The Devil's Ride: A Dark MC Novella
An unexpected ride on the Devil’s bike wasn’t part of the plan.
I came to New Orleans for a taste of freedom, the kind my overbearing father and sheltered life never allowed. Bourbon Street, wild nights, no rules. That was supposed to be the plan.
I didn’t expect to lose my friends, my sense of direction, or my common sense.
When I wandered into a station and saw him standing there—dark, dangerous, and watching me like I was his next problem to solve—I should’ve kept walking. But instead, I let Raven offer me a ride.
I climbed on the back of his bike. I let him into my hotel room. I let him into parts of me no one else had ever touched.
What started as a way out became something impossible to leave behind. The days we spent together changed everything, but the life he leads and the truths I’ve buried threaten to destroy us before we’ve even begun.
He calls himself the Devil. I just hope I don’t lose my soul to him.

This was a great audiobook! It was a short listen, but it completely pulled me in. I loved the story-age gap, supposed enemies, and bikers? Yes, please. The tension between the characters was off the charts and the steam? Let’s just say it was steaming. 🔥
The only thing I didn’t love? That cliffhanger ending! I need a part two because I have so many questions. What’s going to happen between the bikers? Where does their relationship go from here? I want more of their story ASAP.
Highly recommend if you’re into fast-paced, steamy romances with just the right amount of danger and forbidden vibes.

This book was so good! Even though it was a novella (only lasting 3 hours on audiobook) there was so much story packed in! The story was told from the FMC’s POV (and there was only the one female narrator doing both parts). I think the narrator was great! It was a nice little treat to get the MMC’s POV for the last chapter. I really liked the story between FMC and MMC; I liked their relationship. And the spice was spicin’ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️! Can’t wait to hear more of their story. MMC Raven (“Devil”) was 🥵.
There was a hidden identity that was alluded to throughout the book that was finally revealed. And the book, which is listed as a prequel, does have a sort of “To Be Continued…” ending, while we await the release of it’s series. I can’t wait to read the rest of the books!

I was given the audiobook for an ALC. All thoughts are my own.
I don't normally listen to MC or spicy love stories, but I enjoyed it. The only downside is it is too short! Hopefully, there will be additional books. A male narrator to accompany the female narrator would be a great addition.
