Finding their missing men nearly killed them. What comes next will finish the job.
The island appeared out of nowhere—an unthought-of refuge in a world gone to hell. When Chinooks pull Mark Moon and his missing team from the brink, there’s a Moon’s been bitten. But thanks to Dr. Carter’s experimental vaccine, he lives.
Proof that the cure works changes everything.
Now, with humanity’s last hope within reach, Dr. Carter makes an impossible choice. She needs Mark Moon, Director Yorgey, and Ryan Mahon to escort her deep into the ruins of Atlanta, to the CDC—back to the underground lab where the final piece of the cure is locked away.
But between them and the city lies a continent crawling with the dead—and the living who’ve become something worse.
The cure is real—but surviving long enough to reach it might be impossible.
Just when I thought it was the end, it wasnt. The Team was still in the battle. I'm sad how it ended but glad the story is still going strong. I'm left wandering what's next? Would things have turned out differently had they known everything the Dr. didn't tell them? Will they get to complete they're new mission? This is a really good story\series. I'm enjoying it so I'm glad there's still more to come.
Looks like things are coming down to the wire here. Can’t wait to read the next book and see how Mark and the rest of his team get through their upcoming adventures.
