Start Strong by my sister in law Krisan Marotta is not just an excellent resource for new Christians, it is an excellent resource for non-Christians to understand what our faith is all about. Well written, well-ordered chapters lay out the fundamentals of faith in Christ. What it means; what it doesn’t mean; how it is misunderstood; and much more, are all covered in easy to understand prose and engaging stories and examples. I can easily see Start Strong taking its place alongside long time foundational Christian books such as Mere Christianity and Knowing God. Each chapter includes a summary, a list of scriptures where the reader can, “see for yourself,” and a prompt for reflection. Do yourself a favor and pick up Start Strong. Better yet, do your neighbors a favor and pick up Start Strong for them!

Easy to read, engaging and helpful. A very practical, winsome book for new believers or really for anyone who wants to be more thoughtful about their faith. I highly recommend this interesting book!
