Twenty-eight-year-old Fajer is already on her second marriage. She thought this time she had found her happy ending, but behind closed doors lies a truth she cannot share. When her ex-husband suddenly becomes her colleague, the careful façade she’s built begins to unravel, forcing her to confront what she’s been trying to escape.
Nineteen-year-old Omniya feels invisible in her fractured family. Her father has left for another wife, and her only sister barely acknowledges her. Constant comparisons leave her desperate to be seen, pushing her into first love, heartbreak—and unhealthy ways of coping with the pressure to be perfect.
When Fajer and Omniya’s lives intersect, their struggles mirror each other in unexpected ways. Both are searching for love, acceptance, and a voice in worlds that try to keep them quiet. Their stories reveal not only the cost of silence, but also the strength it takes to finally be seen.
Cashmere poison never disappoints with her stories. Loved it!
The beginning was strong and captivating, however, I found myself struggling at the end because the plot got weaker and I felt that the story ended at an awkward time. I wish we got more closure and I feel like some of the end was rushed. I was dying to see fajer and jassim reconcile and get married but we were robbed of that.
Overall, really good story but needs a bit of editing
