“HELD” is a powerful memoir of love, loss, and resilience. When premature birth brought twins into the world far too soon, one family’s journey was forever changed. Through the heartbreak of infant loss and the fragile fight for survival in the NICU, ”HELD” shines a light on the raw reality of parenting in crisis. It is a story of healing, where grief and hope meet, and where faith carries a mother through unimaginable valleys. At its heart, this book is a tribute to the twin bond, the miracle of survival, and the unshakable strength found in being held—by family, community, and God.
Jess is a friend of mine and even though I know her story, I didn't know it this intimately. She and her husband had micro preemie twins born way too early. This is their story of love, loss, triumph, heartache, and faith. I am very proud of her for being vulnerable and sharing their story. It not only deserves to be told, but hopefully it will help parents struggling with similar issues. I highly recommend reading this book!
