Tara Hamilton hates my guts. I didn’t do anything special; it’s the same ole’ tired high school rivalry bullshit. It’s about a boy. Canaan Lakes. Canaan has been certified man-whore but she doesn't seem to recognize that. Our time together is often misconstrued. Canaan and my dad went to college together which made us best friends by default.
I’m not after her man, I want her last name. Tyler Hamilton is my target; I’m trying to be her sister-in-law. After crashing Tara’s graduation party, I earned one steamy night with Tyler but we agreed to go our separate ways the rest of the summer.
Now that Canaan is my college roommate, his flirty banter becomes more serious, his kisses and touches linger, and his eye contact is more intense. He is making it impossible to deny that something is brewing between us. Coincidentally, Tyler has reentered the chat and is more than willing to run back the magical night we shared three months prior.
Canaan or Tyler? Tyler or Canaan? What am I to do?
My only complaint is that it ended on a cliff hanger. The story was good without all the unnecessary cliches. This throuple does a great job communicating and meeting each other where they are. That’s why the ending threw me off. Excited for part 2.
