Enchanted snow, mischievous cats, and a stolen wish… A whimsical holiday mystery where love and community prove to be the season’s greatest gifts.
At Frosted Pines Tree Farm, Christmas is more than twinkling lights and cocoa by the fire—it’s enchantment woven into every snowflake.
Clara Snow, owner of Snowfall Enchantments, fills her shelves with hand-painted ornaments that whisper people’s deepest wishes. But when a box of these magical treasures vanishes just days before the Winter Wishes Festival, Quillhaven’s holiday spirit teeters on the brink.
With gruff but endearing tree farmer Nick Whitestone at her side—and a little help from Leo and Luna, the town’s mischievous Siamese cats—Clara follows glowing boot prints, tangled gossip, and spells gone awry through a snow-dusted trail of suspects.
From a sharp-tongued podcaster to a wandering peddler and a gossipy senior, everyone seems to be hiding something.
As the Wishing Tree shimmers with secrets, Clara must untangle the mystery before Christmas Eve. Because in Quillhaven, even the snow remembers magic—and sometimes the season’s greatest gifts are the ones we never expect.
A heartwarming blend of holiday mystery, small-town magic, and cozy romance—where talking cats chase clues, wishes shimmer beneath the snow, and Christmas spirit proves stronger than any thief.

A Quillhaven Magical Mystery conjures up such a delightful response from me . Really it does ,they’re always such fun to thread with greed Tessa Silver has her quill ( couldn’t resist): on the pulse of our mystery craving psyche . But crikey Clara Snow and her Siamese cats Leo and Luna have lots to do ,filling each and every clue at Frost Pines Tree Farm where someone isn’t calm. Clara’s Christmas store Snowfall Enchantments ,with baubles ,snowflake magic and more is located on the farm owned by Nick Whitestone . There’s something awry when a box of her extra special ornaments goes missing and thus they’re on a mission to stop the chaos that’s bound to ensue. You see these magical things whisper deepest wishes and dreams and have enchantment sewn in the seams. Not to be deceived they follow the trail through the snow ,these are not just any snowflakes you know and she must come good by Christmas Eve to save Christmas , her store and the town.. The Winter Wishes must be made for order to remain. Their whole holiday spirit is counting on it . On them and they can’t let the town down . This book is everything that is synonymous with Tessa Silver’s writing ,it’s immersive ,it’s cosy and it’s exciting and magical . It’s such a thrill to read with greed and those sassy felines are comical creatures with charming features. Brilliantly crafted characters and descriptions that marry so well . I was under the compelling storytelling spell.

The perfect seasonal cozy, magical, read. The book takes the reader back to Quillhaven, this is the story about Clara Snow, owner of the Snowfall Enchantments. Nick Whitestone is also a big part of this story. Clara's box of the 63 enchanted wishing ornaments had gone missing. The ornaments need to be found and Clara and Nick are investigating. This story take the reader on adventure and has a bit of twist and turns. The other characters in the story also have wishes of their own, that they would like to see happen. The heartfelt story of Arthur and Amelia Jenkins that just hope and wish to stay in their house. With magic spreading in Quillhaven the big annual event, with the 200 year old "Wishing Tree." Wishes pinned to the bark of the tree, with the hope that a wish would come true. The storytelling was magical, felt true and with the belief that miracles do happen. Harper one of the characters, that was lost and needed to find a way back, new friends and lots of hope and new happy possibilities. Being part of the community of Quillhaven during the glowing season of Christmas. Leo and Luna also being a part of the story makes it as always, a cute apparition in Quillhaven. I truly enjoyed this book and can definitely recommend it. Still feeling that peaceful and magical spirit of Quillhaven. I'm so grateful to have read this book! Charlotte N
I loved the latest book in the series! Very heartwarming Christmas story with seasonal appropriate magic, a bit of romance, mystery and a happy ending. I grew up in the concrete jungle and am a city gal thru and thru. But reading this it’s clear that there is something very special about small town life and the author, Tessa Silver, knows how to bring it to showcase it. She is gifted in that she can bring the characters alive on the page and make you feel like you’ve known them for years. Clara and Nick are our newest couple in this story. They can tell their individual stories all the while weaving their common love for what they do that has brought them together. And I love how Leo keeps happening upon them when they are “having a moment” throughout the story. It’s wonderful how everyone pulls together at the end to make the magic happen for those that need it the most. Christmas just wouldn’t be right if you couldn’t believe that miracles are possible. I had tears of joy that everything worked out at the end for those we met in this story. No cliffhanger ending and if this is your first story in the series have no fear you won’t be lost. I received a free ARC copy, and these are my comments.
This is just a fantastic cozy series. Quillhaven is a magical town, with a majority of people having some sort of magical ability whether it is being a witch, the ability to add charms/blessings to flowers, coffee or baking. And the Siamese cats, Leo and Luna, are there for everything. It’s almost Christmas and everyone is getting ready. Clara runs Snowfall Enchantments, a store that caters to all holiday traditions. This includes Christmas wreaths that sing Christmas songs. The big tradition is some enchanted ornaments. The ornaments will advise what a person’s greatest wish is. And on Christmas Eve, the Wishing Tree grants the wish. This year the ornaments are stolen, magic is going crazy, mistletoe is flying around, the wreaths singing inappropriate songs and everything feels off. With help from Nick, the owner of the tree farm and the cats, Clara tries to figure out what’s happening. There is no action in these books just a nice mystery, with humour, some romance, magic, great characters and interactions. I can’t think of anything I don’t like about this book and series. It’s a quick, fun, easy read. Everything just flows together.
Clara Snow has an enchanted ornament shop that's the heart of Quillhaven’s annual Winter Wishes Festival. Then someone steals all of the mystical ornaments shortly before Christmas Eve. Clara teams up with Nick Whitestone, the local tree farmer, to investigate. Of course, they have help from Leo and Luna, two magical Siamese cats. They all work together to find the ornaments so the ancient Wishing Tree will be able to grant its annual miracle for someone in need. But the real magic comes when a cynical podcaster learns to believe, a community chooses grace, and two hearts discover love.
This has been a fascinating series and this book was no exception. I was drawn into this captivating story and kept hooked from start to finish. This was a fun cozy mystery with a sweet romance. There's also a sense of community and friendship. The mystery was intriguing and fun to solve. I loved this book and am looking forward to the next one. I highly recommend both book and series which I believe is best read in order although each book has a self-contained, stand-alone mystery with no cliffhangers.
It is nearly Christmas in Quillhaven, Maine and at Snowfall Enchantments Clara Snow is stocking her shelves with magical creations and most importantly the beautifully hand painted ornaments that whispers a person's deepest wish. But then the unthinkable happens, a box of those magical ornaments is stolen from Clara's shop. Nick Whitestone, tree farmer, and owner of Frosted Pines Tree Farm will team up with Clara, and Leo and Luna the town's Siamese felines with noses known for sniffing out clues to make sure the ornaments are returned for Quillhaven's Winter Wishes Festival on Christmas Eve. As always, these characters are compelling and made me laugh from time to time as well as seriously tugging at the old heartstrings. This is a sweet, kisses only holiday romance between Clara and Nick that kept me engrossed from the first page to the last. Magic and mystery in a feel-good romance with a surprising twist or two, some laugh out loud feline antics, and a happily ever after for Nick and Clara. I loved this addition to the Quillhaven Magical Cozy Mystery series and recommend it to other readers.

Really enjoyed this book. I love anything that deals in magic and give one hope that anything is possible. This story happens during the Christmas season in a town name Quillhaven. Clara has a special connection to the Wishing Tree. Every year during this time, Nick who sells Christmas trees and takes care of the trees that surround the Wishing tree, is getting ready for the fundraiser which involves selling the Wishing Ornaments. A podcast reporter named Harper is interviewing the different shops that are magical, and wants to debunk the magic. Clara is protecting the Wishing Ornaments at her shop and when she awakes the following morning, the ornaments are missing. Suspision begins to circle around Quillhaven and rumors begin to circulate. Enter two cats, Leo and Luna who are magical and can talk but only special people can hear them. They help Clara and Nick try to find out who took the ornaments. With the Wishing Ornaments missing, magic has turned into chaos and the ornaments must be found to restore balance before Christmas Eve.
Cozy Charm and Holiday Heist! This latest book is a magical trip back to the cozy, snow-dusted town of Quillhaven, where magic is routine and almost everyone has a touch of it. Clara Snow, owner of Snowfall Enchantments, is gearing up for the biggest event of the year: the Wishing Tree ceremony, fueled by her special, wish-telling ornaments. However, when these enchanted ornaments are stolen, chaos erupts! Magic goes haywire, turning festive decorations into sources of hilarious trouble—from flying mistletoe to naughty singing wreaths. Clara, along with the charming local tree farmer Nick Whitestone and the indispensable Siamese cats, Leo and Luna, must race to solve the heist and restore the holiday spirit. Frosted Pines and Holiday Signs is a wonderfully fun, quick, and easy read that offers a clean, humorous mystery, great characters, and enchanting Christmas magic. It's the perfect cozy escape!
I absolutely love the QuillHaven Magical Mystery series! They are such fun easy reads...all of them! I've got to say, this might be my new favorite of the series. (yes, I realize I say that on almost all of them, but it's true 💕) This one is not a normal cozy mystery, as there is no murder, instead there is a theft of magical ornaments. But it is just a very sweet book about grace and forgiveness and belonging. It definitely got me in the Christmas spirit (and for those that don't celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa are also mentioned, though not featured). This can be read as a stand alone book, as can all of them in this series, but if you read them in order, you do have a few of the characters that pop up again and again. The best being Annie and her two cats Luna and Leo, who always steal the show! If you want an intriguing, intense mystery, this is not it. If you want a sweet, feel-good story, with a fun mystery, read this book!! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This cozy Christmas mystery was such a delightful read! The premise alone is charming — a set of magically enchanted Christmas ornaments suddenly goes missing, and an investigation begins to uncover what happened to them. The combination of holiday spirit and gentle magical elements creates a wonderfully comforting atmosphere.
The story is filled with warmth, charm, and that sparkly Christmas feeling we all look for in seasonal reads. The magic woven throughout the book feels sweet rather than dramatic, and it adds just the right touch of wonder to the mystery. The plot is engaging without ever feeling stressful, making it the perfect book to curl up with on a winter evening.
Overall, it’s a truly lovely and heartwarming mystery, perfect for readers who enjoy cozy stories with a little enchantment sprinkled in. A great choice for the holiday season!.

I broke my own rule by not reading a series sequentially — but it didn't matter. I was keen to read this one approaching Christmas — and glad I did! It was like having a warm hug, wrapped in a blanket, in front of a roaring log fire, sipping hot chocolate. Quillhaven is populated with friends who care. Tessa's writing has us seeing Frosted Pines Tree Farm and Clara's shop within; feeling the cold snow; tasting the warm drinks; smelling the scents of Christmas; and hearing the festive music. Occasional references to popular culture, so well timed, had me in stitches! Clara is on the trail of the missing Wish Ornaments which were to be used in the Winter Wishing Festival around the ancient Wishing Tree. Suspicion falls on several people but Quillhaveners will surely have a way to resolve this...? This is a story of friendship and belief in goodness, sprinkled with a little bit of magic. Leo and Luna absolutely steal the show!
Everyone loves some Christmas magic with a little sweet romance thrown into the mix. Quillhaven, a quaint little town known for a little magic every day. However, at Christmas time it is truly special. It is known to have a magic Christmas tree that would grant one wish every year, as well as magic ornaments that could tell your true heart's desire. This year is chaos, though. When the magical ornaments are stolen, the keeper of the ornaments, Clara Snow must find them before all the Christmas magic is completely gone. Together with her close friend Nick and the talking cats Leo and Luna, Clara sets out on a rollercoaster of clues to find the magic and return it to the town. This was a wonderful, light read to get you in the Christmas mood.

In this 10th installment of the Quillhaven series, Clara Snow has a special magic that connects her to the trees at the Frosted Pines Tree Farm. She also is the keeper of magical Wishing Ornaments in her shop, Snowfall Enchantment. Things go awry when the ornaments mysteriously disappear and it’s up to Clara and Nick (the owner of Frosted Pines) to figure out who took the ornaments and find them before the Winter Wishes Festival begins.
Tessa Silver has outdone herself once again. This Christmas story has magic, mystery, humor and love woven throughout the pages. The book not only focuses on solving the mystery but also highlights the Christmas spirit and forgiveness. I honestly had a hard time putting this book down. I highly recommend this book (and series) to anyone who enjoys cozy mysteries and Christmas miracles.
This is the 10th addition to the Quillhaven Magical Cozy Mystery series and it is fantastic. It is so much fun, you just can't put it down. Clara Snow is the owner of Snowfall Enchantments getting ready to sell her special ornaments for charity at the Wishing Tree ceremony. These special ornaments are wish telling ornaments. But when a box of them are stolen, she has to find them before Christmas Eve. With the help of tree farmer Nick Whitestone and of course, the incredible all knowing, clue finding cats, Leo and Luna she has to find them fast because magic in the town is going haywire with things like flying mistletoe. This book will have you guessing and turning pages, it is hilarious and unputdownable! I highly not only recommend this book, but I highly recommend the entire series. I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.
Clara Snow, owner for Snowfall Enchantments, located on the grounds of a tree farm is excited about the upcoming Winter Wishes Festival. When a box of magical Wishing Ornaments goes missing, not only does she feel the loss but so do the trees around her, especially the magical and mystical Wishing Tree. After the ornaments go missing the town soon begins to feel the imbalance in the atmosphere so Clara and tree farm owner Nick Whitestone takes it upon themselves to search for the ornaments or see the Winter Wishes Festival fail. Luckily for them talking cats Luna and Leo are along to help. I enjoyed this magical book and look forward to more Quillhaven stories. This is my honest and voluntary review of an advanced copy of this book.
A lighthearted Christmas mystery set in the magical town of Quillhaven is guaranteed to have as many bumps and turns along the way as icy sleigh tracks. Missing magical Wishing ornaments turn all related magic topsy-turvy. With mistletoe divebombing everyone in sight, how can warmth develop in loving hearts? With talking Siamese cats, Loe and Luna, on the scene, everything is just that bit more unusual. As are all the other Quillhaven mysteries, this is a standalone read that is only made richer through the opportunity to greet familiar characters who appear in the background. The magic of Quillhaven lies in the townspeople (eventually) supporting one another and accepting the richness that lies in each person. This is truly what makes Christmas magic.
It's a Quillhaven story, but my first thought was "What a Gorgeous book cover". We're up to ten in this cozy mysteries series and I just want more. Frosted Pines is pure Christmas magic. Magical wishes granting ornaments go missing right before Quillhaven’s famed Winter Wishes Festival. Clara Snow, the designer, joins up with Nick Whitestone, tree farm owner and, of course, Luna and Leo, investigator cats, to solve the mystery. A twisty, turning intrigue is weaved into this very enjoyable holiday tale. Red herring clues and too many suspects make it very cozy and much fun. Best read with a soft, cuddly blanket and a cup of cocoa. Would it be too much to wish for... while a soft snow falls?.

Quillhaven is a small town but filled with magic. Clara is the owner of Snowfall Enchantments and a box of ornaments that whisper people's wishes goes missing just days before the Winter Wishes Festival. These ornaments must be fount and before Christmas Eve in order to have everything set right. Christmas is full of magic and most especially in Quillhaven. Clara, Nick from the Frosted Pines tree farm, and her two magical talking cats Leo and Luna are following the clues. Even the snow remembers magic and the Wishing tree is aglow with secrets. This story grabs the reader by the heartstrings and doesn't let go until the end. Brings back some of the magic of Christmas that kids have. Wonderful story!.

Clara Snow is the owner of Snowfall Enchantments and sells holiday decor. That includes magical ornaments that know a persons deepest wishes and every year the Wishing Tree picks one to fulfill. When the ornaments are stolen they begin to investigate, hoping the ornaments are found in time to save the Winter Wishes Festival. Clara has the help of Nick Whitestone, who owns the farm the tree is on, and Leo and Luna the Siamese cats. With rumors swirling, they must find the ormaments before time runs out. I really love the town of Quillhaven and meeting different residents in each of the books.
Rating 4.5 stars We once again visit the magical town of Quillhaven, Maine, but the story is different from other ones. This time instead of a murder mystery, there is a theft. But not just any theft, someone steals the magical ornaments from Clara Snow. Clara is the owner of Snowfall Enchantments and these ornaments are tied to the Wishing Tree.
Of course, Luna and Leo are on the case to solve the mystery. The town questions everybody and a love story ensues.
This story is so cute! A magical, quant town in Maine. Christmas. Magic. And above all, love!
I can't wait to see what Leo and Luna and the town of Quillhaven get up to next!
Frosted Pines & Holiday Signs is a beautiful magical story about Clara at the Frosted Pine Farm and she was selling Magical Wishing Ornaments for Charity. Unfortunately the Ornaments were stolen. Clara, Nick with Leo and Luna who were magical Familiars of Annie looked for the pieces of this puzzle. They looked into the mystery with Noah the Police Chief. The magic was becoming unstable as the Ornaments were linked to the Wishing Tree. When the puzzle is complete will the town's magic become stable again? Superb story and series that I enjoyed reading. I highly recommend you read.

While I immensely enjoyed this novel of Tessa Silver, I would categorize this as a young adult read.
The wishing tree is unhappy, someone has stolen the magical tree ornaments. As a result, chaos ensues - the singing wreaths are singing the wrong songs at the wrong speed, the air is full of stink bombs, the mistletoe is dive bombing the residents.
Fortunately, the mischievous talking Siamese cats Luna and Leo are on the case.
Ultimately, the story comes together and is solved with community spirit, forgiveness and a heartwarming conclusion.
I received an advance review copy and I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.
I really look forward to each new release in this series.
FROSTED PINES & HOLIDAY SIGNS is the tenth installment in A Quillhaven Magical Cozy Mystery Book series by Tessa Silver. Each of these murder mysteries includes quirky, loveable characters and light-hearted fun that always gets me hooked from beginning to end. There are enough twists and turns in each story to keep things interesting and prevent the series from growing old or tired. Each installment introduces a new resident and a new and fresh plot. This is a great Christmas addition to the Quillhaven series.
Clara Snow owns the Snowfall Enchantment Christmas shop. She's preparing to put out the enchanted ornaments when she discovers they have disappeared. Without these special ornaments, the Christmas Magic won't be the same. Soon, magical chaos starts erupting around the farm and the store. Could it spread throughout Quillhaven?
Clara and friend Nick must quickly recover the enchanted ornaments and restore the holiday magic. Of course, the magical Siamese cats, wise cracking Leo, and more serious Luna are their to give their wisest help to the search.
This is a fun Christmas story, and is sure to reignite some of your own Christmas magic.

Another magical book. This time set in the winter with lots of snow falling on the local pine trees and the WishingTree is the centre of it all. Clara has her shop there, selling ornaments, some rare ones that tell people their deepest wishes. Nick, running this grandfather’s farm alone, as his grandfather died earlier in the year. Also, the two Siamese cats Leo & Luna. Someone steals the wishing ornaments, and magical things around the place go a bit haywire. Naturally everything works out in the end. A great book, teaching that grace cannot be earned, it is given freely.
The town of Quillhaven is getting ready for the Christmas season and decorating the Wish Tree. Unfortunately, the ornaments are stolen from Clara's store and it messes with the towns magic. The trees are sad, the singing wreaths are singing songs that aren't appropriate for Christmas, and it seems that the spirit of Christmas is just missing. With the help of Luna and Leo, the Siamese cats, and Nick, the owner of Frosted Pines Tree Farm, they find the culprit and return the spirit of the Wishing Tree and the town's magic. I received an arc and this is my review.
This Christmas adventure in Quillhaven begins with a theft of the Wishing Tree ornaments but soon becomes more about community support of each other, forgiveness and grace. The "villain" turns out to be more than what appears in each interaction. Leo and Luna are once more "on the case" and steal each scene. I would love to actually see Leo and Luna in their winter hats. A feel good mystery with humor, heartfelt growth and acceptance, magic and romance. I hope this isn't the final one in the series.
This is definitely a feel good Christmas book in that it makes you feel like a kid again and believe in the magic of Christmas. Of course, with magic, there is usually mayhem and Clara, Nick, Leo and Luna are on the trail of the stolen ornaments. Good storyline, kept me involved and rooting for the good guys. A feel good story perfect for that Christmas magic feel. Of course, having Leo and Luna in the middle of everything lets you know that Quillhaven is still going strong!.

The Frosted Pines Tree Farm is the center of all things Christmas in Quillhaven. Clara owns the shop Snowfall Enchantments there. Days before the Winter Wishes Festival, a box of special magical ornaments disappears from her shop. Can the Festival even happen with the ornaments missing? Clara, tree farmer Nick and the two magical Siamese cats team up to try to find the ornaments before Christmas Eve. A very special Christmas story that shows the real magic of this wonderful season. Very special characters too! This is one of my all-time favorite Christmas stories!
