Bella's motto has always been that you can choose to watch life pass you by or your can be the one spinning the world. You have to get out and live, life won't come to you!
Bella has always seen things in the world with a different view and has been an avid story-teller. She is enjoying putting her crazy musings into print for others to enjoy.
To her, one of the most exciting parts of writing is getting a chance to interact with readers. It is truly her hope that readers will reach out and tell her what they like and even don't like about her stories. She's looking forward to a relationship with the readers to better write stories they will love.

This series just gets better and better! This left my head spinning! Amazing and incredible! I continue to be amazed at this story. Shay is a hot mess but so are Eli and Aiden. This trio cannot stay out of trouble. Shay is released from jail but has an entirely new mess to contend with in addition to the already problematic Specter. She is learning some life lessons about her love life, family, and her enemy. Shay wants nothing more than to protect those that are close to her but has to find a way to do it herself. This is another story that I cannot give spoilers on without giving the entire story away. The series is dark but we don't miss out on the snarky attitudes we have come to love with these characters.
A few of my favorites...
"My body is covered from head to toe in scar tissue. Reminders left behind by those that would own me, break me, destroy me, force me into submission to mold me into something that I'm not and never want to be."
“Get the f**k off the struggle bus, Shay.” She unbuckles the straps on her heels and kicks them off. “If there's one thing I've learned from the recent past is that it's better to fail on your own than to fail at someone else's whim.”
“I've finally made the realization that my only real hero is me.”
And there are many more! The story picks up right where it left off and continues to move swift. You get points of view from all angles. This is truly a series that keeps you guessing and wanting more. The best way to describe this is INCREDIBLE! And, in true Bella Roccaforte fashion, there is a massive cliffhanger! Go read this now!
Note: This book was provided by the author for an honest review.
Holy cliffhanger! I can honestly say I am mad at Bella Roccaforte. How could you do this to me! How can you just stop right where you did? You know that it's a good book when an author can evoke so much emotion out of a reader. I have loved this series from book one. I honestly can say I was not expecting what happened in this one. This book is much darker than the other books in the series. This epic Rollercoaster of emotions will have you screaming at the end of this one. Though not as humorous as previous books, this one still has it's zingy one liners and quick witted snips. Which flows quickly with the pace of the plot. The characters are way different in this one. Some I want to personally kill off! Shay has gone from meek to warrior woman. She has more of a crazy don't mess with me attitude. Eli oh Eli. I can't say more than that. No spoliers here! If you love the Ink Series this is a must. But be warned you will be hanging by tooth and nail waiting for the next one.
Once I started reading this book I could not book it down. It moved along at a good pace, has amazing characters and a great story. This is a must read and you will not be sorry.
So the Ink series has been a current obsession of mine. Shay can captivate and twist you I'm ways you never thought imaginable. This series is intense and will hook you don't plan on putting it down once you start.
This picked up right where the last book ended. The "dead" come back to life and old faces reappear, although not necessarily for the best. Aiden - not dead, back from Africa.Whatever he does there is still unclear. At least Shay is out of jail, since Aiden's alive she obviously didn't kill him.
Eli is drinking again due to a misunderstanding, but the worst part is he's now abusive. I really lost respect for him. It seems he just wants any excuse to drink. I don't care that he doesn't remember it the next day, it's unacceptable. First Shay tries to excuse him and forgive. Then she realizes she's one of "those women". Yes, turns out even the most innocent can justify a drunk abuser's behavior. Good for Shay for eventually kicking his ass to the curb. I'd like to see him suffer a nice right hook.
Of course Shay's father, the former police commissioner tries to justify Eli's behavior by saying how "difficult" Shay can be. OK 1- there is NEVER.EVER. an excuse to hit a woman. Any guy who does should have his balls cut off b/c he sure doesn't deserve them. Shay's dad is the stereotypical sexist who thinks a woman who's hit "did" something. I really hope the Spectre takes this douche out. And 2. Aren't cops supposed to help people? No, instead this misogynistic douche does everything but. He even eliminates someone he feels is a threat (I won't tell you who, but I will say I was actually rooting for HER more than anyone else who was surrounding Shay). And what's this "Organization",eh Harry? You need to come clean mother fucker...
I love that Shay became stronger, not needing either man (Aiden or Eli) in her life. She's becoming quite the independent woman.
The end was quite a ride, and Shay is put away somewhere that she doesn't deserve to be - at least I don't think so. People and things we thought might be paranormal, aren't and vice verse. I really am looking forward to book 5 !!
Oh my goodness. Here I was, thinking that we might get some answers - you know, as we are approaching the final book in the series. I mean, is that too much to ask?
Well, apparently, the answer to that question is a resounding "HELL YES". It seems that the author is jealously guarding all the resolutions to the problems plaguing our poor heroine since the start of the book. But not only that, she throws more at us too!
Harry - not even going to go there - judge for yourself
Aiden - where has he been?
Eli - just.....no
And then that ending? Well, less of an ending, and more of a precarious dangle from a glorious Dover beauty spot. Yep. Cliffhanger. Of epic proportions.
All I will say is that I need the final book. Anytime really, really soon would be good.
I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Does this wild ass ride ever stop? What is up with Aiden? and the ending, seriously! Bella girl, you better get to writing. I don't know what is next for Shay, can she defeat the spector? but I have to know like now!
