I am so sad to see there is little to no info, reviews, or commentary on this book online! This was a beautiful read about three siblings growing up in New Jersey on a poultry farm, told through the eyes of the 15-year-old middle sister. Their parents survived the Holocaust not too many years before, and throughout the book, we get interludes of the two parents’ stories on their survival. This was so well-written and told such a heartbreaking story…I genuinely can’t believe more people haven’t talked about it!!! The writing style kind of reminds me of Elena Ferrante.
