I’m a mafia princess without any real freedom, and under constant pressure from my father. I find moments of happiness where I can grab it, and hope I get away with it.

I’m in love with my stepsister, and I’m fairly certain Papa is attempting to look the other way. Until one day, I become an example of what happens when my father is no longer willing to protect me, and throws me to wolves that are his men.

Now, I’m being married off to the Domino family, and Nico thinks I’m nothing but a spoiled princess. Hope doesn’t spring eternal when you have nothing left to live for, despite the promise I gave to Verona.

Sometimes, love doesn’t conquer all, and you’re simply a dead woman walking.

DSM-6 Supplemental Update for 2026 Regarding Jenn Bullard Victim’s Disorder (ICD: F65.2)

Following ongoing longitudinal panic-based research, the DSM-6 committee has issued an urgent supplemental update regarding Jenn Bullard Victim’s Disorder (JBVD), a severe and highly contagious condition observed primarily in readers who believed they were “just going to read one more chapter.”

Current clinical presentations may include, but is not limited to:

1. insomnia caused by saying “just one more page” at 1:30 a.m. and emerging from the experience at sunrise like a rabid raccoon with a messy bun and a suspicious Starbucks basic white girl order.
2. total inability to work due to staring into the nothing and whispering, “this is not what I came here for.”
3. locking yourself in the bathroom during steamy scenes so your rude family stops interrupting with “MOM where’s my…”, only to be found ten minutes later by a confused spouse and a suspiciously warm towel.
4. sudden fits of rage resulting in the throwing of electronics such as Kindles, iPads, remote controls, and, in extreme cases, a decorative throw pillow.
5. the unexplained urge to message the author known as “Tiny Pixie” and accuse her of personally dragging you through an emotional car wash with no drying cycle (i.e. rode hard and put up wet).
6. audible gasping, clutching of the chest, and the involuntary whispering of “absolutely not” followed immediately by “GIVE.ME.MORE.”
7. realizing your own childhood trauma has been tucked into the characters like a grenade in a glitter pouch.
8. a parent who disappears, returns, and somehow has the exact same dessert preference, emotional damage, and suspiciously familiar scent profile (also see: SBMB).
9. daddy issues so precisely rendered that patients report needing to sit down, hydrate, and text a friend, “why is this book judging me.”
10. the sudden conviction that the author has somehow gained access to your private journal, your family history, and the one nightmare you’ve never told anyone about.

Newly added supplemental modifier code:

Z99.99 Extreme fiction-induced emotional collapse, not otherwise specified
This code is to be used in cases where readers present with advanced symptom clusters, including but not limited to dramatic sighing, squirming, disbelieving laughter, and the repeated statement, “I hear screaming” (not to worry: they are the screams of the beta readers every time they see an angel smiley face that accompanies a new document).

The therapeutic response for JBVD now includes:
1. immediate removal from all hard surfaces. Hot pink straight jackets and sparkle helmets are highly recommended.
2. a frosty cold beverage at the mention “migraine” or “migraine haze”.
3. at least one emotionally supportive friend, preferably one that comes with “battery operated friend” privileges.
4. a mandatory 24-hour recovery period before discussing chapter 13 in public.

As always, sufferers are advised to seek support through their nearest JBVA chapter, where they may be greeted by others muttering, “she did it again,” while accepting their life as a dual diagnosis and slowly reaching for the next book.

‼️SPOILERS‼️
🌟 Read Your Triggers 🌟

Any single time Jenn comes out with a book, you know you’re going to be going through all your emotions. I’m completely obsessed with how she brings these characters to life.

I cannot stress this enough but read the triggers in this book before diving in. This is probably one of the hardest books I’ve had to read by Jenn. I thought Knot A Happy Ending was hard. Nope.

Rosalia is definitely one of the strongest omegas I’ve read. She is a bad*** from all the things her father did to her. He pretty much didn’t care about her happened to her as long as it worked in his favor. When he sells her to an alpha to be married, her life completely changes.

Nico and Pablo are stepbrothers and have been together for a while. I really loved Dario and Ciro so much. When Pablo, who was always an Alpha, goes through a designation change to an omega, things get so much more interesting. I’m a sucker for a good book and it’s a male and a female omega.

Things do get interesting throughout this book and I love how Pablo doesn’t hesitate to see Verona and Rosalia.

I think out of all the guys, I truly loved Dario and Pablo the most. My favorite moment had to be Verona and Dario of her giving her virginity to him. That moment was so special.

I had tears in my eyes so much in this book. There is SA on page and so much more happens to Rosa. What I really loved was how Jenn really showed the recovery of Rosa after her being tortured. I loved seeing her and her pack make it. I also was happy that the whole sock got there happily ever after.

I cannot wait to see whose book is next and I need to see how what’s her name gets her karma because c’mon, she’s a little crazy to say the least.

If you’re looking for a book that’s going to break you, put you back together and do it all over again; this book is for you. I definitely went through my bearings so many times but it was so worth it.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Why Choose / Poly Dark!! Omegaverse Romance

“I’ve never liked a woman in a dress before Rosa and Verona. My dick is very confused.”

4.5 ⭐️ Great read! This book will put you through the wringer for sure, I think I felt every emotion possible reading this book. There’s action, sweet moments, lots of funny moments(seriously I laughed a lot), shock collars, spice, grovel, tragedy, recovery, revenge, honesty I could go on.

Check your TWs, there’s a lot of darkness

I really liked the last 15% or so, showing that just because you’re rescued and back with your people, doesn’t mean you’re healed from all the trauma you went through.

“I’m not a hero, husband. I’m just a girl living from moment to moment still,”

No cheating, no OWD, no third act breakup with a HEA

* MMMFFM / AAOOAA
* MM & FF (no incest)
* Brothers / Stepbrother / Stepsister
* Scent Matches
* Bi Awakenings
* Gay but Straight for You
* Age Gap
* Late Designation
* Virgin FMCs
* Morally Grey
* Revenge
* Shock Collars & Cock Cages

“The group stalking? It looks like they want the three of us. Buckle up, as I have no idea how that’ll look. They’ve gone off script. The little I’ve experienced of their obsession is intense.”

‘Pack Domino is playing for keeps, and they just might be able to make me fall in love with them all simply by doing the best thing you could ever do for them: accepting someone for who they are.’

“You Domino brothers are like a fungus, though you’re prettier to look at.” “Aw, you like us,” Ciro crows. “Don’t tell anyone,” I laugh, pushing open the gate. “How much I like you changes from hour to hour.”

I received an eARC of Knot to Be, and I had expected to take a few days reading it over — I *devoured* it in the span of 8 hours, could not put it down!!

Knot to Be is a dark (seriously, heed your trigger warnings!!), emotional story following a mafia princess, her secret girlfriend, and her arranged husband as they suffer through abuse, uncertainty amid tense pack dynamics, controversial pack/partner relationships, and a looming threat of mafia wars and human trafficking rings. It’s brutal, heart-wrenching, and focuses on the sheer resilience survivors can have.

I genuinely wanted to scream, cry, and through my kindle across the room as I read this. My heart broke for Rosalia, and for her whole pack as they each respond to her pain and trauma. Jenn does a fantastic job of showing how even witnessing a traumatic event, even if the person isn’t involved, can cause trauma responses. It’s gritty, heartbreaking, and makes you want to throw things, but it’s also a story of resilience and finding strength in adversity.

If you can handle the darkness, then I bet Knot to Be will have the same impact on you as it did on me. Highly recommend, even if I wanted to scream at Jenn for the emotional turmoil.

Oh, and by the way… everyone is with everyone, and there’s no possessive jealousy or cheating subplots. AND has a HEA. What more could you possibly want in your omegaverse??

Heyya, woowza, this was a book and a half! The rollercoaster of emotions here.. I wanna go again! This one is dark ya’ll, check your triggers, PLEASE, and take care of yourself—you matter!

This book had me messed up, it had me nauseous, bawling, cackling like an evil witch, and raging, at times, all at once. Hats off Jenn, hats off!

This is a beautiful and heart shattering story and is one of those books where I would give anything to read it again for the first time. I am truly so incredibly jealous of all of you sitting down to read this for the first time. So I’m not gonna tell you any more about the plot or the characters we meet, though the one thing I will say, is that we’ve met, seen, or heard of every single main character in this book before. BUT, it is still a standalone so you can still easily read and enjoy this book even without reading the rest in the Jenn verse—though it is always recommended, those easter eggs are way too good!

Need a dark read? Look no further. I’d recommend this book to all dark romance readers, to anyone who enjoys omegaverse with a twisting dark storyline where you never know what comes next. Again, read the triggers and enjoy!

Oh what to say about this book this author is absolutely my favorite I literally will just do a little happy dance every time I see that there is a book coming out I love the whole series and I like that as you read along you find old favorites coming back

This is the tale of Verona and Rosalia they were introduced to each other as stepsisters but turns out that they ended up falling in love and unfortunately the rest of her family and those around just didn't agree with that relationship her dad not a good guy does a whole lot of shady stuff.
( read the trigger warnings oh gosh please read them there's a lot in here and if you're not mentally ready for it I don't think you'll enjoy it half)
The men that she ends up meeting because of her dad are three half brothers and their step brother who they actually have the same thing that happened with Rosa and Verona but when they all come together..... this story is definitely one of the top 10 for sure Anna I loved everything about it the spice the journey that each of the characters did and what they became and how one little event which was them all meeting each other changed every one of them for so much better

I am officially wrecked.

Once again Ms Jenn manages to wreck me and also give me the need for tissues, therapy and tiramisu. And not necessarily in that order.

In this book we get Nico’s story. You may remember him from Retribution. Here we have a mafia Princess omega Rosalia and her female Alpha stepsister Verona. Unfortunately Rosa’s dear ole dad doesn’t like them together so he forces her hand in marriage to Nico. Nothing like a forced marriage to really brighten up the day, huh? Nico isn’t alone though. Nico has his fellow stepbrother Pablo and Nico also has brothers Ciro and Dario in tow. I absolutely loved every character and really wanted more of Ciro and Dario. But I will never complain about the story itself but rather petitioning to see all characters/harem members get equal credit.

Absolutely loved this story and I love reuniting with all the previous characters and getting to meet Pack Mayor. Rosa, Verona’s story with Nico, Ciro and Dario is one about strength, resilience, fortitude, forgiveness and the power of love. Check triggers because this is a dark and dangerous story that lulls you into a false sense of security.

I always expect to be emotionally eviserated when diving into dark and volatile musings of Jen’s imagination. But Rosa’s is one to painfully rip out your heart. Her life has been one of survival under the most inhumane and twisted of circumstances. Her father is a deranged, bigoted, psychopath and the scope of his abuse has forged unmitigated strength while equally destroying her.

Pack Domino is not all they have appeared in previous installments of the Forbiddenverse; but they must move mountains to build Rosa and Vero’s trust. It is a story of redemption, fate, and how powerfully your jagged pieces can build a better tomorrow for those are surviving their own suffering. This is an interconnected standalone within this world but I do think you do yourself an injustice if you don’t read Dubious Match, Lost, and Retribution first.

If you love a story that is unapologetically sensual, tender, and stabby, I cannot recommend you dive not only into this new release (July 17th) but to Jenn’s backlog. As always, please check content warnings as this is not for the faint of heart.

Forbiddenverse Book 3.
Check triggers before reading.

Arranged marriage
Age gap
Step-Siblings
MFFMMM
FF & MM included
HEA

Rosalia (Rosa) Accetta is a mafia Princess and an omega. Her father (Renzo) is mafia and a controlling man. She has a step-sister called Vero (Verona), who presented as an alpha. She protects Rosa as much as she can from Renzo. Rosa gets beaten and sexually abused by her father’s men & uncles. Wanting more power, Renzo sets her up to marry Nicolai (Nico). He is an alpha but he is into men. Rosa is into woman and has a relationship with Vero and they are scent matches.
She marries into the Domino pack (Nico & Ciro (alphas) Pablo (omega) & Dario who is a beta).
Nico & Pablo are step-siblings.
It’s a fake, arranged marriage to protect Rosa from her family.
Rosa goes through so much and shows that she’s hardcore and a badass.
I’m looking forward to the next book and what Jenn conjures up next.

“Prepare to crawl through nails and fire, husband. Prove you deserve me.”

As per usual for a Jennverse book, check your triggers...but it is SO worth heartache/trauma/therapy, whatever you must deal with upon completing this story. Rosalia's life is no fairy tale, and she goes through so much for so long, before she finds herself engaged to Nico. Nicole, Dario and Ciro go through so much growth, and I loved seeing it! Pablo and Verona were amazing almost from the getgo. I don't want to give much away because everyone deserves to experience this book with a clear lens. I have SO much trouble choosing a favorite FMC, MMC, or even book when it comes to Jenn's work, but this is definitely up there!

Even when you’re unsure of what your place in life is, how you show up in the world matters.

Another great addition to the forbiddenverse.

This time we meet Rosa. Rosa’s journey is hard and her hea is hard fought. I have never needed to read the end of a book as much as this one. I needed that hea!

Verona a female alpha scent matched to Rosa from her first minutes as an omega is a great addition to the pack. Her finding herself and growing to love the domino boys is lovely to read.

The dominos 🥵 perfectly written and bring all the spice.

Watch the triggers on this one. Jenn is not exaggerating there is some dark in the book you have been warned.

Looking forward to more in this world and seeing the rest of the packs come together.

Wow - this was great and loved how it ties previous 'verses' into it. The main Omega was raised as a Mafia Princess & to the outside world she was just a spoiled one doing some of Dad's dirty work - little did they know! A forced marriage ends up with 2 omegas (both sexes) and 2 females (1 an alpha) making the perfect pack, even though they start rough. As usual for Jenns stories, there is sex, murder and mystery! Great read!

** Make sure to read trigger warnings if you have any **

I love The Forbiddenverse. They may be standalone but their all interconnected in some way. I was not disappointed with Knot to Be. I love Rosa and Vero. Their stubborn but so madly in love with each other that you can just feel it. What they go through is sad but revenge is sweeter. The friends they make is epic. And their men definitely have some groveling and butt kissing.
This book ends in HEA but not without going through some stuff first.
I can't wait to read what's next

Read the trigger warnings! She always warns to do this, and as this is the darkest yet, it is worth knowing what you are in for. The tiny pixie author never steers us wrong with her stories - this one was a really dark read but the story and characters pull you in and the FMC is a bada** even through all she experiences. There is an HEA! Fave quote: “this kill bag has major Mary Poppins vibes.”
