Treat me for Big Tricks
Spirit was a high end escort and was always waiting to be tricked on for minimal effort. Hallow was ready to be the biggest trick of all for Halloween as long as she agreed to give him the treats he needed. I liked the storyline, it wasn't too spooky and gave us just enough spice. It was on brand for the season.
Don't over think it....this is a novella, meant to be short and sexy.

3.5 - And Spirit was definitely that. Baby girl was getting that money. Hallow was for sure spending it. I love the bdsm/shape shifter of it all. I loved all the spice and freaky things but just wish it was moved up more in the story. A good foreplay situation kind of read if you need to cleanse your pallet in between reads.

This book didn’t fully work for me. The concept—a werewolf who needs sex to survive—felt thin without any curse or mythos to ground it. I was also unclear on what kind of monster he was meant to be. It seemed implied that he knew the heroine beforehand, but that was never fleshed out, which left their connection feeling rushed. On top of that, details like her booking agent suddenly disappearing (why wasn’t she answering the phone anymore?) made the story feel uneven. With a little more worldbuilding and consistency, I think I could’ve been more invested.

Trick Me, Treat Me by Thee Tasha Marie is what you hope to get when you're reading a short. It's exactly what you need when you're looking for an erotic short. Decent character development and an interesting story with a good pace that keeps you hooked and wanting to read more about the characters. I highly recommend Trick Me, Treat Me.

The author does a good job at giving you a captivating novelette. They’re short, steadily paced & entertaining.
This was one of those stories where I was like “this couldn’t be me”. There was too much intuition trying to kick in for the FMC that she was blatantly ignoring… MCs who decide against their discernment stress me out.

Spirit walks in like she owns every room...soft, expensive, and untouched by doubt- until she crosses paths with a man who moves like temptation in human form. Hallow isn’t loud about his power; he’s the kind of danger that speaks with his hands, not his voice. One night with him shifted her balance, her ego, and her body count of clarity.
I enjoyed how the story wastes zero time proving its point: pleasure can be a mirror, and sometimes the person “in charge” has no idea what surrender really feels like until someone shows them. Their chemistry was a collision- not cute, not gentle...consuming in a way that lingers after the last line.
It’s definitely a quick hit, so you won’t get deep world-building or long emotional unraveling, but it still manages to carry that rich, intoxicating pull of something darker and bigger than a hookup. The pacing snaps, the tension builds fast, and the payoff is wicked enough to leave your brain replaying scenes long after closing the book.
I’m giving it four stars because I wanted more story to go with all that heat...more fallout, more secrets, more aftermath- but for what it is, it delivers the perfect late-night Halloween fix.

10’s across the board!!! This was such a fun and sexy Halloween read!!! I had a blast and it was a wild ride with Hallow and Spirit. I have no complaints. I love how TheeTashaMarie is able to give smut but also some backstory and plot with her short novellas. She is really becoming one of my favorite authors. I fell in love with one of her longer books she wrote so I love how she is able to thoroughly write both long and short novels. I am looking forward to Hallow and Spirit next Halloween for part 2. You will not be disappointed, read this before Halloween is over!
