4.5 Stars

Love Unscripted is a deeply moving, character-driven romance that hits all the right notes. Stormi and Milo’s journey feels honest and heartfelt. They’re two people learning to trust again after love has let them down. Their chemistry builds slowly, but the payoff is worth it.

Kiriah Kache does a great job blending vulnerability with emotional tension. The writing is thoughtful, the characters layered, and the conflict feels real without being overdone.

Congratulations on a beautifully done full length novel Kiriah !

This story was mysterious!! From the first page to the very last, I was trying to piece a puzzle together.
Stormi Hicks is an amazing teacher and woman just trying to heal from her last relationship. A relationship built on lies, until one day she gets a knock at the door.. This brings forth trust issues with herself and those she wants to let into her life. From questioning if she really ever, truly, knows someone.. To feeling safe with someone from a blind date..
Milo Hart!! The mystery, the man with one big looming secret full of danger. Does he tell her or does he keep it to himself?
What happens when your past is still effecting your present?
What do you when your ex won't leave you alone?.. Do you run or do you face it head on and unleash the truth?...
Well, I can't answer that for you. You'll have to read the book.
I was reeling trying to understand what the big secret was and how Stormi would take it. I had so many speculations. I loved Rayne, he was so protective of his sister each step of the way. Zuri, reminded me of some of my friends, protective, yet simultaneously helping me let loose. I adored the way Milo conquered his fears and came clean, giving way for love vs survival.

What are you hiding?

This book had me hooked from the prologue. Their blind date was so refreshing after what Stormi went through in her past relationship. Then we find out she's a teacher and I fell in love with how the author adequately described Stormi's love as an educator.
The entire time, I kept trying to peg what Milo was hiding figuring it was related to Stormi's ex but I was wrong! I do have a few questions still about Milo's situation and his relationship to Malcolm but that doesn't take away from the story.
Spice level a two not too much but enough implications are made. The ending and prologue were a little too sappy for me but provided the closure needed to make a happy ending.

Ooh Whee

This book took me through so many emotions it’s not even funny. Stormi had been through a lot esp with her ex Darren so she focused on her work as a teacher. Going out on a double date with her best friend Zuri she meets Milo and Malcolm. Immediately taking a liking to Milo she was slow to trust bc of her past and with good reason. Darren’s skeletons come to light and in the worst way possible. Zuri is a great friend and wing woman for Stormi. Rayne is a great big brother to Stormi and always has her back. Her students mean the world to her and you see just how much. Milo’s secrets come out but he has a reason behind it bc it’s not his fault. Their relationship was a great thing to read and experience in this book. Great read and I love it all

Ummm

I wanted to like this book but it was not for me. I see what the author was trying to do. But imo it was poorly executed and there were so many missing details and information that maybe would have allowed things to make sense. Also the fact that her ex boyfriend got off Scot free after all that scamming makes no sense to me. The FEDs have a 99 percent conviction rate and you’re telling me he was about of the 1 percent? There were no consequences for his actions? Then even have that apart of the story line? Anyway someone else may like this book but it simply wasn’t for me.

Stormi & Milo’s story was one for the books! I love how perfectly imperfect their story was. And how Kiriah balances tension and tenderness in the book. And my girl Zuri was probably my fav character! I loved the friendship between Stormi and her. And how she always had the best advice and support to give Stormi throughout the whole book. I thoroughly enjoyed this story & can’t wait for what’s next☺️🤎

ARC Review:
I absolutely loved Milo & Stormi. Picture this… you are both holding back due to past lives and secrets, a lot of secrets. You want to move forward but are to afraid to do so. Is this truly love at first sight or can you let this attraction pass you by? Is it enough to push through and go for what you really desire?

Finding out your ex is a fraud is one thing but to be accused of being a fraud is another! Run! Don’t walk and see what happens next!

secrets and love

Love Unscripted was a smooth, heartfelt read. The chemistry felt real, the emotions were strong, and the characters pulled me in from the start. It had the perfect balance of drama, romance, and growth. A solid, enjoyable story that kept my attention the whole way through.

FMC would not take a chill pill.

I do get why him letting her know he was in witness protection was important. But it should be obvious why he waited. Rayne rubbed me the wrong way the entire book. But, he just wanted the best for his sister. Solid book

not bad

The book wasn’t bad. It dragged a little and the female main character was a little annoying how she got mad at him for not telling her the truth in the beginning.

Baby, this book ate. From the first chapter, I knew I was in for a ride, and sis did not disappoint. It gave grown, real, vulnerable love—the kind that doesn’t come easy but is so worth it once it shows up.

The chemistry between the characters was undeniable, and I loved that their love wasn’t picture-perfect—it was messy, healing, and deeply intentional. Kiriah did such a beautiful job exploring what it means to love again after pain and to show up for someone and yourself at the same time.

This story was romantic without being overly fluffy, real without being too heavy, and gave just enough spice to keep me locked in.
