I listened, but you’ll probably want a physical copy so you can mark, underline, and write in the margins. Chances are pretty good I’ll buy it a copy so I can do that as well. It will be a good addition to Bible study.
The chapters are short, so study would be easy. Each chapter focuses on one word. It gives examples of how to use the word in English, scriptures to look at to see how it was used in translation, and one or two stories as examples in real life of what the word means and how to use it.
Sometimes it clearly reads as a book written for teenagers or grade 6 through 10. Other times it’s clear it was written for any age who is beginning to learn. Basically it’s an easy read for everyone to learn something. I really did feel like I was back in high school again, and to be fair that’s probably the age group she teaches. On the other hand if this is what the kids are learning in high school no wonder they’re reaching adulthood so much more advanced than a lot of of us were. Hmmmmm maybe I need to read more books on this level.
