thing in all of this was that I wasn't alone. My twin brother, Hendrix, was always beside me through everything. Even though he was only a few minutes older, he acted like he was years my senior. There was never a time that he wasn't there for me when I needed him, never a time he wasn't there to offer me words of advice or encouragement, and there was never a time he put himself before me. He always told me that even though people may judge us, that we should never do that the same. He said that life is tough for everyone, not just us. You just have to roll with the punches and wait out the storm. But what happens when life throws you in a tail spin and you lose focus of what's important in life?

When Louie releases his monster and Harlow finally faces what life has thrown her way, will they both lose themselves to their anger and pain…or risk it all Defying Destiny.

Born Into Destiny
Defying Destiny

Book One gives us Danielle and Zanes story. We meet the two main characters while they are in their early years. While holding onto each other and being inseparable a terrible event takes place crushing their road together to a road of broken and separate travels. Danielle’s life is changed forever leaving her hardened and sporting jagged edges. She meets Mack, the President of the Forsaken Sinners MC while staying across from his tattoo shop. Needing a better place to stay other than the motel she is currently seeking shelter in; she takes the room available at the tattoo shop. Coming into her own years later she hears the voice of a man who left her wounded and on her own …. How can this be the same person she lost so long ago and why does he have no idea who she is.

Fighting Destiny
This is the second release in the Forsaken Sinners MC series. Both of these characters suffered from emotional and physical abuse. Beware if you have triggers. Toby and Sara. Sara is running from her past of abuse from boyfriend. A man who took things from her she cannot replace. Refusing to be a victim any longer she hopes she can run far enough away from the monster that threatens to control her. Sara needs to learn how to defend herself just in case he comes to find her or her current job puts her in the line of fire. Sara refuses to ever be a victim again. Being in control is something she needs for herself to make it through healing from her past. Toby helps his trainer out at the gym, does some underground fighting and is a member of the FS. Dani and Blaze are happy and Toby wonders if he can have the same thing they do. Both fought to survive and came back from the dark so maybe he can too. The secondary story in this release deals with some members not agreeing due to an incident which I believe leaves a prologue and a sneak peek into our next release.

Born Into Destiny
This is a continuation; a short novella of Danielle and Zane; expecting parents. Dani isn’t sure of how she is going to handle motherhood but Zane knows she will be fantastic. In usual form Zane is behaving like an obsessed man after finding out his girlfriend is pregnant. He isn’t allowing her to do anything or much less even act like a functioning person. When in old friend comes back into Dani’s life things start to get a little interesting. Zane seems to not be where he says he is going to be and secrets start to unfold. The toll on the relationship hasn’t even begun yet .. you thought it did in their release but nothing like what we see here. Not to give anything away you are going to be frustrated and think Dani and Zane are never going to get it right …. Keep turning the pages and don’t hold your breath because it’s a wild one.

Defying Destiny
Louie is trying to control his demons. His father has been his guide and now that he has been taken from him there is no way to control what lies beneath the surface. Finding the man responsible for taking his only solace away will be the last thing he does no matter where it lands him. Harlow fought the system moving from place to place never wanted. The only person that kept her going was her twin brother Hendrix. He was always looking out for her but now he is gone. She wont forget and she certainly wont forgive. Being alone she is tainted and the world is black to her. There is no light and no hope. Two lost souls need to find their way out together and hope they can help each other heal in the third release. Stories need to be put to rest and chapters need to be turned and ended .. doing it is going to be very complicated and brutal.

This was a pretty good series. The characters were fairly well written and the story lines were good. We get to revisit old friends in the books and continue with the stories of the member of the MC we have already met in some form. All of the characters have some sort of brutal past they are trying to overcome or something they are fighting for. If you are an MC fan go ahead and click this series up. Give the first book a whirl and if you enjoy them click up the rest. They are all free on Kindle Unlimited. The next release is Owning Destiny which is Macks story.

Ok I’ve read this series and I literally inhale these books ... 4.5 stars!! The characters were relatable and the storyline was amazing 😉 i just seem to get invested into everyone’s characters and I can’t help but love this crew and their flaws but let me tell you no weak women here and lots of alphas to stir up trouble!

Harlow and Louie couldn't have been more suited in my opinion. Louie has a temper and that is saying it lightly but he has been the character that I really wanted to know more about. I loved him! He is the perfect man in that when tragedy come he really shows his darker side but there is such a heart deep within him that you can't wait for him to show it more. Harlow has just come back to town after being gone for two years and just needs to start over. I really loved that this was so mysterious her reason for leaving is and how much it has affected her as person. It was simply wonderfully written. This was my favorite of the series so far and I must say that Shelly Morgan has done a phenomenal job of creating these characters that I can't seem to get enough of. Each book simply got better and better and each character that you meet you can't wait for their story or to find out more about them in future books.

A sinfully delicious New Adult MC Romantic Suspense. That truly holds up the ideas of mystery, suspense, drama, action, and romance. I must go back to the beginning and read each one with the care that I have put into getting to know these two characters. I was enraptured by the world given to me and wanted to take a ride on the wild side and see for myself the life in these pages.

Harlow and Louie have a past that can only be overcome with time and support. With neither willing to let anyone in it makes things difficult. But what they soon discover that family can mean more than by blood.

Shelly Morgan has opened me up to a new series that will surely captivate my heart. I loved this book. The read took me on an adrenaline and emotional high. And I had the pleasure of interview this wonderful author. Interview located @ my link text

Exciting MC read. Loved these characters. Louie and Harlowe work so well together you can't help but love them together. Harlowe is back and Louie knows he will do whatever he is necessary to make sure she doesn't run again. She's different though and getting her to open and say why she left and what has her so troubled isn't easy but Louie is determined. Once she opens up and lets her secrets out it lets her open her heart and accept everything Louie is offering.

Good book, good series. I definitely recommend both.

Wow

I really enjoyed this book I never thought Louie story would be so damn sad and I really enjoyed seeing how he got with the MC. Harlows story was just heartbreaking. The things she went through my lord. And the Titus scene she's a strong woman.

so so

Decided to try another book by this author but feel the female characters resemble each other, put themselves into dangerous situations. Plus mc seems a bit inaffective and retribution never really seems to happen. Anyway Ive tried and will go back to other authors.

Defying Destiny by Shelly Morgan was a great 5 star read.

This is Harlow and Louie’s story.

Louie is a member of the MC and is struggling with dark demons. He lost his father at a young age which turned everything upside down for him. He has an extreme temper. He is a very private person and it takes a lot for him to let people in.

Harlow hasn’t had an easy life. My heart really went out to her. When she meets Louie you can feel the instant connection.
When Harlow comes back to the club after being gone for 2 years Louie tries to help her move forward. Something traumatic has happened to Harlow and she is trying to put herself back together. Will Louie be able to help her? Will they get their HEA?

I really enjoyed Defying Destiny. Shelly Morgan has done a great job with this whole series. I have enjoyed every book so far and they keep getting better. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series. You will encounter several emotions and some great steamy scenes. I highly recommend this MC series. They can all be read as stand alones but you should start from the beginning. Thank you again for a great read.

This has been a good series, but this one was quite violent, very graphic, not a lot of love and female lead who wasn't very likeable. I shall read on.

I think this one is my favorite book in the series. Louie & His woman are the perfect pair. I hate all the things she was put through. I think it will make them both stronger. I hope Jax & Mack are okay. I'm worried about them. Much better book than the first two.

Defying Destiny is book three in the Forsaken Sinners MC series and I am hooked on these books! It’s action packed, full of suspense, and has some hot as hell bikers that will make you drool.

After reading book one and two in this series, I was so glad to get Louie’s story. He was so mysterious and quite broody and I was dying to know his story. In this book, you get the good, the bad, and the ugly side of him but I loved every part of him.

Harlow has come back to town after disappearing for two years. No one knows why she left and after roaming around on her own, she realizes she misses the club. She needs a place to settle in and make a home for herself. I must say that I had no idea why she left and I compliment Shelly on making that such a great part of the story. It wasn’t just a side note. It played an important part in why she is so guarded now. Harlow has suffered a traumatic loss and you wonder if she will ever be whole again, but Louie is there to put the pieces of her heart back together.

Oh, Louie, how I love you. Louie has suffered his own hell. He may have not had the perfect life growing up but he was happy and when he found his life destroyed by tragedy as well, we see Louie’s dark side that no one should ever want to cross. What a badass he is but we also see he has a heart of gold.

“I’ll do anything to make you happy, to keep you safe, and to give you everything you ever want and deserve.” - Louie

As Harlow is learning to start over, Louie is with her every step of the way and I just adore him for that. The big bad biker dude with a heart that will make you melt. You know he’s a dedicated member of the club but to find someone to share his heart with like Blaze and Toby found is what I really loved about this book. When Harlow finds herself in unexpected danger, Louie’s dark side surfaces and he’s determined to get his woman back. Louie and Harlow have this intense connection that I love seeing in a couple. They are brought together by tragedy but are both what the other needs to survive and move on. Even though Harlow may seem innocent at times, she really does have that wild side that compliments Louie so well.

This book kept my interest from start to finish, plus getting the other members of the MC is one thing I enjoy and look for in an MC book. The past characters always make each future book better and that’s what Shelly accomplished with this book. Louie and Harlow’s relationship may not be hearts and roses, but it’s hot, steamy, and mind-blowing. If you’re looking for a great MC series that will keep you entertained from beginning to end, I recommend this 5 star book. Shelly, please don’t make me wait long for the next book because I love these hot, tough as hell bikers and I need Mack’s book ASAP!

Louie grew up in the midst of a town that looked down on him, and never failed to let him know that he would never amount to anything. The only person he had in the world was his dad, whom he loved very much! When there lives started looking up, a tragedy destroys his world, and changed him for good. Louie's short fuse evolved into something much darker, and luckily the Forsaken Sinners president took him in, and became his family. Years later, Louie still harbors the dark demons, he's learned to harness the monster better, but lately, events have it growing. Harlow grew up in the foster system with her twin brother Hendrix. He has protected her the whole time, and finally sends her to live life, and she's found a place as friends with the Forsaken Sinners MC. She and Louie have a connection, but shortly after they hook up, she disappears without saying goodbye. Two years later, she's come back, but she's not the same girl. Louie never stopped thinking about her, and he's determined to find out what changed the sweet, sassy girl he knew. As they reconnect, someone from her past is stalking her, and since she has no clue who, she doesn't say a word to anyone. When the person makes the move against her, will Louie and the MC find her before it's too late?

I'm pretty sure I'm going to have an emotional breakdown soon since I've been reading this series one after another. The character development is on target, and the amazing cast of secondaries is always present. Flammable chemistry EXPLODES into fiery flames of sexy scene goodness that has me ready to find some alpha bikers. I'm sitting here imagining Shelly Morgan twirling a mustache while laughing darkly at what her diabolically evil mind will do to her readers. More brilliant twists and turns throat punched me, had me screaming obscenities, and finally wrecked me from the onslaught of emotions. I'll say it again, I'm a wreck, and yet, I can't get enough!

This book was deep, and I was sucked in completely. Their story is heartbreaking and the strength that they show throughout left me with hope. I aint gonna lie there were times i was crying and my heart was in my throat and times I was screaming at them to just get their shit together already but either way I loved it.

Louie has had his fair share of struggles lately first there was the hookup with Dani years ago which resulted in him having feelings for her but they were never reciprocated. He has had to watch her with Blaze and that stings a little. He works along side Dani as a tattoo artist and this is where he met Harlow. Dani bought Harlow in to work as a receptionist and just when Louie starts to think maybe she could be someone special she disappears with only a small note explaining nothing.

Louie struggles to open up to people so this has left him with a bitter taste in his mouth and an anger issue that is at boiling point. He has started to push people away again and he isn't the nicest person to be around.

Harlow is back, she dosnt know why she just knows this is her safe place and somewhere she can call home. Whilst Harlow was away she has had togo through some heart breaking things but that is just on top of everything that has gone on in her life.

Harlow loves Louie but after everything that has happened she is reserved she dosnt know how to move forward and she cant comprehend why anyone would want something thats broken. Louis needs answers but he knows he has to tred lightly. He wants to be her man, he wants her anyway he can have her.

With this couple finding even ground and lying things on the line it finally looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel...However a storm is brewing and its heading straight for them!!!

In book three of the series, we see a real shakeup happen. It has been two years since Harlow has walked out of the lives of everyone in the MC, and her job. Suddenly, when Louie comes to work one morning, he finds someone 'inside' the tattoo shop. When he's ready to take it out on the young punk, he notices that it is Harlow. Where did she go? What happened that caused her to leave? What is her attitude like now that she's back? Why is she acting that way? What is she thinking and feeling? What happens that gets her to open up to one of the gang? Who is it? What does she spill? Harlow receives flowers at work one day, as well as a letter in the mail. Who are they from? Who does she think they're from? When Louie sees them, what does he think? How does it affect them? One night, a couple of weeks after they arrive, Louie is at the club for Church, and Harlow locks up and hears a noise after she goes out into the back alley. Who or what is out there? Is it an animal? Or is it a person? Harlow gets up to her apartment, and listens quietly, but hears nothing. What does she do when the doorknob starts to turn? Where does she go? Can she get out? What happens to Harlow? When she calls Louie, what happens? When he gets to the shop and her apartment, what does he find? Where do Louie and the boys find her? What else happens? Who is injured and how? You're going to have to read to find out.

Yet again I am amazed with another book in this series. This one is no less good than any of the others. Only I may think I like it more just because I love Louie. He had me hooked in the other books and Ive been waiting for his back story since!

Louie has a temper! Like MAJOR temper. There is only certain people he lets IN and that's his brothers and Dani. Well more so Dani. Shes the one that got away for him. I think that made him realize that there is something MORE out there. He just didn't think he would be lucky enough to find it. Until Harlow.

Harlow is a rough customer. She has lived a hellish life and it wasn't pretty. AT ALL! I felt for her so much. Bouncing from home to home she never had family. Until she gets to the club. Most of all she finds Louie. Angry Louie that she cant help but want. I was kinda hoping that things for them would be easy. Unfortunately there is nothing easy for either of them.

I was so surprised with the ending! I am wanting more! I LOVE all of the characters. They really mesh well together. This is a good series to read with lots of high angst and tension. Don't miss out on it. Especially if you like hot tattooed bikers and sassy heroines.

Wow! This was the most heartfelt and tear jerking book in the series. Louie had it all. He lived with his father and had everything a teenager could want. That all changed the night his father was killed. When Louie went to avenge his fathers death, that's when he met Mack. Mack was the president of the Forsaken Sinners MC. When he saw this angry heartbroken boy, he took him under his wing and became a second father to him. Louie thought his life was over until the MC took him in and gave him a reason to live again. Louie never thought he could love, but that changed the day Harlow walked into his life. Harlow knew tragedy and heartbreak all too well. Growing up in the foster system with her brother, Harlow knew what it was like to want to give up on life. When Harlow and Louie started to become more than friends, tragedy struck again and Harlow ran for the hills. Will Harlow and Louie ever be able to forget their past or will they end up giving up on life altogether. This was the most heartbreaking story. I can't imagine going through what these two went through and still being able to love at the end of the day. I thought the ending could not have been any better, even though it ripped my heart into. I loved all the characters in the series and wouldn't change a thing. This book was reviewed for HeadTripping Books by Leandra

What can I say about this book. This whole series I have been glued to it. I couldn't put them books down and I recommend this series.
We meet Louie, he is member of Forsaken Sinners MC. He is quick to lose his temper and also fights the darkness in himself, but also has a heart of gold when comes to women. He sees Sara and Dani as sisters. His world got turned upside down at age seventeen when he lost his father. We find out how he became a member of Forsaken Sinners, and how he became loyal to Mack. His world gets turned upside down again when he turns up to work and sees Harlow, who left two years ago after they slept together.
We meet Harlow, she is jaded after being away for two years from the family she made at Sin Ink. She has always had feelings for Louie but had to leave after sleeping with him because of an emergency. She turns back up to Sin Ink, broken and hateful. She hides her hurt by being angry with everyone.
What happened to Harlow when she left two years ago? What is Louie's story and why does he have darkness in him?
This story is simply amazing to read as you fell in love with Louie in the other books and we didn't really know much about Harlow until this book. I couldn't wait to find out more about both characters.

This was given by author for an honest review.
This series as a whole is really great, but this one especially tugs at the heart strings. Anyone who lost a parent at a young age through whatever circumstances, for those who lost both and ended up in foster care as well, this would resonate to some degree. Both the main characters in this story have serious issues with anger and grief, both have a tendency to shut others out and try to deal alone. The Sinner's also have issues with another gang and worry about a flare up of trouble, but when trouble comes its not quite what they thought and the outcome could change things within the group. I felt very connected to Louie and to Harlow reading this story, the grief especially hit home with me and I often found myself with a tear running down my cheek. I love stories that get you so engrossed that you lose yourself completely while reading it. This hits with some deep issues including grief, anger, depression and PTSD. There is violent content, some is very graphic and hard to read but it is all in proportion to the plot of the story. Very good, I look forward to Mack's book which is next up.

This book was so good. That doesn't even describe how good it is let me tell you. Shelly did an outstanding job writing a book about two characters who have lost the only family they had left and the road to overcoming the grief. I could feel their pain and heartbreak while I was reading this book and it tore me up.

Neither one of them cope well and tend do just shut everyone out and shut down but in order for any sort of relationship to thrive they will both have to dig deep and work hard to learn to lean on each other. She is going to have to learn that although not blood related she does have a family that is there for her to support her and he is going to have to learn that he isn't the monster that is grief has made him.

I LOVED this book and I must go back and read the first 2! I can't believe that I have yet to read them and will definitely be doing just that in the near future and will be keeping my eye out for more by Shelly. With that being said you do NOT need to read the first 2 in order to fully appreciate this book. I highly recommend this book and think you will enjoy it as much as I did.

Book 4 in the Forsaken Sinners MC series follows Louie and Harlow. Although all the books can be read as standalone novels, I'd recommend reading them in order as the characters all interconnect. This book definitely has a darker edge to it, and is laced with the violence and crude language that I have become accustomed to from a great MC book.

I've loved Louie's character from the moment we met him in Rewriting Destiny, and couldn't wait to read his story. Louie really has the brooding alpha male thing down to a fine art. He is fiercely protective of all the ladies in his life and the situations he finds himself in throughout this book proved how far he would go to protect those he loves. Harlow, well my heart just broke for her, I was just so glad she had her MC family to fall back on.

This book will have you on the edge of your seat, the way the author writes, you can see everything happening and you want to shout at the characters to warn them, but you can't, it's just to arghhhh.

Another emotional roller coaster, and one I am so glad I jumped on. All I need now are Mack and Jax's stories.

I really do like this series. This is Louie and Harlow's story and it had drama, HOT sexy times, suspense, and some seriously heart breaking parts, especially when we got some backstory from the two main characters.

After vanishing for two years, following something devastating, Harlow returns, unsure as to why, but feeling herself being drawn back to the one place she had finally started to feel like she could call it home. After feeling like he'd found someone to call his, when Harlow vanished without a word Louie felt like he was broken. Now she's back, he wants answers, he wants to help, but most of all, he just wants her.

However, something is brewing. They don't know who. They don't know why. But they just know it's coming. And when it does, wow! I think Shelly wrote it perfectly, and I loved it.

I can't wait for Owning Destiny, so I can find out what happens next, I really hope the wait for it isn't too long. Defying Destiny gets 5 stars from me.
