Scent matches, second chances, and soulmates in a sweetangst small town.At eighteen I was crowned our small town’s June Bloom Queen and won an all-expenses paid trip to California. From farm girl to pampered princess, it felt like a magical dream. Especially when I smelled my alpha scent matches across the room at a Hollywood party and went into my first ever omega heat. But three days of passion and promises meant nothing when my heat ended, and they snuck out of my hotel room without a backward glance. Fast forward a decade and I’m running our family’s farm and a single mom to Leo, my perfect oops baby from my Californian heat. Logan, my alpha neighbor, is Leo’s dad in every way that matters, and now he's out of the Marines, we’re getting bonded in the fall. Until three Hollywood bigshots roll into town. A world-famous actor, an investment tycoon, and the photographer who finds my flower farm so enchanting, he wants to use it in his big marketing campaign. But he doesn’t know that his alphas are my scent matches – and that one of them is Leo’s biological dad. They’re here to make amends, but the last thing I need is them messing up my life. What was a fairytale at eighteen is now a crisis-in-the-making, especially because they’re trying so hard… and they smell so damn good! I just need to work the farm, protect Leo, and keep my head… especially with my next heat right around the corner…
This is a standalone why choose romance with small town vibes and a well-earned HEA.

I wish I could say I enjoyed this but I didn't, it should've just been a MMM story 😑 I loved House of Omega and I loved The Alpha Club, this one just hit wrong. I don't love the idea of the guys taking a mate other than the FMC but I'll accept it since both sides were tricked and the FMC also had an Alpha for herself (although he was also absent so she really got the short end of the straw twice) but as the MMCs try to reunite with the FMC, their mate Tristain won't. Fucking. Stop. Inserting. Himself. LET THEM HAVE ONE FUCKING MOMENT WITH LILY, HOLYYYY SHIT 🫠
Seriously, Tristan pops up ruining the moment MULTIPLE TIMES. "uM dId I iNtErRuPt sOmEtHiNg?" YES YOU DID, MULTIPLE TIMES, GTFO! He ruined their moment at least 3 times, dude GTFOOOO 😩🤌🤌 And when they're alone without the FMC, it's all MM and Tristan this Tristan that.
I cannot emphasize this enough: Tristan needs to GTFO. Final straw was when Ellis chose Tristan over his scent-match and mother of his child (he was like, aS lOnG aS sHe cAn cOhAbIt wItH tRiStAn sHe cAn sTaKe hEr cLaIm*, like I'm sorry but YOU'RE THE ONES TRYING TO WIN HER BACK???) Tristan can wait for 2 seconds while YOU put in some god damn effort for your SCENT MATCH AND MOTHER OF YOUR CHILD?! like fuck these guys for real, the FMC deserves better.

I really loved this book! Lily is such a strong omega — she’s been through so much, used to people leaving, and has learned to carry everything on her own shoulders while doing absolutely anything to protect her son, Leo. Her resilience and quiet strength made her such a compelling and emotional protagonist. Leo is such a sweet, well-behaved, and intelligent child — he understands what’s going on far more than people give him credit for. The bond he shares with Lily is beautiful, and it was heartwarming to see how quickly he picks up on the dynamics around him, especially with the men who step in to care for and protect him. Logan was fantastic. He’s attentive, protective, present and genuinely supportive of both Lily and Leo. Tristan, Otley, and Ellis were also wonderful. They’re reliable, and always ready to step in and help Lily, and now that they find her again, it’s clear they’re not going anywhere. I loved how each relationship was allowed to develop at its own pace, feeling natural and earned, and how every single one of them showed up not just for Lily but also for Leo. I also really appreciated the balance of the book — it gives just as much space to the emotional journey and the plot as it does to the spicy moments, making the story feel grounded and well-balanced.

This book was more than worth the wait. I love Roxy and I was finally FINALLY fast enough to get an ARC. I’ve been waiting for this one since she first teased it in the Facebook group and it did not disappoint. If anything, it exceeded my expectations. I think this is my new favorite of her books. Lily was the best. We love a strong, independent, single mom FMC. All her mates were down bad generationally. We had the friends to lovers alpha, the golden retriever alpha, the overprotective gruff alpha, and a sexy beta soulmate which is my kryptonite. Also I love when the boyfriends are boyfriends. The plot was as sweet as cherry pie (iykyk) with a lawful evil miscommunication trope (unfortunately necessary), a chaotic good forced proximity trope, no third act breakup, and general good vibes all around. I was skeptical because Roxy claimed it was a “more of a slow burn.” We did have to wait a whopping 32 pages for cunnilingus, but this is what I paid my money to see so I am not complaining. My only feedback is that since it takes place in the *heat* of the summer, reading this in December just made me remember how much I hate snow. I think it’s summer in Australia though. Either way, my heart is so full. I hope that Roxy builds out the world of Knotty Falls with books about Kaysie and Mark and maybe even Aunt Maggie.
Lily is the definition of a mama bear, fierce, protective, and completely devoted to her son, Leo. Watching her balance motherhood with a second-chance, why-choose romance felt genuine and earned, not rushed or forced.
Lily is a strong FMC who puts her child first while still allowing herself the space to love again. Logan loving her enough to step back and let her explore her scent matches? Green flag behavior. Tristan, the beta, was pure sweetness and truly the glue holding the pack together. Ellis and Otley rounded out the group perfectly, each of them clearly working through past damage and finding their way back together.
And Leo? Absolute scene-stealer. Every moment he was on page made the story better.
The spice was definitely there but well paced, and the plot kept moving without dragging. Emotional, sexy, and surprisingly warm.
Highly recommend if you love protective FMCs, found family, and why-choose romance done right.

Knot A Bed Of Roses by Roxy Collins is a second chance, why choose omegaverse story. I loved Lily. What a tough, smart Omega doing what she had to do. I loved the people she has surrounded herself with. Loved the guys but Tristan was just special. Loved how they reacted/treated Leo. Such a good story.
I wanted GROVELING. What I got instead were two MMCs who had forgotten about their scent match and gone and found themselves another mate. WTF? I agree with a previous reviewer, this storyline should have just been MMM and left Logan and Lily as a separate M/F story.
I really, really wanted to like this story. And I did enjoy some aspects of it, but... It pretty much just turned the main character into a stereotype. She let these guys who wronged her for over a decade sweep in with their endless money and BUY HER. Every single moment another offer of an obscene amount of money was given, I was waiting for her to tell them the money made her uncomfortable for so many reasons, and she just... Didn't. It felt like the author built up this "down home farmer" omega, and then the minute "her" alphas started throwing around money, she just accepted it - and them - like it wasn't fundamentally different from who we'd been led to believe she was. There's also a lot of physical stuff at what I felt were really inappropriate times. Trying to shoehorn in smexy times just to raise the spice level doesn't make for good storytelling. It didn't feel cohesive or sensible.
I absolutely loved Lily’s story! The way her and her men find their way back together was perfect and I enjoyed them getting to know each other again and winning her back. I’ll never pass up a Roxy Collin’s book, I’m obsessed with her omegaverse
1) Like my title says, it just didn’t feel as though the FMC had any agency in her own life. Things happened to her, but she didn’t get to make decisions or choices about who she was and what she did. 2) Almost everyone in her life abandoned her in some way. Her birth parents, all 3 alphas, even her adoptive mom. And she just never stood up for herself. She never even acknowledged those feelings of abandonment and how damaging it all was to her self-esteem. 3) Every single one of the guys failed her and never truly made amends. Otley & Ellis walked out after her first heat and prioritized others instead of ensuring that Lily knew they’d be back for her. Granted, Ellis’s uncle was mostly at fault, but they failed her. Logan failed her repeatedly. He kept leaving and coming back. Yes, he was deployed, but it never felt like Lily was his priority at all. She was a yo-yo, his backup plan and she just waited for him like a doormat. Tristan went behind her back to set up his client using her farm for an advertising campaign even though she said no. Then the client showed up, ruined crops, and acted like a slimeball to her while he just stood there. 3) Despite the fact that each of these guys failed her, none of them really make amends. She just is like “oh well, it’s over now.” Logan doesn’t need to rebuild her trust after ditching her repeatedly, even though she comes close to telling him how his negligence affected her (yes, comes close- she never lays it out for him just how much he hurt her). Ellis & Otley don’t have even apologize for the fact that they obliterated her life just by being who they were. Tristan doesn’t have to grovel for setting her up to use her, having her crops ruined & be skeeved out by that scumbag. Newsflash: love doesn’t cover all sins. Lack of character is a passion killer. 4) This is the big one, the one which kept me awake at night. Lily doesn't feel safe enough with any of them to tell them how she really feels. She just swallows down her feelings with Tristan- never telling him how him going behind her back made her life so much harder. And then she caves and sells out to the slimeball because she thinks she has no choice. She never even thinks about telling Ellis how him leaving her after her heat broke her or how unsafe she felt when his popularity destroyed her life. With Logan, she swallows her feelings because his matter more. She doesn't want to hurt him by revealing to him the depth of the pain he inflicted on her. But that leaves her carrying the burden of forgiving him without him really re-earning her trust. And Otley? Well, she tried to tell him her point of view. He interrupted her. He didn't want to hear it. She had a complete breakdown on the plane on her way home from their abandonment. She had to be sedated and now has panic attacks about heights. And they don't care enough to hear how they caused that. It really disturbs me how she buried her own feelings of pain, betrayal, and lack of safety so that they could feel better about themselves. Where is the chance for her to heal? Where is their chance to make amends and build a stronger relationship? It makes me think the HEA in this one will be temporary. At some point, she'll realize she's been burying her truth in favor of their comfort. How can that foster a strong, lasting relationship? This will become a pattern: she shrinks herself in favor of their feelings. There's nothing in this book about their relationship that suggests otherwise. Eventually, she'll realize that their "love" is only surface-level because she can't be her authentic self with them.
I’m not sorry I finished this one, but I can tell this is going to sit awkwardly with me until I can find something better to read.

I’m honestly torn between giving this 3 or 4 stars, because I have very mixed feelings about this book.
Knot a Bed of Roses has a genuinely interesting and promising premise. It starts with a shared heat during which the FMC and the MMCs realise they are scent matches. However, an agent who lies to both sides causes the FMC and MMCs to be separated for ten years. When the agent dies, Otley, one of the MMCs, discovers old documents and the truth finally comes out: Lily has been living on a farm in Idaho for the past decade and has a son.
Up to this point, I really enjoyed the story. I liked that Lily is portrayed as a capable single mother who managed to raise her child on her own, without the MMCs, and built a stable life for herself.
However, there are two major aspects that didn’t work for me.
The first is Logan. Logan is Lily’s childhood crush who joined the Marines after school. He is considered part of her family and has emotionally accepted Lily’s son as his own, but he was almost always deployed and rarely present during those ten years. Despite supposedly loving each other deeply, they never spent a night together, not even a heat. Then, suddenly, after he leaves the Marines, they enter a romantic relationship. Unfortunately, I found this relationship unconvincing and emotionally flat. I didn’t feel any real connection between them, and to me, Logan felt redundant to the overall story.
The second issue is Ellis. One of the MMCs, he is absent so often that I struggled to see his importance in Lily’s life. He was constantly somewhere else, rarely present when it mattered, which made it difficult to form any emotional attachment or sense of connection.
Ironically, the only relationship that felt genuinely believable to me was Lily’s connection with Tristan, the beta mate of the MMCs.
Overall, the idea behind the book is strong and full of potential, but the execution fell short in some key areas. With deeper character development and more convincing relationships, this could have been a much stronger read.

I'm not usually a small town romance kinda gal, but I'm a sucker for omegaverse and a secret baby plotline, and I've enjoyed other works by Collins. Knot a Bed of Roses didn't disappoint! It's predictable in a sweet, nostalgic sort of way. The perfect sort of read to cozy up to as winter is giving way to spring, and all those pretty flowers are popping up around town just like they do at Rosie's Blooms. What takes it to the next level is the characters and the chemistry between them, something Collins never does by halves. It's simultaneously a slow burn that'll make you clutch your pearls and so hot you'll be tearing them off.
Lily is a wonderful character, as a hardworking businesswoman and single momma who takes no shit from anybody--not even her scent matches. She's firm, and she gives as good as she gets, but she's not bitchy for no reason. She puts family first and would fight to hell and back for her loved ones. A true example of a strong heroine in a contemporary romance. Kaysie, her best friend, was a riot. All the guys were so charming in their own ways--the perfect amount of lover sweet and Alpha possessive. I loved them all, and I hope to see some of these side characters get their own books (All of Logan's sexy marine friends, for example...) should there be more in the makings!
The story's pace was perfect throughout, and the complex relationship dynamics and various dramas that had to be worked through ensured there was never a dull moment despite the small town setting. Sometimes, a second chance romance is an excuse for unnecessary messes and miscommunications. This time, they work it out like mature adults (!) with communication (!!) which is always welcome. I especially enjoyed how the two groups (Lily, Logan, and Leo and Ellis, Otley, and Tristan) came together to complement each other within a new family unit, even after years apart and so many misunderstandings between them. Was it a little unrealistic? Maybe, but this is an omegaverse romance novel. We want everything to work out perfectly in that lovely romance HEA way, and that's just what we get. 5 stars!
I loved this story so much. It weaves together several of my favorite tropes single parent, secret child, rejected mate, and second chances into a beautifully messy, emotional package that completely worked for me.
Lily is an omega who goes into her first heat while visiting California, where she unexpectedly encounters two of her scent matches. Each believes the other doesn’t want them, thanks to outside interference. Heartbroken, Lily returns to Idaho carrying both emotional scars and a small, life-changing gift that forever ties her to the mates she left behind.
Logan has been a steady, semi-constant presence in Lily and little Leo’s life. Though he’s in the Marines, he always makes time to come home and be there for them. When he finally decides to move back for good, he and Lily begin to truly build something together. Logan is dependable, protective, and deeply devoted to both Lily and her son.
Then there’s Tristan, who unintentionally stumbles into Lily’s life at Rosie’s Blooms. His instant attraction to her is undeniable. He is pure sunshine in beta form a calming, gentle presence. After meeting Leo, Tristan realizes how closely the boy resembles his pack and rushes back to his alpha, Otley, to explain. Otley is the grumpy, dominant business tycoon type and fiercely protective of his pack.
When Ellis blows into town, everything Lily has worked so hard to build her home, her business, her sense of stability is suddenly at risk. Ellis, the famous movie star, is nothing short of a golden retriever in alpha form, bringing chaos, charm, and long-buried truths with him.
Leo absolutely stole my heart. Wise beyond his nine years, he isn’t fazed by learning that his father is a famous actor. He’s smart, curious, and full of love, and the bond he shares with the men in his life is incredibly touching. I loved him instantly, and he added so much warmth and heart to the story.
This was an emotional, satisfying read filled with love, growth, and second chances, and I couldn’t get enough of it.
I received a free copy of this book and am leaving my honest review.
Lily wins a vacation of a lifetime however running into her scent match was not on her bingo card, but that is what happened and threw her into her first heat ever. It was all and more until she come out of it then it was her worst nightmare. 19 yrs later she is a single mother trying to make it while her mother is taking a much needed holiday travel across the country. Having her best friend, her child hood crush there while she is getting ready for the busy season helps but she still has her insecurities, then comes Tristan who flips her life upside down when she gives him a tour of her farm. But the shocks keep coming when she has her scent matches also come into her home town and she has to come to terms with they are there for her. This sweet RH why choose Omegaverse is a HEA but will have you in your emotions
Was hooked by the intro, did not read the authors notes because there were no forewarning on Kindle that made me think I needed to, packs have betas in them and not as fuck toys. The story started off pretty good, they meet they spend her heat together, and then they are miss informed, by third party, and spend 10 years apart, later they turn up, and are gay and have formed a pack with a beta as their center. And that's where I stopped reading. Then I read the authors notes, I get everyone having love or whatever, but why not write a separate book, just my opinion, maybe more warning before someone buys a book, like so many authors in this genre.

I just adored Lily's story. Despite moments of heartbreak, there was so much love shining from the pages. It's a truly heartwarming read, and had me invested from the get go. Lily's is just the sweetest. Her past has made her emotionally vulnerable, but she keeps moving forward. She's a strong, hard working, driven woman, who cares so much for her friends and family, that she constantly puts her needs and wants last. The guys in her life, woooahhh! 😍😍 Loved the dynamic between them all. Their devotion and outpouring of love for Lily was just the damn sweetest thing. The small town romance feel was just perfect. An absolutely gorgeous Omegaverse romance that had me staying up late to finish it.
Knot a Bed of Roses is a cute and sweet second chance romance. I love a bunch of Roxy Collins books but this one definitely has a different feel to it. Lily is trying to be strong for everyone but you can tell she needs help, for herself, her family flower shop, and most importantly, her son. I love Logan so much, I wish we got more of him during other people's POVs, but this story was distributed evenly throughout the characters. Honestly though, all the men in this story are just amazing for Lily. I love Leo and how she named him, you can clearly tell that they were always meant to be a family. Her Mate, Her Scent Matches, and Her Soulmate… each man completes a part of her.
I knew this book was going to be amazing from the moment Roxy announced it, but it was even better than I thought. Reading Lily’s journey to forgiveness and allowing herself the chance to be happy hit very close to home and I felt so proud of her for allowing herself to take the chance of being happy. Otley, Ellis, Logan and Tristan were the dream guys and so patient with her. I loved the lengths they went to for her forgiveness and to make her happy. This book was worth the read and I’d recommend this to anyone who loves Omegaverse or second chance romance!
I saw a review saying that she let them in and buy her. But I’ll disagree on that, she didn’t let them really buy things at all throughout 90% of the book haha. The money they constantly offered? She denied or was so overwhelmed she’d distract herself. She took a campaign job for $70k, Tristan worked this campaign. She didn’t just take the money, she allowed them to use her flower farm for the campaign. Also with the spice, it was mostly MM and small moments with one claiming scene before the 75% mark. As parents, sometimes you do have to sneak away lol. But this book was hardly spicy so I also dont agree that spice was just thrown in there. I normally don’t make a response towards other reviews but it was a bit misleading because I almost didn’t read it because of that.😅
Okay my thoughts on the book: POSSIBLE SPOILERS FYI
I’ve been looking forward to this book for awhile, when I had seen it in my library from pre-ordering I was suuuuper stoked lol. But it did fall flat for me, unfortunately.
I understand that they spent a decade apart, but even after they find out that neither side were at fault it stayed at an extremely slow pace. I mean she has one actual interc0urse scene on page with Logan before 75% and the rest was MM and just second/third base. So if you’re looking for spice it’s not really there.
My biggest issue is how Otley and Ellis so easily bonded someone else while they were “grieving” not having Lily. I mean, Lily couldn’t even do that with Logan even though she knew him since they were teens. Yes, I know it’s partially because he was enlisted but let’s be for real right now. Tristan gets hit by a car and they all of a sudden want him and bond him even though they weren’t themselves after losing Lily? Don’t get me wrong, I love Tristan and he’s the best beta boy. Honestly, it seemed like the story leaned more towards Tristan and his alphas vs Lily and the MMC’s. Gotta have a balance.😅 It would have been better (in my opinion) to have them in a relationship with Tristan but not bonded yet until they all bond together. But then again Ellis and Otley made it clear that Tristan came first. At that point, what’s the point in a scent match?
To piggyback off of that, the acceptance from her accepting Tris, Ot and Ellis together + them accepting her + Logan together without having issues about it (not really any jealousy or anger besides from poor Logan) was a bit off putting because they’re scent matches but Tris and Logan aren’t. Typically scent matches are pretty territorial. It’s just weird how accepting they were lol. I was expecting a little more jealousy or issues to arise from that. And not just from Logan. Poor guy.
The spice, as mentioned before it’s very minimal through most of the book and half of the spice is just the start of a scene and then it ends abruptly or it just isn’t on page or detailed at all. I think out of all of the “spice scenes” there was like a third of them that were actually detailed. For a 400+ page book, it’s not much. I know it’s a slow burn but the details matter, otherwise it’s very vanilla.
I’m a sucker for second chance and secret baby romances, so I really looked forward to this one especially after binging some of the Billionaires in Heat series. Is this my favorite? No. But I’ll still recommend to others because what may not be my cup of tea will be someone else’s precious.🤍🫶🏼
This is a slow burn standalone omegaverse but once the burn happens it's 🔥🥵 It's a small town romance with a happy ending! Starts with some heartbreak but you have to keep reading, it's worth it! Lily has an incredible first heat only for things to end badly. She is a strong, independent fmc and can definitely hold her own. She hasn't had an easy life. Bring the guys back and things slowly fall into place.
• small town romance that feels big • hard earned second chances • scent match surprises • omega/beta soulmates • banter, emotions, & a well-earned HEA.
This author once again created another amazing book! Highly recommend this one!
I have loved everything by Roxy I’ve read, but this one did not hit the mark. The balance between internal thoughts and dialogue wasn’t there. There wasn’t enough dialogue for me. I missed a lot of the back and forth between characters because it was all so broken up by internal thoughts. It disconnected me from the story…
When I seen there was an available arc for a Roxy Collins Omegaverse I was YES!! 🙌🏻🫶🏻. Sign me up please 🥹.
This book also hit a couple of other tropes I love. Omegaverse with secret baby and rejected mate (but not really).
Lily was so sweet and such a hard worker. She was a single mom raising her son and running a flower farm. She’s been let down so many times. By her high school love Logan who went to the military and comes back briefly multiple times before re-enlisting again multiple times , and her scent matched alphas who spent her first heat with her then split 😔. She now spends her heats alone.
Back comes her high school love Logan. Ready to stay … ready to bond ☺️. Despite that he’s starting a business there, she’s waiting for the shoe to drop and for him to re-enlist again.
Enter Otley, one of her scent matched alphas and his beta mate Tristan. Otley has been pining after Lily for 10 years, and has discovered the truth. Last to come back is Lily’s other scent matched alpha Ellis, who is the other mate to Tristan as well. He has also been pining and has never stopped looking for her. Lily finds out early on about what really happened with her scent matched alphas, but still has a lot of hesitation.
There was just the right amount of angst and drama, and not to forget the delicious spice ❤️🔥. Hoping for a book for the best friend Kaylie.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I immediately connected with Lily, from smiling at her giddiness in the prologue to crying for her in the present. Lily is hardworking, intelligent, talented (I love that she does archery!) and a great mum. Her relationship with Leo added more realism to her character, and her strength and vulnerability conveys the sole responsibility she had with raising Leo by herself.
I felt like I was on a rollercoaster with this book: I was happy, sad, angry, excited, hot, impressed, charmed.
Logan - the marine childhood friend alpha - was also great, I loved his protective, steady presence for both Lily and Leo.
Tristan is so sweet, supportive and thoughtful. Adored him!
Ellis is the swoon-worthy movie star determined to steal Lily’s (and yours’) heart.
Otley, I had a bit of a rocky start with, but really grew to admire his character, he was much more complex than I was expecting.
I felt the pacing and the plot was good throughout the book. It felt very different from other books by Roxy Collins but still exactly her style.
I would love to visit Buds, Books and Brews (such a cute name!) and the farm, it sounds gorgeous, peaceful, and like a paradise to me.
Overall, I loved this lower angst, second chance omegaverse romance.

Roxy Collins has quickly become one of my favourite omegaverse why-choose authors. I was first introduced to her writing by the House of Omega, the first book in her Pack Companion trilogy and quickly became a fan as her writing and the world in which she was writing, somewhat reminded me of Kathryn Moon’s, Lola and The Millionaires duology (which is one of my most favourite omegaverse stories). I’m currently making my way through her backlist of omegaverse stories and having fun doing so and when offered the opportunity to read an early copy of Knot of a Bed of Roses, which I’d been looking forward to reading for a while now, I jumped at the opportunity. This book was a sweet second chance omegaverse story which captured my attention enough that I was able to briefly forget about the horrible tooth infection that I’m currently dealing with. The book, as with every book that I’ve read by this author, has both heat and heart and while the author has said that the book is a bit of a slow burn compared with her previous books, I’d have to disagree somewhat. The book has enough spice to keep omegaverse readers thoroughly entertained…and sweating, because the spice is spicy. I enjoyed every moment of reading this book and can’t wait to read the next by one of my new favourite authors.
What a sweet, second-chance, small-town omegaverse romance! If you like those tropes, you’re going to love Knot a Bed of Roses! The beginning starts off so delightful and hopeful but enter the slimiest of slime balls and everything gets ruined. Flash forward a decade and that’s where we find our lovely FMC being a struggling business owner but mom of the year! I found it a little hard to believe that despite the overabundance of resources the guys had, that they weren’t able to find the FMC sooner. But when they do, everything turns into a whirlwind - the romance was medium-paced, but also realistic for what each of them has gone through to get to this point. The naming of the FMC’s son was so clever! And I love the way it was unveiled! Even his anxiety about a name change had me in stitches! Ultimately, this poor omega has to wait around a decade for any of her love interests to pull their heads out of dark places, but it was a hard fought for and well-earned HEA!
This is definitely a light read, it is not dark. The characters are all really nice and worship the FMC. There is little to no angst. 3 🌶️ there is lots of character development on the FMC and some of the MMC’s. It’s interesting how their working relationships all come together.
Disappointed in the development of her relationship or the history with her hometown beau. Would have loved to get to know him/them more. And not have everyone abandon her and come back at exactly the same time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sweet, emotional, and impossible to put down!
This book is everything I love about sweet-angst small-town romance. The scent-matching and second-chance elements were handled beautifully, blending emotional depth with genuine warmth. I was immediately invested in the heroine’s journey—from her heartbreaking first heat and betrayal to the strong, capable single mom she becomes.
Leo absolutely stole my heart, and the found-family vibes were perfection. I loved how the story balanced longing, forgiveness, and growth without rushing the emotional payoff. The romance was tender, layered, and earned. Every interaction was charged with chemistry and history, and the scent-match bond added such a unique intensity to the love story. Really appreciated the dynamics with Logan and how everyone made adjustments to keep “the pack” a focus.
If you love omega romance with heart, second chances, protective alphas, and a strong heroine who knows her worth, this is a must-read. I finished it with a full heart and a big smile—and immediately wanted to reread my favorite scenes.
This is not like Roxy's other book, this one is sweet like candy.
Im glad Lily had Logan to be with her and the father figure to their son Leo, after she left her scent matched that first time.
I liked lily, but felt she gave in too easily to Ellis and Otley. I like a bit of grovelling from the Alphas.
You could see the immediate pull between Tristan and lily and I was all here for it! Would of loved to see more scenes with all 4 of them together. Maybe thats my inner Omega talking though!
I really enjoyed this one. Lily is a single mom just trying her best. She had a single heat with her scent matches 10 years ago and then came out of it to find them gone. She’s been doing ok on her own, raising her son and running a farm, until one day they reappear in her life with no warming. Otley, Ellis, and Tristan just want to be in Lily’s life. They are determined to make amends and win her heart. The relationships between all of them are great. Even Logan, minus the one brief moment of jealousy, is quick to get on board and do whatever it takes to make Lily happy.
I love Roxy Collins! This was a wonderful second chance romance with sweet characters, an a fairly light plot and an adorable child that is smarter than any one expects. I loved the characters in this book and I hope she continues with this world. I really like these vibes with Roxy!
