This book is so damn hot! I absolutely loved the slow burn and what a green flag Mr. Rishabh Raichand is! He’s so protective, caring, and mature; the age gap really adds depth to his character. The way he handles everything with calm confidence makes him even more irresistible. Why are fictional men always this good? 😩

On the other hand, our cute little bubble, Tanya (Tasha), is written so beautifully. The way she chases her dreams, her courage at the end, and how she doesn’t let her personal struggles affect her writing it’s truly inspiring. I also loved how the author portrayed the life of a writer in the novel, how they balance time between work and passion. Reading a romance about an author who writes romance? Too good! 💌

This year, the only other romance I read was Better Than the Movies, and as much as I loved that one, this comes really close just half a point behind for me! I only wish the slow burn had lasted a little longer because I was really enjoying the tension. The references to old songs were adorable, and the chemistry between the leads felt natural and engaging.

It’s my first novel by this author, and I have to say I’m officially a fan! The writing style is smooth, emotional, and perfectly captures the world of a writer.

For the story, we have Mr. Rishabh Raichand — the mature, confident, and seemingly arrogant owner of Raichand Publications. But as the story unfolds, you realize he’s actually warm-hearted, deeply loyal to his loved ones, and quietly longing for the love of his life. Beneath his composed exterior, there’s a man who quietly yearns for a love that’s real, lasting, and his own.

Our female lead, Tanya (Tasha), works as a designer at the same publication but secretly writes romance novels under a pen name. She hides her identity as an author because she doesn’t like being in the spotlight. When Rishabh notices her potential and offers her the role of his personal assistant, things start to get very interesting. She writes so beautifully about love and emotions, yet deep down, she isn’t sure if she’ll ever get to experience that kind of love in her own life.

It’s a fun, passionate, and emotionally charged romance that keeps you hooked till the end. And yes — do take the content warning at the start seriously.

Overall, a beautiful slow-burn romance that will make your heart flutter and your cheeks warm. ❤️

Chasing Tasha is the story of Tanya and Rishabh, set in a workplace romance that quietly turns into something deeply comforting and unexpectedly powerful.

Tanya works in Rishabh’s publishing house, but what no one knows is that she’s secretly Tasha, a bestselling romance author whose books are loved by readers everywhere. Watching a writer hide behind anonymity while working inside the very world that publishes stories felt both exciting and emotional.

Rishabh, on the other hand, is a publisher and a reader, yes, a man who genuinely loves reading romance. That alone felt like a win. This book truly celebrates books: how they comfort us, calm us, heal us, and make life feel a little less heavy. As a reader, that part felt incredibly personal.

I’ll be honest, at first, I wanted to slap Rishabh. The playboy vibes were strong, and I wasn’t impressed. But once he makes Tanya his personal assistant (much to her annoyance), things slowly begin to shift. They start seeing each other beyond titles, pasts unfold, walls come down, and attraction grows naturally.

Tanya carries a painful past, and I loved how Rishabh didn’t just fall for her but stood by her, faced her trauma, and even handled her father with maturity and care.

The moment Rishabh discovers that Tanya is Tasha? Perfection. No anger. No ego. Just pride. That scene alone made my heart so full.

By the end, Rishabh’s character growth is beautifully written. He redeems himself completely, choosing love over power, walking away from his father and even his company just to be with Tanya. That choice made everything worth it.

This isn’t your typical bichari girl–broody billionaire romance. Yes, Rishabh is rich, but he’s also insecure, struggling, and desperate for validation from a father who never believes in him. That emotional layer makes the story feel real.

The plot stays engaging throughout, never predictable, never flat and keeps you invested till the very end.

✨ Final Thoughts:
Chasing Tasha is a heartfelt, engaging romance that celebrates books, writers, readers, and love that grows through understanding. Warm, emotional, and comforting, this one truly stayed with me.

Chasing Tasha felt like one of those books I pick up thinking it’ll be a simple office romance and suddenly i found myself 10 chapters deep. Completely attached to two fictional people who felt so real.

What stood out to me first was how relatable Tanya (Tasha) is. She’s not written like a perfect romance heroine she’s messy, confused, scared, passionate and constantly battling her strange mix of ambition and self doubt. That whole dual life of being a quiet employee while secretly writing? It actually felt like reading the thoughts of someone who’s hiding herself but still not brave enough to step up.

And then… Rishabh Raichand.
Listen, I knew I was in trouble the moment his character entered with that calm collected energy. He is not the loud, dramatic type. I found him to be that dangerous but quiet man who observes more than speaking. OMG! The more the story progresses the more layers he reveals and suddenly i say suddenly I realise that he isn't intimidating he’s just lonely. Loyal, softhearted and absolutely gone for this one girl who doesn’t even realise her own worth.

Their chemistry is what sold the book for me. It’s wasn't forced nor rushed. It builds slowly in tiny moments like the glances, unspoken comfort, the way Rishabh quietly notices things about her that she herself ignores.

What I loved most is how Mansi Mehra writes emotions.
Her writing has this smooth, effortless flow that made me forget that I was reading. The silence between the characters has weight.

It is not just romance. It’s soft, emotional, slow blooming journey of two people who don’t rush love but grow into it.

If you love:
* warm, mature men with green flag energy
* hidden identities
* slow burn + tension
* soft but intense chemistry
* and relatable female leads

Rishabh and Tanya’s story grows through the simplest but most meaningful moments the way he quietly supports her, notices her talent and becomes her calm in every chaotic day and the way she softens his rigid world with her warmth, honesty.

Review of "Chasing Tasha" by Mansi Mehra
Ratings ~ 4/5

Chasing Tasha by Mansi Mehra is a delightfully addictive ride through the tangled webs of office romance and self-discovery. From the first page, it hits you with a mix of witty banter and slow-burning tension that keeps you hooked and rooting for Tanya and Rishab despite their stubborn pride and secrets. It’s like the perfect cup of chai — comforting, a little spicy, and impossible to put down. The characters feel real, their flaws and insecurities laid bare in a way that makes you want to hug them (or shake some sense into them).

The story has the classic enemies-to-lovers vibe with a delicious age gap twist that adds layers to their chemistry. It’s not just about romance; it’s about finding your path when it feels like everything’s uncertain, which makes Tanya’s journey incredibly relatable and inspiring. The way Mehra writes the office politics and power plays cleverly mirrors real-life struggles, making the story immersive without being heavy. The writing is sharp, sometimes funny with a perfect touch of sarcasm that made me chuckle out loud more than once.

If you’re a fan of slow burns where every glance and word matters, layered characters, plus a sizzling workplace romance, this book will make your heart race and your mind wander long after the last page. The tropes? Enemies to lovers, slow burn, office romance, age gap, friends to lovers, and second chances—each playing out with fresh energy and emotional depth. Mansi Mehra has done a beautiful job weaving realism with romance, creating characters who stay with you. I loved the humour, the emotional depth, and the relentless hope that underpins the story. This isn’t just a romance; it’s a heartfelt exploration of love in its messiest, most glorious form.

Oh, how I love Retro Songs and their vibes 🤌🤍

Rain outside, a cup of masaledar adrak wali chaii and a cosy book to read. This book has absolutely nailed this vibe and I so loved it. Coincidentally when I started reading this book it was raining which makes the reading experience even more dreamy 🥹✨️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chasing Kasha by Mansi Mehra has a unique concept. The plot and the storyline were absolutely unique. It was something that I have never read before.

She was an author under a pen name, and the whole publishing world, the whole readers’ world, everyone was curious about who Tasha was. But Tasha was unfoundable. No one knew who she was. Everyone was in love with her writing, her words, her novels. The publishing companies were chasing her, finding her. They wanted to know who Tasha was, but it was like Tasha was a mysterious woman, a mysterious author, and no one knew who she was.

Rishabh, the CEO of a publication company, also wanted to find Tasha, but little did he know that his secretary was Tasha, the girl he had been crushing on, the girl he had set his eyes on, the girl he was falling for was none other than Tasha. He was searching for her outside, and little did he know that she was beside him all the time.

Tanya, also known as Tasha, is a sweet, bubbly character, and with a lot of depth inside her. We get to know that she did not have an easy life, the struggles she faced, and the way she maintained a balance between her author life and her real life was so relatable. Like how you find time to fulfil your aspirations, it was so good.

The friendships, the found family, everything was so good. The age gap was done really well. It showed that they both belonged to different generations and there was an age gap between them, but the way the author has written it is so beautiful, with so much depth.

I loved the storyline. I loved how retro music was used, because as a retro music listener myself, I love all the old Hindi songs, especially during rain, and there was a rain scene. The slowburn and the writing were good, and the storyline was absolutely amazing 🤍

"This book is a love letter to everyone who’s ever had to balance who they are with what the world expects them to be."

The story belongs to every reader, especially those who love fictional characters immensely. This book felt real and lively to me as it revolved around real situations and settings. We have read many stories and then fall for their leads, haven't we? Well, this one will make you fall hard for the male lead for sure.

Rishab owns a publishing house that he has built from scratch. Being a Raichand, he never flexes his inheritance; rather, he achieves everything on his own.

Tanya has lost so much at a tender age, but today she is making her own life with flying colors. She is a designer at Rishab's firm and there is an undeniable attraction between them.

Then there is Tasha, a famous writer, hidden, secret, and far from people's reach. Her books are cherished by everyone including Rishab. He is adamant to meet her but nobody knows the real Tasha.

Their story began with a not very friendly introduction, but the chemistry they share has a humongous spark. But are they meant to be together?? Is there any hope for this attraction?? What about Tasha?? Will she have something to do with these two?? What future holds for this not-so-compatible couple?

I loved the plot, especially the part where we live authors' lives, the way the inspiration for writing comes, the fan base, the drama, the hidden identities, everything was so relatable. I loved the character of Rishab, the way he made his own identity, and his dedication. Tanya, with her wit and charm, will capture many people's hearts. Abhinav came out as the best supporting character.
Would love to read his story soon.

Uff! this book, honestly I don't even know how to explain what this book made me feel.
Words have escaped me, literally.
This one didn't hit me in a dramatic way, it hit me in a quiet way, a soft way.
It's like this book reached deep into my soul, made a safe place for itself, and started pouring love everywhere.
It's that kind of story where the characters slowly build their space in your head, without you even noticing.
To long for a love we only get to read about in books....to actually finding it like a real life fairytale, I loved Tanya's journey.
Being a bestselling author but still choosing to stay away from the spotlight, I respected her choices. I loved her character, introverted, soft but not at all weak, she was full of stories, full of emotions which she expressed through her books.
And oh our very own Mr. Raichand, the man that he is, just perfect🤌.
The way he understands Tanya, the way he respects her choices, actually sees her for who she is and oh the way he falls for her, I was swooning the WHOLE FUCKIN TIME!

I loved the storyline, main characters as well as the side ones, the character development, the slow burn, soft, making us giggle all the time type of romance and the ending definitely made everything better💗.

So if you like.....
No, trust me and just go jump onto this book, take a deep dive in Tanya & Rishab's world, because you might find yourself a little in Tanya and you'll be thanking me loads after🤭.

Chasing tasha by @author_mansimehra

Overview-
A shy book designer living a double life as a bestselling author? A powerful publisher obsessed with finding her? Hidden identity + workplace tension + slow-burn chaos? Chasing Tasha serves it all. Tanya Desai is secretly “Tasha,” and Rishab Raichand is unknowingly falling for the woman he’s been hunting. Drama, ambition, and chemistry everywhere.

✨ Review
This book legit felt like stress + butterflies + serotonin blended into one chaotic slow-burn smoothie. Tanya Desai is such a relatable heroine — quiet, introverted, ambitious, but constantly doubting whether she deserves the success she’s already earned. And then there’s Rishab Raichand, the man who walks around like he owns the world (because he kinda does), and the way he clashes with Tanya is pure entertainment.

Their banter? Sharp.
Their chemistry? Painfully obvious.
Their tension? You can cut it with a bookmark.

The best part is how the hidden-identity trope is handled. It doesn’t feel forced — it’s layered, emotional, and honestly kinda heartbreaking because you know it’s all going to blow up eventually. The office politics, the power play, the accidental softness from Rishab… it all builds into this addictive slow-burn where you’re begging them to just confess already.

It’s romantic, messy, and very bingeable — the kind of book you pick up “for a few pages” and suddenly it’s 3 a.m.

Review 💕

The story is about Tasha (Tanya 😉) a girl who is easy to relate to because she feels lost, just like many people do in their twenties. She is trying to figure out what she wants for her career (to reveal her identity) And her feelings and attraction towards her boss

And here comes the man RISHAB he is literally a green forest (I'm in love with him already 🤧) the way he craves for Tanya is so freaking cutely hot and the way he supports her (I'm on my knees)

writing style is simple and direct, which makes the book very easy to read. It feels like Tasha is talking to you directly, sharing her secrets and her hopes. The book is not filled with complicated words or confusing plot twists, making it a smooth read for anyone who wants a story that focuses purely on emotion and character development.

One of the best parts of this novel is how it handles the relationships Tanya(Tasha) has with her brother and Her Boss. These connections feel real, showing both the comfort and the conflicts that come with close relationships.

It is a beautiful and simple story that takes you right into the heart of a young woman's journey to find herself.

If you are looking for a quick, emotional read about life, friendship, and the complexities of growing up, this book is a great choice.

I finished reading this book just a few days back & I'm delighted to share that this book is different from the other books in this genre.

I must say Author Mansi Mehra delivers a story that feels both cinematic and intimate, pulling readers into the hustle of the Indian publishing world while giving them a romance that simmers beautifully from the very first page.

At the heart of the novel is Tanya Desai, a quiet, hardworking book designer by day and the mysterious bestselling author “Tasha” by night. Her dual identity is not just a plot device but a powerful exploration of self-worth, fear, and the desire to be seen beyond one’s achievements. Tanya is a heroine you root for, admire, and deeply connect with.

Opposite her stands Rishab Raichand, the ambitious, sharp, and magnetic heir to the Raichand empire. His relentless search for Tasha, combined with his growing affection for Tanya, creates an irresistible tension that fuels the entire story.

What truly elevates Chasing Tasha is its balance: romance, drama, ambition, cultural authenticity, and character growth all find their place. The age-gap dynamic, workplace setting, and enemies-to-lovers energy come together with seamless chemistry

A compelling read that proves secrets can complicate love but they can also lead you right where you belong.

I just finished Chasing Tasha by Mansi Mehra… and my heart is so full💌.This book felt like a warm hug soft, slow and beautifully written. I spent the entire read giggling, smiling and blushing like an idiot🤭 because Rishabh and Tanya’s journey was just that precious🌍.
💌
Rishabh Raichand has officially joined my list of green flag men. The way he cares, protects, supports and love’s so quietly yet so deeply… wow. And the fact that he secretly fell in love with Tanya through her novels before he even realised it? I melted there…!!!His bond with his mother, his strained relationship with his father and that heartbreaking moment when he had to choose between family legacy and the girl he loves …every part of his story made me love him more.
💌
And Tanya/Tasha? Pure sunshine. Charming, smart, bubbly and so beautifully driven. I adored how she chased her dreams, how she never let work pressure affect her writing’s and how she always stood strong. Their banter, their unspoken feelings & their confessions… everything felt so soft and real.
The ending wrapped their love perfectly.
💌
Tanya making things right, Rishabh choosing her without hesitation and the two of them finding a world where love and dreams could exist together.
💌
This book wasn’t just a romance. It was comfort. It was healing. It was two souls choosing each other again and again.
I absolutely adored it. 💗✨

"Chasing Tasha" by Mansi Mehra is a charming and engaging story that beautifully captures the chemistry between its lead characters, Rishab and Tanya🫠❤️

Chasing Tasha is beautifully and well written story❤️🥰

Rishabh Raichand may look cold and strict at first the powerful head of Raichand Publications who keeps a straight face almost all the time. But the more you read, the more you realise he's actually soft-hearted, loyal, and quietly longing for love.

Tanya, on the other hand, is a sweet, loving, and independent young woman with a quiet strength that shines through the pages. Her passion for writing and her hidden identity as the successful author "Tasha" create an intriguing twist in the storyline. The contrast between her humble presence within the publishing company and her secret life as a well-known writer adds excitement and suspense to the narrative. Watching how her personal and professional worlds collide makes the story even more gripping.

Chasing Tasha by Mansi Mehra stole my heart! Rishab & Tanya's chemistry is everything. Beautiful writing, amazing characters, and the perfect blend of emotion & romance.

A must-read for romance lovers❤️

Okay listen… Chasing Tasha is NOT just a book… it’s the book you’ll want to dive into and never come out of 😭🔥.

Rishabh Raichand — that akdu, sadu, control-freak boss 😤💼 — literally ruling the whole world like it’s his company. And then there’s Tanya… the girl he forced to be his assistant. Like sir… calm down 💁‍♀️😂

But Tanya isn’t your “simple girl next door” 😌✨
She’s this free-spirited, live-on-her-own-terms type of girl… and by night she’s chasing her DREAMS ✍️🌙 A romance writer… who also has the cutest crush on her grumpy boss 😩❤️

And the story?? OMG. I LOVED it.
The way love slowly builds between Rishabh and Tanya… the sacrifice… the moments… the longing… and then that forever-kind-of happy ending 😭❤️🔥 Ufff my heart.

AND THE KITTEN 😭🐱
I swear I wanted more scenes with their little fur baby but it’s okay, my heart survived.
Also… “Bunny” 😭💗 my favourite nickname EVER.
That proposal scene??? I literally melted into a puddle 😭💍

If you love stories where the heroine is writing her OWN story… AND if you love books that celebrate AUTHORS… this one is going to hit your soul 🥺✨

Chasing Tasha felt like walking through two parallel lives—one shining in silence, the other burning with ambition. Tanya truly stayed with me. She’s soft, talented, and resilient, balancing design by day and authorship by night, all while carrying the weight of her past. I loved how real she felt—flawed, hurting, but still gentle enough to dream.

And Rishab? He’s intense in the best way—driven, a little infuriating, but with a heart that feels deeper than he lets on. The chemistry between them isn’t loud; it glows quietly and then catches fire. Watching him fall for Tanya, unaware she’s the very author he’s obsessed with, made every interaction charged with tension and thrill.

The hidden identity aspect was my favourite part—it made the story addictive. The slow burn, the push and pull, the longing beneath every word—it all left me feeling warm, full, and smiling to myself when I finished

Chasing Tasha is a wonderfully crafted creative masterpiece where the happiness of an author when she pens stories and the way it opens up a connection with the rest of the world has been captured brilliantly.

The sweet and spicy love story of Risabh and Tanya and the power of their true love is heart touching.

The sizzling chemistry of the duo and their dramatic interactions with each other are very entertaining.

Tanya's fiercely independent nature who does her best at work and her compassionate side of going all out to help Risabh is truly admirable.

Risabh makes you swoon over him with his strict bossy attitude and later as a deeply caring and supportive life partner for Tanya.

Tanya's relationship with her colleagues and with her brother Vikas is admirable.

✨ BOOK REVIEW ✨

Rishabh Raichand may look cold and strict at first the powerful head of Raichand Publications who keeps a straight face almost all the time. But the more you read, the more you realise he’s actually soft-hearted, loyal, and quietly longing for love. The age gap only makes his character deeper, and his calm, confident nature is honestly… too attractive. Why are fictional men made this perfect? 😫

Tanya or Tasha adds all the warmth to the story. She works as a designer in the company but secretly writes romance books. Her creative struggles, her dreams, and her doubts feel so real. When Rishabh notices her talent and asks her to be his personal assistant, their whole dynamic shifts in such a beautiful way. She writes the best love stories yet still wonders if she’ll ever get one for herself.

The slow burn between them was delicious. Their chemistry didn’t feel forced, their connection grew naturally, and the references to old songs were straight-up heart-melting. If the slow burn was stretched just a little more, this book would’ve easily tied with Better Than the Movies for my favourite romance of the year.

What I loved most is how the book shows Tanya’s secret life as a romance writer the pressure, the passion, the inspiration. A romance about someone who writes romance will always be a soft spot for me. And Rishabh being the steady, green-flag hero beside her? Chef’s kiss.

This book is emotional, fun, a little intense, and more sensual than you expect. The content warning at the start is definitely there for a reason, so keep it in mind.

Overall, it’s a tender, addictive story that pulls at your heart, makes you blush, and stays with you long after the last page. ❤️

“Chasing Tasha” has been a pleasurable experience in reading for me! The initial loggerheads between Rishabh and Tanya made me grove for them more and more... The workplace romance, the sneaky romance just made it impossible for me to read with a straight face while travelling!!!

Rishabh isn't your typical CEO! And I liked it so much!!! In the world of CEOs, Rishabh is a fresh rose in the miracle garden 🌴 , and the way author potrayed him, the legit green flag except a few like Sonya! He's commendable and unforgettable in his way and personality.

Tanya, on the other hand, is a simple girl with a hidden identity that's loved by billions including our male lead himself. And, the way she carried herself was phenomenal, being independent to taking a stand for her love, her husband was an extraordinary deed.

I just enjoyed reading this novel, the initial set up, the pace, the was the plot unfolded with the revelation of twists and of course, the chemistry and those steamy moments! Everything about this novel is intriguing and worth reading by everyone.

Author Mansi Mehra has woven her words in this novel with the same care as Tasha did! And the appreciation is much deserving! It's inked in my heart in bold! From the main characters, to the supporting and side characters, everyone has their own priority and arc, and I just loved it!

Want a sneak peek?? Hmmm, maybe, she fell first!!! And, is it only me who shipped Vikas with Simran!? Tell me I'm not the only one :)

Chasing Tasha is a super engaging desi romance that hooks you right from the start. Tanya’s double life — shy book designer by day, bestselling author by night — immediately adds a fun twist, and it makes you root for her as she tiptoes around her own secret. She’s relatable, smart, and easy to like.

Rishab, on the other hand, is the charming-but-annoying billionaire heir who has no idea the author he’s desperately searching for is literally working for him. Their dynamic is classic enemies-to-lovers: full of banter, tension, and those small moments that make you grin because you know something big is coming.

The story moves smoothly, the chemistry feels natural, and the whole publishing-world backdrop keeps things refreshing. It’s a quick, entertaining read that blends romance, drama, and a little chaos in all the right ways. Perfect for when you want something fun, emotional, and impossible to put down.
