A much older Bratva King hunts me down and forces me into marriage. I just graduated med school when he walks into the hospital where I work. When the bullets start flying, he kidnaps me to "protect" me. And when I run, he makes me his forced Bratva bride and knocks me up.
I'm an innocent good girl, trying to be the good daughter and the good student. He's 15 years older than me and part of a dark world I didn't know existed. He takes one bossy look at me, and he's obsessed. The next thing I know, he forces me to be his Bratva bride.
I demand that he let me go, but the gates of his mansion are all locked up. He tells me to calm down and gently strokes my hips until I succumb. He mocks me about my temper and roughly grabs my wrists until I obey. He says he'll protect me as he slowly makes my body desperate for him.
What will the Bratva King say when he finds out I'm pregnant?
The Yuri Bratva is ruthless in every way. They will kill for their brides, own their bodies, and ruin their hearts for only one The true love that only a bad, bossy Russian can give you.
Ever since she was in her teens, Isla has relished the escapism romance novels offer, becoming obsessed with the genre. She feels there is something comforting and at the same time liberating in knowing that, no matter the trials and tribulations her favorite protagonists may go through, a happy ending always awaits them.
In her own writing, Isla enjoys the process of creating complex characters that are captivating and seductive, even when tested by the rollercoaster that is life. She loves intermixing adversity and setbacks with hot and steamy scenes, before giving her creations the happily ever after they deserve.
Isla describes herself as a hopeless romantic and lives in Boston, Massachusetts, with the love of her life, Andy. Isla and Andy share a big circle of friends and never miss an occasion to organize fun get-togethers, delicious cookouts and laughter-filled karaoke nights.
The first thing you need to know to read this review is me:
So first thing first: english is not my first language. Also, the way I rate books:
⭐️ Hate it ⭐️⭐️ I didn't like it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ It's okay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I like it pretty much ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I will never find a book like this again
For me this book was a 3.5⭐️
Reading this book for me was like the "free guilty day" when you are on diet. It started good because FMC was strong and firm, the secret her family where hidden was unnespected. Trifon (my lord that name) was a kind man to her, he may not be a good person but he was gentle with her (well, you know, after the kidnnaping). As i already state in my other reviews, i like men who are respectful, gentle, kind, soft, etc, not your typical shadow daddy , and he was surprisingly good, he said nice romantic things.
But... nothing happens, like... nothing related to the mafia that will make you feel nervous, by the end i was boreeeeed.
I will like to recommend to the author to be more careful while writing since she likes to repeat certain phrases a lot in the book, i noticed maybe because my brain is processing the book twice as english is not my first language. As well as do more descriptive paragraphs and extense the world as we didn't move really.
This is a perfect Bratva love story. An older Pakhan and a young doctor who doesn’t know her family’s business or that her Father is a Pakhan as well. Their story starts with acts of violence against his family. She is a witness so ther decides to make her his wife. A forced alliance between their families. It is not a smooth process but in the end they get their HEA.
This is the first book in the Yuri Bratva family saga. It starts with the Pakhan, Trifon Yuri and his bride who he kidnapped and forced to marry him, Dr. Yulia Fydorov. Yulia is a strong character and easy to root for. Trifon is a dynamic force of nature but he shows her a tender side. This is one of the author's better books. There are 5 brothers and 2 sisters so this is probably the beginning of a long series.
This is Trifon and Yulia’s story, a relationship that did not begin in the conventional way! This is a story involving shootings, kidnapping and twists and turns that keeps you turning the page. I really enjoyed it.
