When a battle-worn Highlander steps out of the mist and into her world, Jenna Sinclair must decide if risking her heart – and believing the impossible – is worth a chance at timeless love.
Cormac MacBayne wants a wife and the witch, Edna Campbell, has the perfect woman in mind. The only problem is they’re separated by five hundred years and thousands of miles.
Fresh from a bad marriage, Jenna Sinclair has sworn off men – that is until a handsome highlander comes out of the fog and into her life. He’s a mystery and possibly part of an elaborate practical joke concocted by her cousin. Jenna’s had enough deception in her life. Can she risk everything to be with a man who is so obviously lying to her?
Absolutely THE most annoying female character EVER! I struggled so hard to finish this! This whiny, spoiled, rude a$$ btch was continuously abusive in her treatment of the hot, infinitely patient and constantly forgiving hero, which was excruciatingly frustrating to read! For the first time EVER, I wished the “happily ever after” ending was going to be him FINALLY kicking her sorry a$$ to the curb, once and for all, to make room for someone who was actually worthy of a nice guy like him! The first book in this series was so great and I do plan to read the third but I tell ya, if that one starts looking like it’s going down the path of this one? It’ll be going on my DNF shelf, for sure! I will NOT struggle through another one of these! Ugh!!!

I loved the first novel in the series, and was excited to read the second novel. Unfortunately the main female character was so childish and spoiled that I disliked her from the start. The rest of the plot was good, with the crazy ex husband. It was disappointing.
A nice time travel romance with several Americans ending up in Scotland about 500 years ago, some of them unexpectedly. Some of them fall in love, some stay for the fun of it. Lots of details on what it was supposedly like in Scotland for the Americans and what it is like in current day San Francisco for the Scot. A fun read.
I found the story was good but too many errors in misspelling or wrong person answering questions or statements. It was frustrating to have to re-read the sentence to identify who was replying, but overall it was good!
I just love these books, this has been a great read, with a great storyline and characters. This story is of Cormac and Jenna and Jenna’s ex husband, who follows them through the fog. Well worth reading
