A quick winter survival tale about a group of campers that decide to hike the Sierra Mountains during a ferocious snowstorm. The very same mountains the Donner Party got stuck on back in the late 1840s.
This was really fun! It felt a lot like William Golding's classic tale, "Lord of the Flies", but with a bit more horror added in. I really enjoyed seeing how these characters handled this situation and it left me wanting to seek out more of this author's work!
Highly recommended.

Solid, entertaining survival horror. Teenage campers get lost on a mountain range and fight the elements and each other. Fast paced and fun.
