Such a beautiful short Christmas story. Two childhood friends from school meet up again in a small town. Nadia is the Christmas decorator for the town she once ran away from after her dad's business closed down. She learns how close a small town is when things go sour. She realises that the town is not just about being nosey and having the need to know everyones business it's about having a small town that's like family. Clayton then realise how much her work ethics sparks him to fall in love with her again even more when they work together. They both fall in love with each other and Nadia decides to stay in the small town.
This book is part of the Heartstring Hill series. It does appear that these books are stand-alone books.
I love that this book was about finding yourself. And that finding yourself doesn’t always mean that your current life plan is the right plan. There are so many things in life that can change a persons trajectory and one has to be ready to not only acknowledge it, but be open to a change. That’s exactly what this book gives the reader.
Super cute! Super quick read! It was full of all that small-town Christmas charm and chaos. It kept me wondering what was going to happen next! Predictable in a sense that every action pushes Clayton and Nadia together, but still never knew what chaotic event or community members would get involved next! Definitely recommend this sweet, short read!
I absolutely loved this charming Christmas novella! The sweet romance warmed my heart, and I couldn't get enough of the witty banter and the delightful small-town atmosphere.
