The side stories were of Jinwoo's son Sooho walking into his dad's footsteps. Basically a segue into the new spin off Solo Leveling: Ragnarok. Ant's a great character. Crying all the time. hehe
It's the second (and last) batch of extras, illustrated by Disciples, presumably of the original artist. They do a good job.
These stories are about Sung Jinwoo's son, Suho, who turns out to have inherited some his father's monarch powers, much to the parents' surprise. Sung Jinwoo decides to bind the powers, until it's time to put Suho through a test. It sets the stage for the follow-up, Solo Leveling Ragnarok.
This has been a great series. I'll do a re-read the moment I have time. But first, Ragnarok. (First season out on Tapas.)
the final volume of solo leveling, much like the preceding volume, this is really just a collection of epilogue side stores, mostly following Sung Jin Woo's son as he begins to come into his powers, setting up the sequel series. It's ok, there's not really much else in the way of story though if you wondered what happened to various secondary characters after the time-reset several of them do have cameos, which is nice. Otherwise, kind of superfluous to the series as a whole (even compared to the previous volume). Still, it's nice to look at.
Another fun side story collection, though I have to say I wasn't always that much into it as there was a lot of focus on the son. I guess logical since I learned there is going to be a sequel to this manga and he will be one of the main if not the main. Still fun side stories and I loved seeing more of our MC and see him grow up (or well, see him adjust his appearance to match his age) + see him work at a his job. The ant made me laugh though, the poor fella!
I watched the anime adaptation of Solo Leveling first and got so invested that I couldn’t wait for the next season, so I jumped straight into the manga — despite usually not being much of a manga reader. The story is just as gorgeous and engaging on the page as it is in the anime, with fast-paced fights, strong story progression, and none of the dragged-out feeling that a lot of other series can fall into. I ended up binge-reading the entire series back to back and loved every second of it.
2.5 🌟 Everything with the son learning to fight was just so mehhhhh, the other side stories were the more typical manwha side stories I would expect and I didn’t mind them, but that had me really skimming over.
Love Beru. Could easily read a volume about him alone. Pretty much just tidying up loose ends, saying a final goodbye and moving into legacy territory. Looks like the new hero is getting an absent father. Looking forward to the next series.

AND NOW THE TORCH IS PASSED TO SUHO. so happy for jinwoo and cha like they DID THAT. POWER COUPLE. POWERFUL ASS CHILD OMG. i wonder where this is going to go and if there is going to be a spin off ...
This volume is still not available in English, but hopefully it will be released by my fifth rereading in about six months. This volume contained the second half of the side stories and also advanced the story to set up the next series, Ragnarok. Ah, with that, my fourth rereading of the series comes to a close, and now I shall continue reading other books, so enjoy and have a Happy New Year, and Keep on Reading.
I have always loved comics, and I can, and I have. I love comics to bits; may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more. You should also read what you love, and I hope you will always love it. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics, Mangas, Mahwas, and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I just want to Keep on Reading.
watched the anime in about 2 nights & then read the manhwa from ch. 108 to the end in about.2 nights. love the story. even tho he wins every single time n there isnt hardship bc he is just THAT strong, i love a book that loves humanity and kindness and a utopian dream. its so fun reading something that goes the way u want it to--- no anxiety no fear. and bc its super fun so its a quick read, no need to rack ur brain for puzzles and riddles. i love beru. i cant wait for the rest to get animated.
now obviiiii if i were to rate it frfr with standards, then it'd be 3 stars for lack of plot, too much plot armor, lack of character development, wonderful world build potential but lack of it at all, lack of connecxn w side characters etc but as a utopian read, 5 stars lol

Given the inevitable endpoint of Jinwoo's apathetic rise to becoming an all-powerful being, it's not surprising that Volume 13 landed as anticlimactic. And while I'm all for a good victory lap (just look at my love for Haikyu!! and its well-earned conclusion), these two concluding volumes felt unnecessary.
I can seem how the extended stories were intended to humanize Jinwoo, but the alternate timeline does little beyond imbuing his lingering issues with heavy-handed sentimentality and offering resolutions that feel unearned. And mostly it comes across as a thinly disguised pivot into a sequel setup. With its overlap with elements from The Daily Life of the Immortal King, this is feeling like the same storyline stretched thin and recycled once more.
It's disappointing that the series never recaptured the sense of humor that it had in its earlier installments.
As bittersweet the ending was in Solo Leveling, I'm glad we got two extra volumes of side stories for Jinwoo and the rest of the cast of characters. It eases the pain a little bit of seeing some of them at least have a recollection of what happened in the previous world. This volume focuses more on Jinwoo's son as he grows and the reader learns about the types of powers he has. The volume ends open ended, giving us a chance to imagine a future where either Jinwoo or his son are needed once again to save humankind.
To ensure his son Suho grows up with a normal childhood, Jinwoo locks away any Monarch traits he inherited until the time is right, leaving a teenage Sunho caught off guard when he gets transported to a realm of deadly beasts years later - yet eager to battle his way to victory as his new powers flourish! Chugong and Disciples draw one era to a close while paving a promising new one in this final series of epilogue chapters, a charming sendoff and action-packed glimpse of future endeavors.
personally, i really did not enjoy a lot of the epilogue lol (so this is technically a review for volumes 14 and 15). most of it read like poor fanfic. i’ll admit that his son is pretty cool and i’ll keep reading ragnarok but overall, meh. an epilogue was definitely needed after that rushed ending but i don’t think that this was the way to go.

This was less side stories than a setup for the new series. The pacing was EXTREME. Nearly a montage. Maybe actually a montage. I don’t think it is at all necessary to read this volume as part of the Solo Leveling series. But I love being in the universe, so I wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity to live there a little longer. And it did get me curious about what comes next.
A decent enough ending for a badass series. The epilogue was a bit too extended for my liking. But irrespectively, I liked some parts of it. Like the what if scenario was interesting. The side character dives, were pretty intense. The Little Monarch thing was cute at best. But overall, it felt unnecessary. The story ended brilliantly. Could have just left it at that.
It is a great story, but the timeline in the middle of the book at the last part was a little confusing. I just wish that I understood why in a world where there were no gates all of a sudden there are gates and it’s just very confusing.
I think these part two side stories were done really well. It was a great translation from the light novel to the manhwa. I guess I’ll have to reread the light novels and the manhwas all over again now.
