Spring has sprung in Seaview, Maine—and so has a shocking murder!
Spring in Seaview, Maine should mean daffodils, warm breezes, and comfort food at The Lighthouse Diner. But when Gus serves his famous Sunday Pot Roast Special, the meal comes with an unexpected murder.
Councilman Richard Crandall, known for his sharp tongue and sharper dealings, collapses in his booth before dessert. At first, suspicion falls on Gus’s beloved pot roast—until Hazel discovers a small brown bottle hidden beneath the table. Poison, not gravy, was the real culprit.
Packed with humor, small-town charm, and a mystery slow-cooked to perfection, Pot Roast Revenge proves that in Seaview, revenge is a dish best served with poison.
Disappointed in this one. I read the 3 previous books and began to suspect they may be AI created or just poorly edited. Names of characters kept changing. In previous books Millie was the waitress and Hazel was the newcomer who solved the murders. Not in this book. Other inconsistencies made reading this a chore. I finished it just to finish it but won't be reading any more of them. It's a shame because I enjoyed the first couple a lot.
