For fans of Lambcat’s enchanting WEBTOON comes a novel adaptation series in the vein of Serena Valentino’s Disney Villains series or the Mariko Tamaki’s Lumberjanes novelization. Delve deeper into the world of the Cursed Princess Club.
Welcome to the world of the Cursed Princess Club where things aren’t quite as they seem.
Gwendolyn is a princess. She lives in a castle, her father is the king, and her siblings love her . . . it sounds like a fairy tale, yet it’s not that simple. Gwen isn’t your typical princess, and she isn’t conventionally attractive. But when she meets the members of the Cursed Princess Club, they help her recognize that not “fitting the mold” doesn’t make her less of a princess.
In this second book of the series, Prince Frederick is beginning to question if he deserves Gwen. She’s been so kind to him, but he hasn’t always been nice to her, and he’s starting to realize that appearances aren’t everything.
Meanwhile, Gwen is introduced to the Princels—princes who have shunned society because of their own insecurities, insecurities she can understand.
With the same charming and delightful heart as the comics, the adventures of Gwendolyn and the other Cursed Princesses continue in this novel series adapted by best-selling author Michelle Knudsen.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for access to the e-ARC for review purposes.
First and foremost, I would like to thank the publisher for INVITING me to review this one. This is my favorite series and I’m so grateful that I did not have to request it myself. THANKS AGAIN!*
The author has once again done a fantastic job at turning the beloved graphic novel into novel format without losing any of the humor or the whimsy. This is just such an easy novel to read in the best way possible. It is easy to understand and humorous with also touching on some sensitive topics like self-confidence and self-doubt. It was so fun to re-live this story in novel format!
Gwen is someone that a lot of people can relate to. I want her to be real so we can be besties in real life. I really enjoy continuing to read about her and her innermost thoughts. This series is such a gem to me because the characters are all fantastic. Characters are so important to me and this novel delivers.
I really enjoyed Calpernia’s story at the end as well. I loved her story in the graphic novels and think that the author really nailed her personality in this novel.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. READ THE GRAPHIC NOVELS. READ THIS NOVELIZATION. Please give these a try if you haven’t.
They literally have everything: - Quirky characters - Friends to lovers - Hilarious quips - Found family - Unique backstories - Unsolved mysteries and suspense ..AND MORE.
I could go on and on but I’ll stop here. 100/10 do recommend with my life.
(*Just a reminder that all opinions are mine and having early access does not guarantee a stellar review)
I was so excited to be approved for the second Cursed Princess Club Novel on @netgalley . It was so fun to be back in this world. It was nice reading the novel because we got a bit more details than in the graphic novel, which was nice. Michelle Knudsen did a seamless job of adapting the graphic novel to a novel.
In this volume, Gwen seeks out help from the Cursed Princess Club to help make her beautiful. Frederick learns that there is more to Gwen than he thought. We also meet the Princels and learn more about Prez’s backstory.
I loved both the novel and graphic novel versions, but I prefer the graphic novel more because I love the art.
