The next books of the series! The Dark Healer (Book #12): The Dark Healer (Book #13):
The Great Princes' magical games conceal a hidden dimension. Abomination foci turn out to be not merely sources of blight, but portals through which creatures from another world pass.
It is up to Max Richter to solve this mystery before the true enemies of humanity deliver their fatal blow. What started out as vengeance is now a battle for the future of the entire world.
I sometimes wish that I wasn't addicted to this magical world and series, because everytime a new book comes out it costs money! Ohhhh well! C'est la vie! And I'm just as happy to know that the next book will be out soon... In Dark Healer 11 Maximilian Richter plans on dealing with the princes, and their clans, when the need arises, and Diana is his next target! After that he sets out to find the mystery of why his clan was all but destroyed... and if possible uncover more living members of the Richter family! Charlotte could be the key, but it's a tall order, since Charlotte has no memory of her childhood! And well the rest of the time he and his family are dealing with all the Foci that's trying to take out Richterburg. So grab the book 'cause you can't read just one! 😆 🤣 😂
Here's a quote:
“But a lich must inspire fear and respect in his enemies. And right now, I look like some beggar who either crawled out of a dumpster or threw up on himself. Or maybe both.”
I received a review copy of this book. The Dark Healer book 11 is another installment of this ever growing tale about a healer that is so much more. This one has some surprises in it when it comes to enemy tactics. Some enemies are eliminiated (probably), while others are proving to be problematic. It's a very good addition to the series, so if you liked the previous books, you'll be right at home with this one.
I found the majority of the book just okay. The action at the start didn't impress me much, the banter was mostly awkward and the events at Richterberg were not really that interesting. I only enjoyed the very last part of the book which was way too short and ended on a really annoying cliffhanger..
The Princes still attack. They still adhere to the abomination material. They refuse to concede they could be wrong. They do not admit what they did to the Richter family, and Max.
Princess Regina had tricks up her sleeve. Max is ready. But where might she be?
Fantastic read. I cannot wait for the next book. I’m holding my breath.
