When the love of your life belongs to someone else, how do you move forward? For Shadow it's not so easy. Finding Paige was a godsend and with her help, he is beginning to love again. She has lost so much in her past and refuses to let Jade steal yet another man from her.

Spike knows all about loss. He's lived it and knows he will never find another love again like he shared with Greta. Until Jenna walks into his life. What began as friendship develops into more, but Jenna's past keeps her from moving forward.

TITLE: Damaged
SERIES: (Satan's Rebels MC #4)
AUTHOR: Kira Johns
GENRE: Contemporary Romance
RELEASE DATE: February 28th 2015

I've had an Author Kira Johns week long marathon and read this series back to back for the second time around, if you are into hardcore gritty biker books that know no boundaries, it's dark, it's raw, it's emotional, and with hot alpha males to boot..

I can't recommend this series enough, I love my dark gritty books and this delivered exactly what I craved but so much more than that, the love and heart ache you feel for these characters as you read along is real..

Once you start this series you won't be able to put it down, it's highly addictive, highly emotional and highly recommended!!

What an epic way to round up the ending to this awesome trilogy!! I got recommended the first book by a friend on Goodreads and from that day forward I was a fan..
Each book in this whole trilogy landed on my most favourite books for 2014 and this book was no different..

What I loved about this book is that it wasn't all dark and gritty life for them started to settle down, some found new love interests, some let old insecurities go and some strived to find that all consuming love that Jade and Viper shared..
And some actually found it..

This whole series was phenomenal, amazeballs, captivating, it is dark, it is raw, it is emotional, it is gritty, everything a biker series should be this went way and beyond that, it catered to my dark and twisted side but also gave me that HEA that my other half was seeking..It's such a bittersweet feeling to finish this series..I can not wait to see what is next in the works from this author..

This series as a whole utterly captivated me and will stick with me for a long time to come. The story line, the characters and most of all the feels that this author brought out of me were phenomenal..

Hmmmmm this is a hard review to write, the strength in the previous books was in my view what let this book down. In this I mean I love that we get to read about different characters but instead of getting titbits that could be built upon in future books we were given condensed big stories, which changed them from deep and meaningful to shallow. Paige and Shadow for instance *spoiler alert* it was made out by other characters that Paige was selfish by being jealous and not understanding Shadow and Jades relationship but in my eyes what Shadow was doing to her was using her if taken lightly and mental abuse if taken strongly. He was not giving her any signs that he felt deeply for her, was regularly telling her he loved Jade not in the past but in the present and will continue into the future not sisterly love....true love. And she is meant to say yeah go ahead I have no self esteem. We then hear about the awful part of Paige's past and how it affects the other characters which is described in a page or so then suddenly all forgotten and her relationship with Shadow is all sorted after a chat we don't hear and sex. I think each of these couples deserved their own books with us hearing in passing what's happening with the other characters.
All that being said I did really enjoy parts of the book and glad I read it.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

I received this book for a honest review.. Can I say Kira never disappoints! I've been reading her books from the beginning & absolutely love her way of writing. I really like the closure she brought into all the characters of this series in this book. I can't wait to read more of her work! I hope you add this book to your TBR list and do read it! Here are some teasers I made for this book!!!

I have read all four of the books in the series and I'm not sure where to even begin to tell you how much I have loved all of them. I have laughed and, smiled and fell in love with all these characters. I had some ugly ugly cries over situations that occurred in book 2. They left me extremely sad and just wasn't sure if I was going to be able to continue reading The next book in the series. The books were so good that I jumped right into book 3 and I am so happy that I did. I continued on until I finished the series. I cannot say enough about how much I loved the series and I am sorry that it has ended. The author is magnificent and I will continue to read any and everything that she puts out!

I like seeing everyone get their happy ending...LOVED reading about Blake at the end...so sweet. But again I was put off by this whole Shadow situation. I felt really bad for Paige. I do not disagree where people would say what she did was wrong, with the whole Matt situation. I can have sympathy for her there because she was desperate for her son and then she kinda went a little crazy with trying to find someone to love her. BUT.....not for one second did I think she was wrong in being upset about the whole Jade/Shadow relationship. I think everyone else was batshit fucking crazy. Yes, Jade loved Shadow, but she loved him in the correct way, as a very close friend who she would die for. But Shadow loved her more than that and I think Paige had every right to be upset and jealous. I really felt she got the raw end of the deal. If Shadow were loving Jade in the correct way, that I would understand but no...he kept saying he was in love with her and he would never find anyone else, and she was it for him....FUCK, I would have gone and punch him in his fucking face. And sweet baby Jesus when Shadow or Viper said (cant remember which one) that if you cant share his heart with Jade then you cant have him...............WHAAAAAAAAAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK....I almost threw my Kindle down and broke it. Why should ANYONE settle for second best when it comes to loving someone. I think Jade and Viper should have taken Shadow aside and said man the fuck up and move on. Once Shadow finally did move on, you saw the difference in his character towards Jade. But then no one was like..ohh sorry Paige, you were right, Shadow was out of line. NOOOOOOOOO they just made Paige be the bad guy and "finally get over her jealousy" DAMMIT....I really could have gone without the whole Shadow aspect. Since I hate love triangles it really ruined the rest of the stories for me. I loved Jenna and Spike and Tank and Britt and I was just too pissed off and obsessed with fucking Shadow that I would enjoy them. Ugh, I really need to get over this hatred of love triangles.

I did not love this one. The perfection of Jade was too strong for me and it carried on in every story to the point it was just too much. I started to skim and then lost interest. I like when the male in love stories loves the one female above all else and others. The fact everyone loved Jade above and beyond was over the top for me.

Seems like I will be in the minority for this book. The book was 3 novellas...4 if you count the epilogue but they were incomplete novellas. You found out the beginning of the story and then either missed the middle or the end. In the case of Shadow and Paige, we go through all the jealousy of Jade, Shadow being a butthead to Paige, Paige leaving even though she loved Shadow and then later on they get back together but that was all of page because we were already in Shadow and Jenna's story. I felt slighted on that. All of the stories just skipped too much and should have been separate books. I don't even know what to say about Tank and Britt because that story was the worse of them all. He hates her, but wants her and kisses her all in the first few pages of their story? It was just a mess.

In Paige and Shadow's story, even I couldn't stand Jade. The book gave me a headache because there was so much missing and I didn't even care enough to try to figure out what could have happen in the middle of everything. I shouldn't have had to try because the stories should have told me. And what was the point of the epilogue? It was yet another incomplete story of someone that we only find out about the last few chapters. I won't even ask when the kid grew up that much. That was like soap opera aging, one week the kids are 7 and then 2 weeks later they are 18.

I'm sorry but this could have been so much better. If the author wanted it to be the end of the series, I would think she could have picked one couple as the main storyline, i.e. Tank and Britt, and then added in the stories of the other couples since they were pretty much established in the previous books. Breaking it up in sections was just a fail for me.

This is really more of a 1.5 star.

What a great ride Kira takes us on with this book, This series is quite different than other MC books I have read and Kira can make me ugly cry with her stories, this one I still needed tissues but not like I did in Destroyed.
What can I say other than I was happy to see that Shadow met someone who could make him happy plus show him he could love again even when I wanted to ring Paige’s neck she made me crazy at times, but then again so did Shadow.
I enjoyed watching Spike fall in love again with such a tender yet loving soul, just what he needed after losing Greta.
Tank and Britt, not necessarily the couple you expect but just as explosive…I loved Tank!
Viper and Jade…OMG this couple takes the cake there just isn’t another out there like them. Viper is a man I would want in real life not just in my book. Jade if you could that kind of woman you would have it all!
Soooo I’m hopeful to see Sheild and Bella’s story as the small glimpse Kira gave us of them. Sheild I’m sure is going to blow our minds, just as his daddy did…Well Viper that is!
I highly recommend anyone who has read this series to complete it with book 4, and If you haven’t then you damn well better get to reading!

As a follow up book to the previous 3 books; this book was excellent. So why only 4 stars.....I had to deduct a star for Paige, I just couldn't find it in me to forgive and like her.

While this book wrapped up the loose ends for all the previous characters I feel like she left the door open for the next generation.

Damaged was well worth the wait and I am definitely a fan of Ms. Johns.

OK I just finished this book and I am speechless. This book was one of a kind in so many ways. First, the author did something I had never seen before by putting 3 novellas into one book. Most authors would have made us pay for 3 separate books so that says a lot. Second, she pulled it off! When I realized it was 3 stories in one I thought I would get confused, but I didn't. The writing was smooth and flowed effortlessly. Simply amazing writing by such a talented author!

All I can say is that you must read this entire series in order. None of the books are standalone but trust me they are so worth it!

At first I hated Paige. I thought she was a selfish witch who only cared about herself but learned quickly that she had a messed up past. Shadow I felt sorry for. He has always loved Jade and although I could understand his feelings for Jade I wanted to smack him a few times (like I did in the other books) but he really is a sweet guy with so much to give. And Paige needed to understand that he would always love Jade but that wouldn't change how he felt for her. And she learned to accept the fact that he would always love Jade.

I always loved Spike and often wondered about his past with Greta. Now I know and I love him even more. My heart broke for him at what he lost but meeting Jenna was perfect. She was everything he needed and he was everything she needed. Perfect love story.

Tank I can't even begin to describe. I loved him from book 1 and throughout the series. Him and Britt's story was out of this world!

And to top things off, there was a Jade and Viper section which blew me away. Couldn't get any better.

And when things come to a close, Kira Johns blows me away with a section on little Blake all grown up. I am so praying that she will write a Shield book, even a short one! That should be the ending of this series. Please, please, please!!!

First of all I want to say that it truly disgusts me that people are giving this book 1 stars BEFORE the book was even published! How can you rate a book that hasn't been released yet? Apparently its not uncommon on Goodreads and that is why I could care less what others say about a book on here.

That being said, this book was delivered to my Kindle shortly after midnight and I immediately jumped in. I have been waiting for this book since I finished Book 3 and I was not disappointed at all.

Miss Johns did the impossible with this book. She incorporated three stories together in a way only she can do. There wasn't one bit of confusion as to what was going on or whose point of view I was reading. I thought the outcome was brilliant!

This story was in no way rushed and gave a lot of closure from the previous books. I am glad she decided to combine their stories rather than release 3 separate novellas. Their stories are intertwined and there would be too much repetition if these were separated. Again BRAVO Miss Johns for a job well done.

I refuse to give spoilers because I hate it when people ruin a book for me, but this is a must read. The entire series is!! Thank you Kira Johns for sharing your gift with the world. We love you for it!

I couldn't have asked for a better ending to this series and Kira really rocked this book with me!

I have been anxiously waiting for Shadow to get his happy ending and this book definitely delivered. It wasn't easy for Paige and Shadow and at times I just wanted to slap Paige. As much as Shadow disappointed me in the previous books, I feel like he redeemed himself in this book.

Tying up loose ends, we also got Spike who had experienced such tragedy and we see him learn to love again. My heart just broke for him and I was so glad he found his way and was able to move on and be happy again.

I'd also been ready for Tank to find love and when Britt unexpectedly enters his world, there is no denying that attraction. I fell for Tank in this series and I was so happy for him to find love.

I was anxious how I would like several different stories in one book but Kira executed this book well and I was so impressed. You have sexiness and the heat was off the charts! I hated to see this series end and I'm looking forward to seeing what this author comes up with next. This will be one tough series to beat.

I just finished this series, I read one book after another and didn't stop until it was finished. I really tried to slow down my reading for these books so I could savour every word that this author has written. I loved this series so much, that words can't even begin to describe just how I am feeling at this present moment.
I am not going to write a huge review and get into all the characters. These books really have to be read to truly understand them.
But I usually take away a lesson from certain books that have touched me the way this series has. The lesson from this series: Everyone has a story, everyone has a past, we can choose to be a victim or a survivor.
I will definitely be waiting to read more from this author. I hope that she realizes what a talented writer she is.

This is the 4th & final book in the Satan's Rebels MC series. Wow, this was an awesome fucking series, I absolutely loved it. It is one of the best MC series I have ever read. The first 3 books ripped my heart out, put it in a blender & then shoved it up my ass, I cried like a baby. This one was a lot happier but it was just as great as the first 3. There are multiple POV's in this one, Paige & Shadow, Jenna & Spike, & Tank & Brittany. I was so happy to see Shadow, Spike & Tank find love & get their HEA. If you haven't read this series I strongly suggest that you read it, cause it is outstanding. I'm sorry to see it end I will miss all the great characters.

This book is a little different in the sense that you get 3 stories instead of 1. It starts with Paige and Shadow's story then goes on to Jenna and Spikes story goes on to Britt and Tank's story. I liked this style of writing because it just all connected so well and it just made it that more interesting. In the end it even introduced Blain and Bella. Blain is Viper and Jade's eldest son. It was an interesting way to concluded this series a good one in my opinion.

This book to me was 3 1/2 stars so I rounded it up. Just to much going on. Still good but it seems that it was rushed to be finished with the series. So many more books could of came from this one. Each biker getting their own story. But all in all good series. Rate whole series a 4.

Okay before anyone else wastes their time, here's a warning.

This book will hook you. but dont be fooled!

The first half is set on one couple. Rotating their points of view. The H, Shadow is honestly horrible to the h, Paige. Constantly confessing he is still in love with another woman. (The main character from the previous books i didnt read. )
He 'let her go' to be with someone else, and says he is happy for her but she will always be the most important thing in his life.

He is IN LOVE with the other woman. She is not in love with him. She is in love with her husband. Paige is in love with him but knows he doesn't love her.
The H openly says that he can't say he loves her because he doesn't feel what he felt for his ex.

But he's like nice to her kind of? Or at least not outright mean. He claims to care about her a lot, all the while saying these crazy things about his ex casually.

And everyone in this pour girls life acts like she should just accept that's all she deserves from him and is a horrible selfish person to expect more???

The h is already VERY insecure for sure, but I mean... who tf wouldn't be in that relationship!!

The H is staight up using a girl who loves him while shoving his love for someone else in her face every opportunity. Then gaslighting her when she cares.

This is where we are at when they drop this crazy story about how the h was horrifically abused and manipulated by a man when her son was dying of cancer. That's she has kept secret from the group.becay Because her actions - when she was being manipulated by said abuser. Got the Hs ex (who everyone is in live with BTW. The woman walks on water. It got annoying after a while) hurt.

The H says more horrible things to the h and
When he trues to reconcile, he still can't bring himself to tell her he loves her so she leaves - as she should.

Imagine me... halfway through the book. Their relationship issues finally come to a head. Im thinking, okay! How is this gonna play out. How could he possibly be redeamed. There must be some epic groveling coming my way.

I turn the page and...

Just like... the first half of the book is forgotten.

And I mean, actually. Literally.

Suddenly, it's a new book from another couples point of view and the main couple are reduced to side characters.

Image my surprise when after more than a few chapters like this, I flip through to see there are NO MORE chapters from the original
Couples POV

I....

I don't think I've ever been so mad at a book.lol

Like just on principle wft. I skimmed the rest. I don't even care.

Apparently, they make up? Work it out? Idk, it's not on page. You just hear it meantioned by other characters.

After investing half the book on them and their inner worlds. Why would any author devote so much of the word count to a specific issue between a specific couple just to bate and switch you half way through the book and bring no real resolution to what you've just read.

One star on principle. If she had continued with the couple I was invested in i would have rated much higher. This felt mean lol

Damaged (Satan's Rebels MC #4)

Amazing 5 star

To begin with, this story was in seven parts

The first part was the Shadow and Paige story

I don't know what to say about them in this relationship,
there are so many lies and secrets
I think someone else would have been a good fit for Shadow

The second part was the story of Spike and Jenna,
this story was emotional and sad the fact that,
Spike was given chance new love was lovely
Jenna is a broken woman but at the same time she is friendly and lovely,
she has suffered a lot in her life just as Jade was,
but the difference is she's shy and fearful

The third part was the story of Brittany and the Tank
These two characters come from so different worlds,
one is president of the MC club and the other is the undercover cop
They are both stubborn, and hot together,
neither wants a relationship but Brittany falls in love,
and turns Tank life into a mess which also has its consequences

The basic story is all of these girls have their own story to tell,
which makes this book exciting and puts the girl in danger,
and of course, their men are doing do their best to save them
Jade also plays a big role in this book

I enjoyed all the stories!

Overall: Well written Action-packed, secrets, and lies, trust, and love

Thank you!

Why switch?

I'll just start by saying I DNF'd. I started reading this book for Paige and Shadows story. The way it "ends" is brutal but to know that it doesn't actually end and then you have to follow the rest of their story through other characters Point of view is hot garbage. I just want everyone's completed story from their own points of view and to not have to randomly move in and out of other character's points of view. If all of the author's books are like this.I will never read another book by them. Just give me a completed story please.

Sucked

It’s all about everyone BUT Shadow and Paige. They get back together, but you don’t see How. You get Tank and Britt. Jenna and Spike. And BS outta left field on Jenna’s background story and Ex and solving that problem. Hooking up Tank and Britt. Ya get to see Jade overshadow AGAIN Paige. Paige is right, she is invisible.
Would have loved to read how Paige and Shadow reconnected. But we never will.

Loved getting three couples in on book and seeing parts of their relationships unfold. I did feel like we missed the beginning and the HEA was abrupt.
