The Fairy Queen is calling in a favor. She wants Morgan to exterminate the djinn. If that isn’t bad enough, her nemesis Alister has gone completely mad, and most alarmingly, Inigo isn't quite himself. It's enough to make a vampire hunter yearn for the simpler stake 'em and leave 'em. But Morgan is more than a vampire hunter, she's a vessel for colossal cosmic powers that yearn for release. Shéa MacLeod

135 books455 followers
Shéa MacLeod has dreamed of writing novels since before she could hold a crayon. She totally blames her mother.

Her favorite poem as a child was ‘Jabberwocky’, and Her favorite authors were Agatha Christie and Edgar Allan Poe. Which probably explains a lot.

After a six year sojourn in London, England, a dearth of good donuts has driven her back to her hometown. She now resides in the leafy green hills outside Portland, Oregon where she indulges in her fondness for strong coffee, Ancient Aliens reruns, lemon curd, and dragons.

Because everything's better with dragons.

Shéa is the author of the SUNWALKER SAGA (a fast paced urban fantasy series with a kick-ass heroine published by Montlake) and DRAGON WARS (a post-apocalyptic series with dragons)as well as the Cupcake Goddess novelettes.

Nice conclusion

A nice conclusion to Morgan's story, with plenty of action and not a little romance. The characters have depth, the plot has twists, and the writing is fast paced. There were a few editing errors, but not bad enough to spoil the read.

Kissed by Eternity is the final book in the Sunwalkers Series by Shea MacLeod. Books must be read in order to understand the series. I loved every minute of this series and this book.

The book starts out where Kissed by Iced leaves off. The Dijin and Sidhe are at war. Jack has disappeared. Indigo is still in Scotland not speaking with Morgan, breaking her heart. Morgan needs to stop the war without choosing a side that would start a war with humans. Plus to top things off, Alistair escapes from the paranormal prison at Area 51 and Morgana calls in her marker.

Morgan has gone through a lot in this series. She is such a bada$$. She always gets the bad guy in the end, literally kicking its butt, of course with the help of friends at time. Each book she has gained a new Altantean power. Now she learns to master them. In this book she discovers who she is and all about her ancestors. We have all of our favorite characters in this book: Tommy, Jack, Cordiela, Emory, Madrid, Indigo (swoon), Eddie, Trevor, Drago and we cannot forget Bassett the cat. The end comes full circle. I’m extremely happy for the conclusion of this series. Morgan deserves a HEA.

An unbelievable ending to a fabulous series!!

What I liked: I was a bit apprehensive when I realized Kissed by Eternity would be the last of the Sunwalker Saga, but I shouldn't have worried at all. Ms MacLeod did a great job of ending the series but setting it up for a spin-off in the Sunwalker world.

This will be extremely hard to write without spoilers. Morgan has a lot on her plate; she waiting to see what's going to happen between her and Inigo (what a cool name) and in addition the Fairy Queen has started a war with Djinn.

There are a few new characters introduced and hopefully we will see them developed further in the spin-off of this series. I really want to see what Ms Mac Leod does with Kabita, Morgan's best friend. Not even to mention the hunky viking, Haakon Magnussen. Mmmm. He ought to cause a bit of trouble.

The explanation of Morgan's powers as "The Key" is a revelation I didn't see coming. The author handled every little tidbit with care and explanation. You aren't left unsatisfied at the end except for a bit of a surprise that I'm looking forward to reading about in the new series.

What I didn't like: I was a bit conflicted on Jack's whole part in this series. He started off front and center as The Guardian of the Key and then after the revelation of Morgan's lineage, he became more or less superfluous. Weird.

The writing is top notch, the pacing good and the characters are unforgettable. I applaud Ms MacLeod for knowing when to end a series but carrying on with the fantastic world she has been building.

Highly recommend this series!!

Oh Wow, I'd missed Badass Morgan. I have loved her since the beginning.

She grew into a loving steady, stable and incredibly strong badass with some smoking hot friends.

I was so pleased Inigo finally came around, he needed a smack upside the head, but as he is a smoking hot, sexy dragon boy, all is forgiven and serves him right with everything he missed !

Never did understand Morgan's mother, can't call her mom, she didn't earn that title.

Loved that we got more of the sexy Viking and that we will get more of him in the future! I also think Trevor needs to let us in, on his story.

I honestly had forgotten about Mikey and Zipporah, but will love to learn more about them too.

So the crescendo, everything coming to its natural end, and why Morgan has been so influential in bringing the world to re-align.

Her dreams were real eye-openers, and we learnt why. We got to meet everyone who has been on this journey with her, learning about each part they play and have played into bringing the key to its lock.

I was a surprised as Morgan, when we learn about all the individual sections which made her powers gain life; air-earth-water-fire. There wheres and whys she had them and what happens next to the powers.

Its been one hell of a ride, and one I am glad I had a front seat for. I have loved getting to know Morgan, Kabita, Inigo, Trevor, Jack, Drago, the Sidhe - good and bad parts and also the Djinn.

Its been a very interesting thrilling story, and I for one can't wait for the future Sunwalker books to arrive.

Thanks Shea. :)

I'm going to have to go with an average, right in the middle rating for this one. The beginning was horrible. I was seriously wondering what happened, it completely contradicted what happened at the end of the last story, which seemed like a quick write off ending at the time. Now I'm wondering if the book was split into two and just given an ending which didn't make sense in the least. Especially considering the beginning of book 6 turns around and undoes everything that happened at the end of book 5. Things got better at the midpoint and the ending was very well done. I did find quite a bit of grammar errors in this book. Kind of glad I'm done with the series. The characters I care about are in a good place and the spin off books don't interest me.

I felt like this book was kind of all over the place. I think the author wanted to wrap up plots and relationship issues, while still leaving room for spin-offs, and it felt a bit haphazard to me. I thought the ending was kind of weird, and like there should have been more exploration of how it affected Morgan. In general the characters all felt flat to me, much more so than they have in the previous books.
I've always been kind of on the fence about this series, so people who have loved it all along might love this final book, but it just didn't work for me.

I was rather disappointed. I was left with more questions than answers. And I guess somewhere in the back of my mind I kept thinking we were heading toward a Pride & Prejudice style ending. I kept thinking that Inigo was going to end up a traitor or something and Morgan would ultimately end up with Jack. As it was, the series ended a bit flat.

Nice Conclusion

Morgan has a lot going on and enemies in different directions. The queen is going mad, Alister is on the loose, dragons, djinn and witches, oh my. As the race to save humanity continues, dangerous situations keep Morgan busy. Enjoyable, adventurous read. Great series.

Really interesting worldbuilding and ideas but much inconsistencies in the storytelling in the whole series. The characters seem not very intelligent and quite shallow from time to time but its worth reading.

The story and its people are all wrapped up in a very complete and satisfying conclusion in this final book. The world is not over, though! Yea!
