Lady Celine meets the Duke, Rhys, in an effort to escape a chase & he enlists her help in marriage. They both have secrets hidden from their past but none the less each finds an attraction to each other & search for a balance in their marriage that began of convenience. And it begins that way but love finds a way of changing their lives forever.
The story started out to be really good, however as time went on it seemed to become repetitive with Rys having to continually coddle Celine's fears and phobias of people and childbearing. Even into the extended epilogue Celine still needed affirmation that she was strong, etc.
I loved the whole story, the characters, pretty much everything abut t. But I felt shortchanged at the end and w have just had an epilogue, not have to ask for one
