Blood on the Throne
Built on history and the Dracula story so perfectly! I love how it explained Edward dying early and Mary's death.

"Tales of Dracula" doesn't begin to describe this anthology. While "Dracula" and "vampires" are the starting point - these stories are NOT strict retellings of any familiar vampire tale. They are totally original stories which just use the vampire legend to create wonderfully clever and unique stores that will scare/entertain/thrill you while making you shiver/laugh/cry out in delight. For instance: how about vampires failing at finding romance (who knew vampires tried speed dating?) This is a fun book. Buy a copy, you won't be sorry.
