When obedience costs everything, will faith still be enough?
Lailah Moore thought the hardest part was over. The divorce filed, the café thriving, the second chance finally within reach. But when her ex-husband contests the settlement and his pregnant fiancée sets her sights on the café, everything she’s built teeters on the edge of collapse.
While rumors swirl and one-star reviews flood in, Lailah refuses to close her doors. The Sunset Café has become holy ground, a refuge for women like Alyssa, a young wife running from control and fear; Chanel, the fierce friend who keeps laughter alive; and Naomi and Trish, whose prayers turn pain into power. Together they fight back with truth, sisterhood, and faith that refuses to fold.
But as legal battles rise and hearts are tested, one question burns through the Can Lailah keep pouring when the oil runs low?
From Sherylynne L. Rochester-Dix, the bestselling author of God Send Me My Husband, comes a story of faith, freedom, and feminine fire for every woman who’s ever prayed for love and found purpose instead.
Because sometimes, the real miracle isn’t the husband you’re waiting for. It’s the woman you become while you wait.
I have been waiting for Lailah's story to unfold this woman has been through so much. This story is not just a book it's life because many who are Christian are going through these same hurdles but for some reason, I find myself understanding we must heal first before we get involved in a relationship with others what we carry is valuable. I learned a lot by Lailah's story. I am excited about reading book 4 because this book is truly inspirational.
