I can't stop smiling, this book was so so so adorable start to finish. I also can't believe how fast I flew through this book. I was glued to every page and couldn't put it down for a second.
"Time After Time" was incredibly heartfelt and tragic. The glimpse and parallels of Libby and Tish's past lives weaving the story together made the story so addictive and layered. I was just like Libby reading Elizabeth's diary in the book, I couldn't sleep till I knew what had happened next.
This book touches on many subjects from grief, toxic family dynamics, found family and, class disparity. It made the book so much more than just a romance with a sci-fi element to me. I also really enjoyed the writing in this. It wasn't like other YA books that I have read in the past where the author sacrifices good storytelling and complex character building just because the book is aimed for a younger demographic.
Overall, I really really loved this and will be reading from this author again soon.
(Sidenote) I adore the cover of this book! it is beautifully illustrated and I just love it so much.
Such an adorable and heartwarming book! Watching the two stories come together and connecting everything keeps you looking forward to more and such a sweet ending.
