☘️Before going into the review, I would want everyone to have a look at the last slide that contains a great exercise you might consider engaging in, the next time you feel your mind is unfocused or overactive.⭐
Esoteric Writings, authored by Cyrus Ryan is a philosophically rich and reflective book which stems from a group work experience. The spiritual quest of the author began when he embarked on the journey of esoteric learning and then, got the mantra shakti from his teacher RN.
The book has been crafted by the author taking inputs from several disciples and with his own experience to help the aspirants achieve the profound spiritual knowledge.
Esoteric knowledge is one which is hard to attain, the one which is readily available is not esoteric,its called exoteric.
To pursue the path of this esoteric wisdom, we must cultivate inner purity, that at the heart of it, requires self awareness, or in the language of patanjali yoga sutras, it is recognising vrittis, klesas and getting rid of it.
Esoteric knowledge starts with the awareness of one's inner self and subsequent purification that requires intense hardwork, meditation and a disciplined, focused mind. The book also dives into the aspect of potency of mantra shakti, the revered deity, and at places mentions the Buddhist, the Sankhya philosophy and the Western ideology therefore creating an amalgamation of the best through his writing and helping the readers to search for the esoteric truth and unfold the fundamentals of their existence.
The book will awaken you to the knowledge of the soul, eternal reality, therefore uplifting up as a human, and broadening the vistas of our knowledge. The book would enlighten us to the journey required for attaining the ultimate bliss where the sense of "I" gently falls away and all that is left is the soul emitting it's divine radiance.
The book although is highly philosophical and has a depth, still I would say it is a must read. It is beautiful and definitely I am going to re-read it.

Esoteric Writings by Cyrus Ryan was just a mesmerizing book that gave me a new perspective of how I look at things. The narrative was very well written and had my whole attention. The depiction and portrayal of concepts in this book was one of the few things that I loved about this book.

I've learned a lot of things about the deeper insights, revelations, and directions of DK's teachings. These concepts are so wonderfully explained that I fell in love with the book.

Esoteric writings is a guide to assist in propelling one’s spiritual progress from a surface level awakening, to a true deeper understanding of higher consciousness. A realistic and practical use from Cyrus’s personal experiences with group work. This includes the daily inner struggles that one experiences in order to transform and purify one’s self, to be an accepted disciple on the path. Each chapter introduces esoteric concepts from the Secrets of Initiation, Discipleship, Mantras, the importance of study, and more importantly the study of one’s self. It is not a lecture, the author simply invites the reader to reflect, offering a transformative guidance to true esoteric knowledge. The book is welcoming to both long time seekers and newcomers entering esoteric studies, a must read.

This valuable book contains up-to-date, tangible, and extremely enlightening information and provides a valuable resource for serious seekers of perennial wisdom applied to esoteric work in the service of humanity's spiritual evolution. In my opinion, its impact can be compared to the enlightenment and guidance found in the works of great servants of the Masters, such as Blavatsky and A.A. Bailey, as well as their besf students.

This book is for aspirants seeking knowledge in the esoteric Group Work as put out by the Master DK through Alice Bailey. It provides real life experience from the authors journey of Group Work throughout decades with a modern approach. While this book is not easy to understand I find it helpful to apply in my day to day the methods presented and feel uplifted reading it. I highly recommend this book if you are seeking knowledge!
