Captivating reading, strong character and a plot that will hold reader riveted
Miranda is a fifty-year-old woman that is recently divorced and is taking a strong second chance at what life has to offer now that she is divorced and on the early end of fifty, She is currently trying to keep her daughter’s wedding planning on time and on budget, truly trying to be the best mother she can and ensure her daughter had the wedding she dreamed of.
Miranda had then been pushed into things in the past but now she was determined that she was going to put her fifty something years to its best use. Imagine her surprise when she had been matched with a tall muscular Panther Monstrum by the name of Korrath, he is from a different universe and she found this somewhat captivating.
The interaction between the couple is immediate and the pleasure Miranda feels is immediate and their feeling of the bond between them and the fated mate bond is the way a feeling of desire grew between them and she knew she would not be the same since she had met Korrath. The interactions between each of them was special and ensured that her life would be forever changed if she wished it.
This is a wonderful heartfelt read and I guarantee that others will enjoy this book as much as myself, this has been a truly wonderful read and guarantee others will enjoy this book as much as myself.

What follows is a passionate, emotional, and wildly captivating journey that had me flipping pages late into the night.

Listen… this was a delight to read. I loved everything about Miranda and Korrath and I pray that the next book will give sweet Thryxis and Susan their own book. But I don’t know if what Libby has is an old version because there were some spelling errors and grammatical errors that made me go “huh?”, but that’s not major issue I’m not even checking my own grammar here 😆.
I just love this book it was sweet and funny, I just wish there was more time to talk about Miranda’s personal desires since this was about a middle aged woman taking back the years that was stolen by her husband. All I know about her is that she felt insecure because of her age and her husband, that she loves her daughter, and that she is a teacher. Tell me how I was SHOCKED to find out she is an artist and we don’t find out about it until after the wedding and it was Korrath that mentions it because he saw the paintings in his dreams?! I want to know more about Miranda and Korrath personally just like how they explicitly let me know about them physically 😭.
But this will live in my head rent free and I will come back to it and hope that Libby had saved all my highlights 🤣.

« Hein ? Qu’est -ce que vous dites ? » La vieille prêtresse se tourna vers lui en fronçant les sourcils. « En êtes -vous certain ? »
La panthère Monstrum hocha fermement la tête et murmura quelque chose d'inaudible pour Mirdanda .
« Très bien. » La prêtresse acquiesça et se retourna pour reprendre la parole au micro. « Nous avons une offre à vous faire… quel est votre nom ? » demanda-t-elle en fronçant les sourcils à Miranda .
« Miranda Slocum . » Elle aurait aimé reprendre son nom de jeune fille, Whitaker , mais pour l'instant, elle devait encore porter son nom d'épouse. « Je suis la mère d'Hanna », répéta-t-elle pour être sûre.
« Eh bien, eh bien, Miranda Slocum … le guerrier Monstrum qui a appelé Hanna est prêt à conclure un marché. Il vous prendra à la place de votre fille, paraît-il », lui dit la prêtresse.
Miranda était certaine d'avoir mal entendu.
« Pardon ? » demanda-t-elle en fronçant les sourcils. « Quoi ? »
« Ce guerrier -ci… » La prêtresse désigna le Monstrum Panthère d'un signe de tête . « Il dit que tant qu'aucun homme ne te réclame, il te proposera un échange : toi contre ta fille. Qu'en dis-tu ? »
« Je… euh… » Miranda ne sut que répondre. Elle baissa les yeux vers sa fille, qui pleurait à présent, des larmes coulant sur ses joues rougies.
« Maman, non… je ne peux pas te perdre ! » murmura-t-elle entre ses larmes. « Surtout pas juste avant le mariage… j’ai besoin de toi ! »
« Je sais, ma chérie, mais il semble que nous n'ayons guère le choix », murmura Miranda . Elle leva les yeux vers le Monstre Panthère et la prêtresse, qui la fixaient tous deux.
« Alors ? Qui sera choisi ? » demanda la prêtresse. « Nous n’avons pas toute la journée, il y a beaucoup de mariages à faire ! Toi ou ta fille, décide-toi ! »
« Moi », lâcha Miranda , car que pouvait-elle dire d'autre ? « Je viendrai… laissez juste ma fille rentrer chez elle. »
« Maman… non ! » Hanna lui attrapa la main.
« Chérie, je dois y aller. Je suis désolée si je rate le mariage, mais c'est mieux que toi , tu es la mariée ! » Miranda lui serra la main pour la réconforter. « Je dois y aller maintenant. Je suis désolée. »
Laissant sa fille pâle et en pleurs sur son siège, elle descendit lentement l'allée de chaises et se dirigea vers l'avant de la salle de bal où l'imposant Monstrum l'attendait.

read this book if you love spicy scenes!!
Ok I love the kindred series by Evangeline Anderson and this book is part of that world. In saying that, this can be read as a standalone. If you’re looking for a book with a storyline, this is not it. This is an awesome smut filled, spicy, sexy book. I love that the female lead is in her 50s and her fated mate is in his 30s!! All too often it’s always in the reverse. We’ve become so used to the men being older than the women and for that to be fine, but not when it’s the women being older than the men. I love that Evangeline wrote a book like this because she’s awesome and I love the way that she writes characters and her stories. But it’s nice to have a break every once in a while and just read a book that is just pure sexy smutty scenes. I wished I had a great aunt Marge like Miranda, oh she had me laughing out loud!!

The steam level in this book is off the charts!
I mean it practically made my kindle melt!

Korath certainly knows how to please his mate and Miranda well, she is a smart lady and let him!
There are a few people that deserved to be shot out into the great unknown. However, they are not worth the energy.
The love/bond, as it is in these types of stories, happens quickly and is amazing!
I will say no more so I don't ruin anything for the reader.
However, I aspire to be just like Miranda's Aunt Marge!
That lady is a hoot and a half! You tell 'em Aunt Marge!

The author warns if you are a skimmer of spicy scenes then this book is full of them and not for you...but I had FOMO lol
There was still enough story line to keep me interested despite some skimming. I really enjoy when a mature woman can still find love and happiness. The looking 30 years younger in a few days is not something to knock back either.
I always love this author's work, always a HEA and a lot of fun.

Wow wow this book absolutely blew me away. I loved Miranda and Korrath's story. She definitely was pleasured. I love that the story helps her build up her confidence in herself again after she was emotionally torn down by her horrible ex-husband.i would definitely recommend this book if you are looking for some adventure with lots of spice. Absolutely brilliant.

A story for us middle age ladies right out of our daydreams. Having a Monstrum Kindred adds a little fun to the mix and who wouldn't want to cuddle with a panther. Enjoyed this quick read that focused on the claiming period of a Kindred and their mate. Have fun with this one.
