I don't rate nonfiction.

Fascinating and informative book about poisonous plants that was a great read after visiting Alnwick and the Poison Garden. The illustrations in particular are really beautiful. Great for people new to toxicology and botany, but also those with a lifelong interest (like me).

I purchased this book after visiting the garden this past October and I find the book to be incredibly well written and interesting. It is fully illustrated and tells you about different poisonous plants that grow local to England and across the globe from A-to-Z as well as giving you a full history of the castle, gardens and grounds and programs. This is a great souvenir and beautiful addition to my home library.
