I want to thank Nicole Thomas for the book Hidden i received as a giveaway.

This book is a very short story. It is a total of 12 pages long from beginning to end.

Honestly the descriptions were great but the story itself is lacking a baseline. I understand that she lives in NYC and she is at work trying to meet a deadline that she fails to meet. I also understand where the wild fire came from but orange dust, the late warning not to touch the windows by her ex. It was intriguing at first with the description but then I read it. I am giving this short story a two star rating for the unanimated objects descriptions. Honestly it could have been a little longer and a description of the main character would have been nice. instead of focusing on a phone call in the beginning and her blue bracelet. What I would like to know is what happened to her and why she shouldn't have touched the glass?

Hidden is full of symbols and metaphors that lulled me into a terrifying world beginning with the protagonist arriving to her high rise business office which is completely deserted even though the time is well after the beginning of the day. Just finding themself alone in a huge, deserted office is bad enough. But there is a window; an equally large window overlooking a now empty city expanse. She is now all alone in the world with no one to protect her from the danger that is coming at breakneck speed. Buy this story to learn what happens to her. And what might happen to you next.

I enjoyed this short story. It was super mysterious and had really creepy vibes. It was very descriptive and felt real. It’s a thriller with unanswered questions but that definitely added to the story. I really enjoyed this story!

Great short story! Definitely a thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat. I think a few more pages could have been added to really round out the story and make it a little more linear. Overall really good!

Quick creepy story. I’ve never read a scary story based on weather because weird weather phenomenons already creep me out, but I enjoyed it.

I did not understand this story at all. I will have to reread it and see if it clicks.
