Maeve Harlow is a new author for me, and I am glad I took a chance. I enjoyed her MFM post-apocalyptic, reverse harem, BDSM story. Ruby, Ander, Roman and Kallie live in a world where a plague has killed off most of the population and the survivors formed tribes. Small communities are set up and the tribes live in these communities to survive. Ruby, Ander, Roman and Kallie live in Persimmon Valley where women are repressed and forced to help repopulate society. Ruby is forced to live a lie to protect herself, pretending to be a slut, so men will leave her alone. I know, it sounds crazy, but it works in this story. Ruby’s only lover has been Kallie. Wells, the leader of Persimmon Valley wants the community to be based on traditional values and the four do not fit that mold. I enjoyed reading about this polyamorous group and how they made their own way, refusing to let Wells force them into his mold. We find out why Ander used to bully Ruby and how they repaired their relationship. Altogether, the world building is impressive, and characters are interesting, making this poly, queer, kinky story a fun read.

i admit, the genre isn't one I normally read so bear with me. The story is intense and seems to be more about the hot scenes than storyline. It plays in a future society with different rules/regulations and is a mix of narrow mindedness in regards to acceptance and excess.
Not sure what I think of the writingstyle, because I don't know if my opinion is tainted by not liking the genre..... so, because I promised a review, I would suggest to read the description carefully and decide if it is something you want to try, or if you know the genre.... go for it and enjoy :-)

Super HOT MFM with:

Despite being a short story it has plot.
A dystopian world where there is more men than women's. Some men think they know what is better for women and make rules supposedly to ensure the prosperity, regardless of what women want or think.
Our FMC and the 2 CMM's have to decide what's best for them, after a certain idiot crawls. It's what it takes to let the concept and poisonous words cloud your judgment and actions.
It has an HEA.

Very good book that is just as kinky as the others. Okay, the leader of the tribe thinks that society needs to go back to the Victorian Era and one woman and one man. But yet every woman brought into the tribe is his to take as he pleases first and then given to someone else. Ruby is made to choose between Roman and Anders because she isn't in the house where the leader assigned her to. Instead, she chooses both of them, and they wind up leaving the tribe to find another that is more excepting of their kinky lifestyle. If you love BDSM then check out this book.

Unusual storyline but mostly well written BDSM romance. The three main characters find their true matches with each other in this triune relationship. Doms Ramon and Ander enjoy their consensual domination of submissive Ruby in this apocalyptic tale. Strange situations force them to find a community that supports their proclivities. Not bad for this trope.

Post apocalyptic RH poly MFM story. This is an interesting one. It's not that often that you a have a female lead that is so masochistic in the Dom scene. This is a good short read if you're into really spicy stories. This post apocalyptic world is over run by Misogynistic A- holes to make it review friendly. I'd have liked some violence to have come to them.

The beginning of this book confused me some, but I kept reading. There were some hot scenes which is why the book got 4 stars. The plot is a little weak, but the HOT makes up for it. I think I'm not into biochemical war and the aftermath plots.
