Omgggg. I don’t know how to put in words how much I enjoyed this book. Books like this are why I have unrealistic expectations. So good!

Mads on Mic captured my attention immediately! L. Clara's writing is sensual, erotic, hot, steamy, sexy and spicy yet full of love, encouragement, friendship and motivation! This is the first book I had the pleasure of reading by this author but I cannot wait to read more; I am so glad to be a part of her team!
Feeling like I’m living the life of main character Mads, meeting Ka’Mani, sharing the bond they share, is like reconnecting with a lifelong friend. This story is full of trust, not only among friends, blossoming love but trust within Mads herself. The trust she has learning her own strengths, her own heart and resilience is encouraging. The story is not about following someone else’s dreams, not about following what someone else wants in their life, it’s about trusting what she knows she wants, trusting herself and knowing she’s making decisions based on what’s best for her, and that resonated with me. The strength, trust and knowledge Mads has, what she built for herself yet knowing if something doesn’t work out, nothing is permanent, she can still stand on her own two feet and adjust her future the same as she has in the past, continuing to move forward. That is what motivated me to continue reading, and made it challenging for me to put this book down!
However, the twist in the story involving Dylan was so unexpected and thought-provoking, up to that point, I was breezing through the book, but slowed down fully to absorb what was happening. L. Clara writes so smoothly, it’s like a lightswitch. One moment I was so immersed in such sensuality, the next moment the flow of the story seamlessly flips back to a normal day of reality. There were so many emotions! I love both main characters, Mads and Dylan, both show such honesty, love, and strength, admittedly though Mads truly captures my heart and soul. I will also forever remember Mr. Phillips and Mr. Ed!
Mads on Mic left me mind-numbingly, blissfully, fulfilled!
Final thought…I am totally obsessed with the announcement and picture at the end of chapter…oh wait…spoiler alert…sorry! Highly recommend!

Talk about a cute read!!!!! L Clara has a way of writing characters with such meet cute moments 🖤! Mads and Dylan are so freaking cute I couldn’t even handle it!! The story is so Hallmark romance mixed with body positivity. Each of these characters have their own journeys they’ve struggled in but come together beautifully! You have the banter, the romance, the laughing, and so much more. It is a quick romance, so be prepared for that. It’s an instant connection filled with fire burning yearning 🤤. Come on sometimes we all want to be swept up in the moment with a sexy broadway man 😆.
Mads is the body positive woman who is looking to live life. What more can you hope for when it comes to a vacation. Maybe a little hook up 🫣. But so much more happens and I’m so happy for her. A plus size girly getting what she deserves! And the recognition for her career was so good to see!!!!
Dylan! The man had my romantic yearning heart. Please can I get one of him to go 🤚. He is a man that knows what he wants and goes after it. He’s all about showing up and spoiling, like come on please be real I need one. He’s so open from the get go and is willing to do what she wants and needs.

I am NOT a cozy romance reader. Mads on the Mic was just absolutely incredible! It is 155 pages of swoon worthy courtship in the beautiful fall New York City!
When you have a MC that says things like this…..

I laughed, giggled and just melted with these new characters. What ever she puts in these books have just been crack. I really enjoyed this book, a trope I normally stay away from, L. Clara makes me want to read more! I can’t wait for her next fall cozy read!

It was a wonderful and sweet romance read!! With Mads being the lovable plus-sized social media influencer, whose podcast blows up overnight, it seems like all of her dreams start to come true. She is a woman after my own heart! She knows what she wants and will not settle for anything less!
In walks Dylan, this beautiful black haired beauty from the stage. He knew from the moment he laid eyes on Mad that she was the one for him. Just one problem, he needed to convince her of that. There are about a million hiccups and roadblocks along the way, but Dyland does everything in his power to land his dream girl!
There is amazing banter throughout this book. And the author truly captures the small and sometimes large insecurities of being a plus-size woman in a relationship and trying to feel like you are enough and worthy of that love.

I loved everything about this book! This was the first book I’ve read from L. Clara. I can’t wait to read more of her masterpieces. Amazing book!

Plus size girls unite!
This book was cute. It was an easy/quick read.
Mads is finding her own after a self deprecating relationship. She starts a successful podcast based on smutty books. She’s grown her confidence so much and being a beautiful curvy girl - she’s owning it. I love her self confidence so much!
She takes a trip for her besties birthday and meets a broadway smoke-show that everyone is after - Dylan. Although she’s only there for a short period of time, spending time with him quickly becomes a priority.
There’s a little bit of drama and of course some good spice! He knows what he wants from first seeing Mads at his show and Dylan isn’t scared to claim what’s his. The storyline was cute - I ate this book up. Highly recommend! Thank you to the author for the early read 🤍 all opinions are my own.

This was a very cute, heartwarming story with a little bit of drama thrown in. It was a pretty quick, fast paced read for me.
I loved all the descriptions when Mads was first doing her tour and would have liked to see a bit more, bringing us into the sights, sounds and smells of the city more. I was expecting more interaction between Mads and her friend, Ka’Mani and her boyfriend, especially after the brushoff at the birthday party.
If you are looking for a he falls first and hard story, I definitely recommend this book. I was given a free copy to read and am willingly leaving my review.

This was a perfect book to read while I was on a short break.
It's a short novella but it has everything - a meet cute, pursuing, pining, drama, NYC vibes and much more.
I wouldn't have minded a few more pages also tbh.
A perfect read when you are on a holiday or in between heavy reads.

Omg this book was so good. I love how all the books are connected with one another. Mads and Dylan holy moly were they connected in more ways than one. I love how Dylan loves her the way she is. This book is plus size meets muscular man not the average story. He’s okay with the Smut she talks about and she loves him performing. I love how she incorporated all the authors we learn to fall in love with and added to the story. But I definitely didn’t see Marie taking her contact that far. If L. Clara writes it I’ll read it. So happy to been on this journey with her for all her books.

Mads is my "it" girl. she embodies everything i wish i had the courage to feel about my body. She is such a strong woman, so confident in herself, that I felt like it had a moment to step into her shoes in this book and love vicariously. And Dylan, omgosh. just too cute! these two together were beautiful. I loved the way they connected. the conversations, the laughs. This book brings a sweet and cozy, but sexy and strong vibe to it.
I absolutely adored this book.

Mads and Dylan's story is a cute fall romance. It has all the sweet romance feels. The way Dylan fell for Mads is adorable! It's a great continuation of the series. I love that we got to see Ryker and Fallon again. This is a short story, but it has so much plot, character development, and some spice. Even Dylan's friends are a great addition to the series! I love all the representation L Clara put into this book. I love that Mads is plus-size and confident! The podcast job for her is brilliant. I haven't seen that job too much in books. She is Dylan's support system for some things he goes through. The ending is perfect and I can't wait for the next book!

But Mads is only in town for a moment... He has to convince her and there are A LOT of things that get in the way of that. But will his feelings and love win??!

Ok I didn’t even realised when I’ve started this book and finished it like hello. This is one of the books where you will keep reading and not wanting it to get finished. And that’s what I felt. I didn’t wanted it to be finished. This is a really good book with good plot, storyline and characters. I had to finish it in one seating. This book is so relaxing to read.

Absolutely perfect in every single way. Mads is such a fun character to read about. I love how she turned her being fired in the beginning into a new career and a way to bring a positive spotlight on spicy books. I adore her vision and how she presents her podcasts. Then there is Dylan, whose as swoon worthy as can be. There's no one better for Mads than Dylan. Hot asf? Check. Sweet and endearing? Check. Good in bed? Triple check. Like she hit the man lottery and man their scenes together were so 🔥 🥵 While I adore them, Im also a huge fan of how she handled male SA. Its not talked about nearly enough and Clara did a beautiful job. I didnt want this story to end but I love the years later included. Love love loved the story.

When I started this book I was thinking this was going to be a short story about a short fling. Boy was I wrong but it’s a good thing! This was a story I couldn’t stop reading and when I had to put it down I couldn’t stop thinking about it. This story was written perfectly and there was anything I would have changed and the spice level was perfect.

This book floored me! L Clara writes books that have smut and heart! Mads is such a fun character!? Dylan got me from the beginning and he didn’t care what other people thought. The twist in the book was one I never imagined could be possible. While the scenario does happen, it is not talked about much and Wow! I hope there is more in this series!

Dylan is a complete romantic! Love that he swept Mads off her feet while in her vacation in NYC. I will never forget Mr. Phillips and their carriage ride! We need a podcast like Maddox's! What an interesting concept for a show!.

Yhe perfect romance to warm you up on a cold day!
I absolutely loved Dylan! Don't get me wrong I liked Mads too, but Dylan was a next level MMC. He was sweet, caring, thoughtful & very very giving. Overall it's sweet read that added joy to my day

I absolutely loved this book. I felt like I was watching a hallmark movie. Would love it if this turned into a movie. So cute. Mads and Dylan are so cute together.

Loved this cute story. Dylan's instant feelings for Mads and the way he "stalks" her are adorable. I love the self confidence Mads has and doesn't question her value when tormented by Marie.

Loved this book!! Finished it in less than 24 hours! The story between Mads and Dylan is the best fairytale! Such an easy read! Highly recommend to put a smile on your face!!

This was an absolute 5-star read! I adored Mads. It was so refreshing to read about a plus-size heroine who is confident, successful, and a total boss in her own right. Her "Mads on Mic" podcast about romance books was the perfect setup. And then Dylan... a perfect "he falls first" hero who sees her, wants her, and goes all in. Their chemistry was fantastic, and the story was upbeat, fun, and so heartwarming. I was smiling the whole time!
